Welcome to Episode 9 of The Madhappy Podcast. Today we welcome Kyle, also known as Super Duper Kyle, onto the show to learn more about how his childhood experiences shaped him into the singer, songwriter, and creative he is today. Season 4! We had to kick off our newest season talking about ONE of the biggest and best shows of the year; THE BOYS. Joining us in this joyous reunion is friend and fan of our show, Super Duper Kyle. Strap in because this episode of the Everyday Black Men podcast is pulling no punches with our special guest Kei from the On The Road podcast on Spotify. We say goodbye to John Lewis and C.T. Vivian and have some friction over fraternities. Next up is the looming stock market crash and a passionate debate over if Bernie Sanders, Warren or Biden are really any good for black folk. In music we ask where was G-Easy when Megan got shot and wonder where all the accountability is for the people we hang out with. Riker will continue to pronounce Kei as Key while covering the latest releases from KYLE, Blu & Exile, Drake, Oddisee and more. Lastly in the Nigga I Am Disappointed segment we decide Nick Cannon should have apologized, how far up the NBA’s ass China is and much more.Show Notes:1.https://open.spotify.com/show/5xxR2LOLrdcSaFw4GyxWfE?si=HnafZFHeR3eGAAEYxixrKA
In this episode we question why are artists fooling the people to make their Instagram Live content seem more exclusive then it truly is? Will people have to eventually pay to see celebrities' Instagram Live-streams? How many bots do these people buy? Is the industry starting to lack diversity by having artist like Mick Jenkins and Super Duper Kyle fall to the back burner? Is Philly low key blackballed from the music industry? With all the new restrictions with concerts will people even still want to attend? Will there even still be a profit made from touring for artists? --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

SORRY! WANT TO APOLOGISE IN ADVANCE FOR THE AUDIO QUALITY. BECAUSE OF TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, THERE ARE SOME PARTS OF THE AUDIO WHERE YOU MAY HEAR SOME CRACKLING NOISES OR DAVID"S VOICE SOUND LIKE DARTH VADAR. WE APOLOGISE GREATLY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. WE WILL MAKE SURE THESE PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED BEFORE THE NEXT EPISODE. SLEEPLESS NIGHTS! We start the podcast by us each discussing our recent sleeping struggles. Some of these struggles have been brought upon ourselves but others have been caused by external forces, aka your neighbours going to town on each other. Somehow we transition the conversation to the less than stellar dunk contest. Is there anything Donovan Mitchell can't do. We also talk about the 3pt contest and the projected greatness of Devin Booker. Is he the guard version of Anthony Davis, a superstar player stuck in a poor, unsuccessful organisation. From here, we conversate about Blake Griffen and not for basketball reasons. The mother of his child is seeking compensation for Griffen allegedly abandoning his family. This topic spawns wildly into an interesting talk on the notion of how marriage changes the financial dynamic of a couple even after their decision to split, ala Tiger Woods and his wife. We switch from this to gym's and how joining/start-up fees ultimately deter people from committing to a gym. The gym is not a nightclub, why do you have to pay an entry fee (joining cost) to then be able to pay to use the equipment. We close the podcast discussing survival TV shows like Man vs Wild, Naked and Afraid and River Monsters. Are these shows really legitimate or is there the implementation of 'TV magic'. SOCIAL DISCLAIMER, THIS PODCAST GETS SUPER FRIED! We start the discussion by talking about the Utah Jazz's recent run of form and how this winning streak could've made Donovan Mitchell the front runner for ROY. The conversation quickly subsides from basketball. as we start to talk about how unappealing it is to become a Doctor because of the years of education. Giving 10-12 years of your young life studying can deter people from wanting to pursue medicine as a career. We quickly get back to basketball, as for some reason we role play a situation where Terry Rozier had to do sexual favours to Danny Ainge not to get traded to Orlando. Yes. I warned you this podcast is fried. This weird sexual tangent continues as we discuss the age-old question, is giving yourself a blowjob gay or masturbation. Again, this podcast got fried hard. We close the podcast by discussing Lavar Ball's recent comments and how such could jeopardise his children's aspirations of playing in the NBA. Final note, we during our outro give a plea to the rapper SuperDuperKyle to be on a podcast when he comes to Australia. Everyone tweet to him, email him, just get his attention. Would be epic to get him on. Scoobs is the creative director at Indie-Pop and he provides creative services outside of the music industry under his brand, Scoobs Supply. Some of his work in recent years include Super Duper KYLE, G-Eazy, Carnage and more. At first he was scared to admit his passion for art but he quickly realized that people didn’t care as much as he thought and so he learned to just be himself. Born and raised in the small town of Manistee, Michigan his graduating class was only 100 people. Most would stick around, work at the local factory and spend the rest of their lives there but Scoobs wanted more. Having his supportive mother teach him that you can accomplish anything you put your mind towards as long as you were willing to work for it stuck with him. He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do but knew it had to be something creative and kept jumping on any/all opportunities. Through Twitter is was able to connect and build with people over the internet. He took the initiative to show people what he was capable of doing and it only opened up more doors for him. At one point he flew out to Los Angeles and was sleeping on a floor for two weeks. He saw the long play of what he was doing and knew he had to put in the work. After getting a taste of what LA had to offer, he graduated college and moved West knowing that it was the place he needed to be. In this episode Scoobs discusses how at some point someone will toss you the ball you just need to be ready to catch it & run with it, why design & creative direction is important today, one of the most emotional projects he’s worked on in the past, beating cancer and how he plans to incorporate this experience for 2018 and wanting to help people while doing what he loves. One of the big takeaways from this episode is to be happy & have more genuine interactions with people. We can eat healthy and exercise daily but even then our health isn’t in our control. Smile because you’re breathing and enjoy these moments. — You can follow Scoobs here: Instagram: @ScoobsSupply (https://www.instagram.com/scoobssupply/) Twitter: @ScoobsSupply (https://twitter.com/scoobssupply) Website (http://scoobs.supply) Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for new interviews (and more) weekly: http://bit.ly/2zprpon Follow us on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2hcSBws Subscribe to iTunes: http://apple.co/2yE0u9l Follow us on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2j82AHF Follow Bobbbaaaay on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2Ap24ce Twitter: http://bit.ly/2hj6Ljm
