As a CYCLONE looms towards the 'Sunshine State' of the great land down under, I've got another special little solo edition of the show where I yammer on about my life this past week & a potentially incoming cyclone.I babble on about preparing for said cyclone as best we can, worrying about my art (& our new house!), a lovely catch up with the crazy talented Gabby Vines Art, maybe doing some small original art pieces for y'all in the near future & just all the things! It's one of those 'off the top of my head' rambling mess editions of the show (buyer beware!) but I had fun. It's a nice way for me to organise my thoughts & art-priorities going forwards. Take a look at your tech stack. It needs some cleaning, right? Spring is weeks away, but Daniel's already thinking about spring cleaning: decluttering your tech stack should be at the top of your list. It cuts dead weight, makes things more efficient, and saves money in general. What are you using? What are you NOT using? Take some inventory of what's going on and what you can consolidate. Plus, many teams are running multiple automation tools when you really only need one. Which one should you ditch? And, your tech stack shouldn't just work for TODAY. Think about the future. When you scale, will your stack follow? Or will you need to move to something else? What your team says about the tools also has a ton of weight on these decisions. If you're looking to clean some things up, this is the episode for YOU.
Episode 59 is here pals! Yes, I'm back after missing last week due to the general insanity of preparing for my latest solo art show (that just happened to take place LAST NIGHT) at my much-loved Scratch Bar. In this special solo episode I take you into the frantic, barely comprehendible ramblings of a wrestling-art-dude who's brain is melting by the minute. I talk all things about the lead up to this solo show. The good, the challenging & everything in-between. Take it as a snapshot of my current state of mind having finally put this 16 piece art show out into the world. All completed mostly over the past two weeks. We also had a really fun ALL-LUCHA edition of our Wrestling Club on the evening where I played some of my favourite lucha matches. I've included my intro speech and a little run-down of the playlist in question at the end of this episode.P.S. If you're in the area, please don't hesitate to come on down to Brisbane's Scratch Bar during the month of February to check out Chris Things 2025: "Los Luchadores vs Alien Invaders!"Enjoy!!ChrisThings.com.au is the place for 2025 calendars, my latest book, original art, prints & much more!Follow us on Instagram: @ChrisThings, @SocialSuplexFollow us on Twitter: @ChrisThings, @SocialSuplexLike us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SocialSuplex/Join our Discord: https://discord.gg/QUaJfaCVisit our website for news, columns, and podcasts: https://socialsuplex.com/Join the Social Suplex community Facebook Group: The Wrestling (Squared) CircleWrestling-Art with Chris Things is the Pro-Wrestling Art niche Podcast of the Social Suplex Podcast Network. Daniel's not a psychic, BUT he can help you catch marketing problems before they happen.
Let's be real: your designers are NOT mind readers. So, if you want designs that look good AND convert, you need a solid playbook. What's your goal? What's the project about? What do you want it to look like? Who even ARE you? These are the questions your brief has to answer, plus more about your intended audience and where you'll be placing things. And, you need to define success. Throw those vanity metrics out the window—be upfront about what you really want to accomplish. Plus, you have to be realistic about timing. How long does it take to make something and reformat it based on the platform? Is it relevant to what's happening in pop culture and/or your audience? Think FCA: fast, clear, actionable. The conversation begins with the evolving expectations of boardrooms, as more CEOs and senior leaders become tech-savvy. Toby shares his perspectives on the critical importance of contextual intelligence, the challenges traditional companies face in incorporating tech leaders into the board, and the influence of emerging technologies, particularly generative AI, on business models and strategy. Bryan and Toby also explore why so many strategies fail, highlighting the need for a strategic refresh and deeper board-level discussions about technology's role in long-term corporate success. Listeners will gain insights into how companies can avoid being on the wrong side of the creative destruction cycle, why technology expertise is vital at the highest levels of leadership, and how future-thinking boards can embrace technological advancements to stay competitive. This episode is essential listening for anyone interested in understanding the growing convergence of business strategy and technology leadership, particularly as we move towards a future where tech will be at the core of organisational success.
In this inaugural episode of “Beyond the Tech - Solo edition”; an expansion of our classic Beyond the Tech podcast series, Bryan is joined by Toby Eduardo Redshaw, a true titan in the technology leadership space with a fascinating career spanning multiple continents and industries. The Illusion of time, time is the measurement and or process of events. Without events being processed time is not something that exists within it's self. As humans, we control this reality based on our mindset and the state and condition it is in. By giving our attention to something, we change the very nature of that which we observe. Deju Vu is the process of physical reality, people, places, and things catching up to the quantum mind and or the subconscious mind. In this episode, I will go a step further into what we refer to as time and how we control time based on the state of our mindset.
The dream world in the physical world go hand-in-hand. The dream world can affect our reality and this physical world and the physical world. Have you ever been asleep and had to use the bathroom and then you had a dream about you using the bathroom? That is because the things we experience in this world are simulated in our dreams and vice Versa. In this episode of “The Dream World & The Physical World,” I will give a general overview of The connection between when we dream and the relationship it has with the physical world.
In this episode of Compatible Opposites 3 , we delve deeper into how each sister sign group collaborates in romantic relationships and friendships, exploring how these signs can maintain equilibrium to grow together. Sister signs, while sharing core values, manifest them in distinct ways, offering balance and insight to one another, fostering a harmonious connection. Despite facing challenges stemming from their differences, the potential for mutual development and comprehension remains significant. Each Compatible Opposites duo can cultivate a dynamic and intense relationship, with their contrasting attributes often drawing them together, sparking intrigue and stimulation. Nonetheless, conflicts arise as they navigate disparities and learn to value each other's unique qualities within the relationship.
When YouTube didn't work—did you pack up your bags and move on to Twitter? And when Twitter didn't pan out, did you pack up your bags and head to LinkedIn? Well then… maybe at some point it's time to stop asking what the channel did wrong and start looking at where you went wrong. Daniel's breaking down the top 6 things marketers get wrong when it comes to pointing the finger at different channels. What are the top things you should be looking at before packing up your bags and calling it quits? And how can you make sure you make your new relationship with any channel work? Make sure that the next time you break up with a channel that it's definitely not you—it's them. There will be many days when you can feel the excitement of reaching your dreams goals aspirations. And then there will be many days where you can feel exhausted, challenged, and feel like giving up. Water is good for you but if you drink too much at one time it can be harmful. In a life based on the principles of Duality, you want to avoid extreme but at the same time, you want to avoid really lows as well. The middle path is the best route in life. For me, this is an ongoing journey. In this episode of “The Art Of Balance,” I will create a mindset from the perspective of my Journey with balance. I create a mindful template that will assist an individual in their life with not just creating balance but maintaining it.
The Subconscious is the analogy to an operating system in a computer ( Mac, IOS, and Android. What we refer to as DNA is a biological cloud storage that records all transactions on the earth. In this episode of “ The Subconscious Mind 3” I go a step further into the depths of the power of the subconscious mind and the role it plays in our lives. In this episode, I lay out the red carpet into Telepathy: Telepathy is the natural connection/communication system between two humans, without them being in the presence of one another.
