Adams story is quite unique having originally served in the British SAS on deployments to Bosnia & Afghanistan before later taking part in the British Army's Everest expedition team as base camp manager. Later a series of life events found him in Melbourne Australia where he linked up with the ADF's 1st Commando Regiment (1CDO) before lateral transferring and deploying back to Afghanistan as a team commander. My conversation with Adam traces his journey from a humble beginning on the streets of Belfast to being neck deep in combat and accepting that death was only minutes away as a numerically superior enemy closed in on his teams position and the odd clarity and calmness he felt. This conversation was riveting, thought provoking and just thoroughly entertaining! Enjoy the show...
