Listeners of Just Listen to Yourself with Kira Davis that love the show mention: thank you kira, interview with dan, dan bongino show,The Just Listen to Yourself with Kira Davis podcast is a thought-provoking and engaging show that has opened my mind to new perspectives on politics, culture, and life. Kira Davis is a wise woman with a great sense of humor, making her discussions both informative and entertaining. Her faith shines through in her joyful and contagious manner, which adds depth and authenticity to her messages.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Kira's ability to spark critical thinking and introspection. She uses her own experiences and opinions to challenge listeners to examine their beliefs before engaging in heated debates or discussions. This approach is humbling and encourages personal growth.
Kira's perspectives are always interesting and make me reflect on how I perceive my own life and the world around me. She presents her ideas in a clear and eloquent manner, making complex topics easier to understand. I appreciate that she tackles controversial subjects like the death penalty and feminism, offering nuanced viewpoints that encourage listeners to think critically.
However, one downside of the podcast is that it may not appeal to those who have already made up their minds about everything. Kira has a knack for challenging entrenched beliefs and idolizing figures or concepts, which may unsettle some listeners who are resistant to change or self-reflection. Nevertheless, I believe this aspect of the podcast is one of its strengths as it prompts intellectual growth.
Overall, The Just Listen to Yourself with Kira Davis podcast is a breath of fresh air in the current political climate. It offers thoughtful insights, challenges preconceived notions, and promotes open-mindedness. Whether you agree or disagree with Kira's viewpoints, her willingness to learn, empathize, educate, and push boundaries is what America needs right now. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone seeking intellectual stimulation and perspective on important issues.
Dr. Joe Rigney joins Kira to talk about empathy - what is it, why is it so destructive and how have we misunderstood it both in the church and society in general? Rigney discusses his new book, “The Sin of Empathy,” and why we need to “sober-minded” rather than peddlers of pity. “The main virtue that I commend is sober-mindedness. This is, another biblical term. And if you think about what does the word sober-minded mean, well, normally you think of sober in terms of drunkenness and alcohol, right? If you get drunk on alcohol, you're not sober, and so you need to sober up. The basic biblical claim then is you can be drunk on more than just alcohol.”Rigney is Fellow of Theology at New Saint Andrews College. He lives in Moscow, ID with his wife and three sons. This week Kira takes on the controversial Texas stabbing that has ignited yet another race war in the media. Motivations of the case aside, Kira explores some deeper questions: Where are all our Black male leaders and what exactly are we normalizing in our own community? How does this case underscore a larger issue within the Black American community? What are our responsibilities to ourselves and the bridging of the racial divide? What would happen if we changed how we communicated our priorities? This isn't an episode about who Kira thinks is right or wrong in this case. This is an episode about what Kira thinks is right and wrong about how we're addressing this case.
Kira welcomes Fox News contributor and author Steve Hilton to the show to talk about his new book 'Califailure' and the disaster that is California. Can it be fixed? Kira delivers a dire warning to Americans - We are at war. Get on a war footing or be prepared to lose more battles. Peace through strength is for you too.
America is currently in the throes of a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS. California counted 5,000,000 ineligible votes in 2024. Other states across the nation are also certifying uncertifiable elections. The law is clear, and it is clearly being broken in many places, leading to questionable election results and a loss of trust by the public in our electoral system. Marly Hornick of United Sovereign America joins the show to discuss her groups meticulous voting research and findings, and how we can fix our electoral system and restore trust in the process. In this episode, Kira Davis the recent Signalgate controversy, emphasizing the importance of discernment in political discourse. She explores the implications of the incident, critiques the reactions from both sides of the political spectrum, and calls for a more nuanced understanding of political events.
Kira listened to CA Governor Gavin Newsom's new podcast so you don't have to. Some people are worried about conservatives platforming a radical leftist with aims at the White House. Some others are worried about their progressive hero rubbing elbows with conservative influencers. Is the podcast any good? Is it a threat to Republicans or a threat to Gavin himself?
In 2022, parent-candidate Madison Miner won a spot on the Orange Unified School District school board, defeating a 20 year incumbent. A year later, she and another conservative board member were recalled by a massive union campaign. The district then proceeded to approve a nearly 10% pay raise for teachers. Shady, but not illegal. Unless...In recent months, Miner and others have uncovered an adulterous affair between school board President Ana Page and the president of the teachers union (OUEA) Greg Goodlander. Goodlander has since stepped down from his position, but the situation leaves parents asking - how long has this been going on and was there any conflict of interest during the pay raise negotiations? BTW, this pay raise will effectively bankrupt the district, per their own superintendent. Public records requests have been sent out. Miner joins the show to ask (and answer) some important questions. Across America, union-controlled school boards depend on being invisible to enact shady policy and conduct intimidation campaigns against concerned parents. Even if this isn't your district, this story affects every district. If this is happening in one place, it's surely happening in others. In order to fix the system, we must expose corruption at every level. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. send tips on this story to jlty@protonmail.com

Fox Sports babe Joy Taylor is in a lot of hot water after a lawsuit alleged she slept with cohosts and Fox executives for promotions, saying she would accuse one executive of rape once she was finished with him. The cliche of a woman sleeping her way to the top is based in some reality, but how much? Kira thinks through the ethics of femininity and sex in the workplace.
Kira wants everyone to know she and her family are a safe distance from the LA wildfires and her LA friends are all safe, although some have lost homes and pets. While the city and state let LA burn and the hydrants run dry, Gavin newsom decided his best move was to go on a podcast to defend himself, even as people were still dying in the fires on Friday. Kira listened to it and she breaks it all down.

“Religion in Politics” is the title of a Thanksgiving Day sermon delivered by Dr. Charles Wadsworth to his Philadelphia congregation in 1853. Although delivered over 170 years ago, this beautiful sermon carries shocking relevance in 2024, particularly after this contentious election. Wadsworth aims his fire in particular towards Christians who balk at the idea of being too involved in politics. Wadsworth's take on “Render unto Caesar…” is a stunning admonition of modern Christians and a beautiful reminder of why our national day of thanks to God for the blessings of liberty is so vital to the health of not just our great nation, but the entire world. Kira breaks down a particularly cope-y article from Dr. Russell Moore of Christianity Today. “How to Get Through the Next Four Years” is a riveting journey through the forest of coping, past the pond of liberal tears, all the while skirting the cliffsides of victimhood.
