Zwei Wochen Olympia - vorbei wie im Flug. Oder, um es gleich ins richtige Bild zu rücken, fast so schnell rum wie eine Fahrt von oben nach unten auf der Pista olimpica Eugenio Monti, wie der Eiskanal in Cortina heißt. Das Ende der Spiele hätte zudem aus deutscher Sicht packender und emotionaler kaum sein können: Am Samstag rast Laura Nolte im Zweierbob vor Landsfrau Lisa Buckwitz zu Gold. Am Sonntag der nächste Doppelsieg: Johannes Locher wird auch im Viererbob Olympiasieger vor Francesco Friedrich und feiert den krönenden Abschluss einer langen Bobkarriere. Der Wintersportpodcast „Dreierbob“ von Sächsischer Zeitung und Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND) war dabei. In dieser großen Olympia-Abschlussfolge kommen alle zu Wort. Die Sieger, die zweiten Sieger - und auch eine Lokalpolitikerin, die sich zwar über Olympia gefreut hat, aber sich jetzt Sorgen um die Zukunft ihrer Stadt macht. Im Mittelpunkt steht jedoch ein letztes Mal das Dauerduell von Bob-Dominator Friedrich und dem ewigen Zweiten Lochner, die beim großen Finale in Cortina allerdings die Rollen getauscht haben. Noch größer, noch emotionaler sind die Szenen danach im Ziel. Beide Weltklasse-Piloten herzlich Arm in Arm. Und sehr wertschätzend reden später dann auch beide übereinander am Podcast-Mikrofon. „Zum Schluss haben wir [...] hier und da was liegen lassen und dann hat Hansi einfach verdient gewonnen“, sagt Friedrich. Und Lochner findet wertschätzende Worte für seinen Dauer-Konkurrenten. Er sagt: „Francesco ist ein krasser Gewinner, aber auch ein guter Verlierer - und das respektiere ich brutal an ihm.“ Wie es für Lochner jetzt weitergeht, ist klar. Der 35-Jährige beendet seine Karriere, ist in Cortina seine letzten Bobrennen gefahren. Und seine Anschieber Thorsten Margis, mit fünf Goldmedaillen jetzt der erfolgreichste Bobfahrer bei Olympia, sowie Jörn Wenzel und Georg Fleischhauer? Sie verraten ihre Pläne ebenso im „Dreierbob“ wie auch Friedrich, der für die Zeit nach Olympia schließlich angekündigt hatte, zu überlegen, ob es und wie es weitergeht. Nun gibt es erste Tendenzen und Hinweise. Auf Cortina warten indes nun die Paralympics, die am 6. März beginnen. Und danach? Was bleibt von Winterspielen im einstigen Nobelskiort? Dass Olympische Spiele etwas besonderes sind, bedarf eigentlich keiner Erklärung. Sie finden nur alle vier Jahre statt, es treffen sich konzentriert in einer Region die besten Sportlerinnen und Sportler der Welt und eine olympische Medaille toppt sowieso alles, worum es im Sport sonst immer geht. Dennoch ist in diesen Tagen ein Satz immer wieder zu hören: „Dieses Olympia wird besonders“. Ist da was dran? Werden die Spiele, die an diesem Freitag beginnen, wirklich besonderer als besonders? Der „Dreierbob“ geht dieser Frage nach und startet - wie sollte es auch anders sein - in eine besondere Zeit. Denn der „Dreierbob“ schaut nicht nur zu, sondern er steuert mitten hinein ins olympische Geschehen. Tino Meyer, Sportchef bei der Sächsischen Zeitung, reist nach Cortina d'Ampezzo. Im Gepäck hat er neue Schuhe (Anm. d. Red.: Das ist ein Running Gag, hören Sie einfach regelmäßig den Podcast), ein Mikrofon und einen klaren Plan: ganz nah ran an die deutschen Athletinnen und Athleten kommen, Stimmen sammeln und mit Co-Host Fabian Deicke regelmäßig im Podcast alles besprechen, auswerten und diskutieren.
