Leapin' lizards! Everyone knows Godzilla is the King of All Monsters, but what this episode pre-supposes is... maybe he's also the King of All Media? With a new Toho Godzilla film in theaters, an American Godzilla movie coming in a few months, a Godzilla-related TV series streaming on Apple, and the big guy fighting the Justice League in the pages of DC Comics, Godzilla fans are, as they say, eating. After seeing Godzilla Minus One twice each, Jesse and lifelong Godzilla fan/expert Nathaniel sat down to talk about the overall state of the monster.
Since Christmas is on monday, we're dropping this early on friday! On today's episode of One Cross Radio, we're looking at the most recent and utterly fantastic entry to the Godzilla franchise from Toho studios, Godzilla Minus One. The film has been earning rave reviews, starting some interesting conversations about film making, and is connecting with western and mainstream audiences in ways that no prior Toho Godzilla film has. What makes it so good? How does the human story impact the film? Is it the best film Chris has seen in several years? The last answer is yes, but still tune in to find out! We'll be off for the next few weeks and be back in early-mid Jan! To those celebrating, merry Christmas and happy holidays for whichever holiday you are celebrating :) Hope you enjoy, and God bless my friends!

Boy, oh boy! This one took a minute. Chris and Tyler went to see the special theatrical release of the new Toho Godzilla film, Shin Godzilla (or Shin Gojira (not Godzilla Resurgence, it's not called that anymore)). They also went with special guest host, David Wayne Young. But after their first recording was ruined, they took Chris out Old Yeller style and decided to re-record the episode without him. This recording is still pretty bad. Great season finale, guys! Tyler tried his best, but he can't polish turds. The conversation itself isn't bad. Just the quality on David's end. They promise to get his shit sorted before having him on again. Anyway, enjoy the new episode!
