In the 20th century, Hitler launched an attempt to annihilate the Jewish people. He died, and Germany lost World War II.There have been many more examples of enmity toward the Jews throughout history and yet the Jewish people continue to survive and even prosper.Anti-Israel, anti-Jewish hostility is inspired by Satan. How so? Satan is driven to thwart God's plan. So to exterminate the Jews before the coming of Jesus Christ, Himself a Jew, would be to foil God's promise of a Savior. To destroy Israel now would be to derail God's promise to save Israel and the return of Christ.Fundamentally, the lack of peace in the Middle East is about Israel's neighbors open hostility toward the Jewish people's presence. The Jews did not take back Israel through force of arms in 1948 but through declarations by Britain and the United Nations. No matter, the newly established State of Israel was attacked immediately by her Arab neighbors.This helps explain why Iran and its proxies across the Middle East, like Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, who although holding differing Islamic beliefs, are united by an unquenchable hatred and motive to destroy Israel.But it's not just the Middle East. The spiritual contagion of enmity toward the Jews and Israel has infected many in the West. The political and theological left, which are basically one and the same, are characterized by this. But what is troubling is that the political and theological right (i.e. conservatives) are succumbing as well. Notable influencers like Tucker Carlson, Candance Owens, and Nick Fuentes, along with many others, openly and loudly deride Israel and the Jews, asserting:The modern-day people in Israel aren't JewsThe Jews control America and the U.S. does Israel's bidding in the Middle EastThe Jews are the great corruptors in the world and seek global dominionIsrael is a genocidal oppressorEven if there was any truth to these defamations, none of it would cancel God's unbreakable promise: “God has not rejected His people, has He? In early February, clips began circulating from Trump's Religious Liberty Commission hearing, where the former Miss California Carrie Prejean Boller challenged Jewish activists Yitzhak Frankel and Shabbos Kestenbaum about the killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the conflation of anti-Zionism and antisemitism. Notably, Prejean Boller framed her opposition to political Zionism in terms of her Catholicism: “I'm a Catholic and Catholics do not embrace Zionism,” she said. She raised the charge of deicide, reading the New Testament verse about the Jews killing Jesus and questioning a panelist about whether he would have tech platforms censor the Bible on account of antisemitism claims. And she challenged the theology undergirding evangelical support for Zionism, dispensationalism, which understands Jews as God's chosen people that help fulfill the end times prophecy by settling in the land of Israel. A number of prominent “America First” isolationists are Catholic, including Pat Buchanan, one of the fathers of America First paleoconservatism who famously opposed the Iraq War. Vice President J.D. Vance, Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts, far-right strategist Steve Bannon, and columnist Sohrab Ahmari are all America Firsters skeptical of foreign intervention. Catholicism also appears dominant among a cohort of extremist Groyper-style figures infusing their anti-Israel worldview with classically antisemitic language and ideas, including streamers Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens, the Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback, and now Prejean Boller, who has aligned herself with Owens in particular. President Donald Trump won multiple elections thanks to support from the Maga movement - but cracks have begun to emerge in the broad coalition of America's political right. The schism first emerged online as Maga supporters-turned-detractors began to criticise President Trump, saying he has failed to deliver on campaign promises they voted for. Maga congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene - once one of President Trump's most vocal supporters - quit Congress last year after becoming increasingly critical of the president over issues such as continued US involvement in foreign wars, the failure to tackle the cost of living in America - and failure to release all of the FBI's files on the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. But two months prior to her quitting, it was the murder of conservative influencer, Charlie Kirk, which really sent a shockwave through the movement. A power vacuum at the top has been filled by some curious characters, as other activists have fought for control of the space Kirk once dominated. And when former Fox News host Tucker Carlson - perhaps the most influential thought leader in conservative America - invited Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes onto his podcast, a vicious debate kicked off which continues to this day. Some Maga influencers say they'll welcome anyone into the fold, but more mainstream Republicans continue to call for the rejection of these elements - and are concerned they could cost the party votes in November's midterm elections. A FIFTH COLUMN of conservative influencers is fracturing the base of support for President Trump by pushing ideas from the man called “Putin's brain.”  Aleksandr Dugin had hoped President Trump would lead the United States into a multipolar world. Instead, Trump's willingness to use the United States military to achieve specific goals in Iran, namely, regime change and the prevention of the Islamic Republic obtaining nuclear weapons, has shattered that vision.  Meanwhile, podcasters like Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, and others are, whether they realize it or not, pushing Dugin's worldview on their viewers—specifically, a philosophy that blames Zionists for all of the world's evils. Candace Owens has gone so far as to call for active duty military personnel to leave their posts rather than die for Israel. The contention by the four mentioned above is that war with Iran was pushed on President Trump by Benjamin Netanyahu and Zionists within his cabinet.  It remains to be seen whether the Iranian people throw off the fundamentalist Islamic regime. If this happens, it not only changes the face of the Middle East, but it strikes a blow at the energy security of China – something that was already seriously affected by the removal of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.  Also: islamists now control the United Kingdom. In November 2025, Rod Dreher published an essay in the Free Press, based on an earlier Substack post he'd written, about anti-Semitism on the American right. Dreher had just returned from Washington, where he'd spent several days speaking with young conservatives working in think tanks and in government. What he discovered was that a significant portion of young men on the right, perhaps as many as 30 or 40 percent, expressed sympathy for Nick Fuentes, the white-supremacist podcaster who denies the Holocaust and openly attacks Jewish institutions and Jewish people. The trigger for Dreher's reporting was an interview of Fuentes in late October by another media personality, Tucker Carlson. Having watched that interview, Dreher witnessed what he called a Rubicon-crossing moment: the most influential conservative media figure in America giving a remarkably soft platform to someone who has praised Hitler and has made all manner of psychotic claims about the Jewish people. Dreher had considered Carlson a friend. That friendship ended when he called him out over the Fuentes interview. Dreher's voice is particularly important because he speaks from deep within the world of American Christian conservatism. He is the author of The Benedict Option, a defining text for thinking about Christian cultural withdrawal, published in 2017. He has also written extensively about his own conversion to Orthodoxy, and has spent much of his career reporting on the institutional health of American Christianity. So when he sounds an alarm, as he does in this conversation with Mosaic's editor Jonathan Silver, about anti-Semitism spreading among young Christian conservatives, Jews should listen. This conversation was recorded in December, with Dreher in Budapest, where he now lives. President Trump and the GOP are in a growing panic over ICE. Trump's advisers are sinking into recriminations. Republican officials are publicly admitting that his immigration agenda “seems to be not working” and that the GOP is “losing” the political battle over it. Others are suggesting that Alex Pretti's killing was “murder” and that it's time to “recalibrate.” Yet MAGA figures are pulling in the other direction. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, ICE is the frontline protector against anarchy and civil society's destruction. The Democratic Party hates and seeks to destroy America by altering demographics through massive illegal immigration, including tens of millions of aliens and betting the Supreme Court won't properly rule on birthright citizenship. Democrats view immigration as a revolution, importing ideologies incompatible with Americanism, the Constitution, and rule of law, refusing assimilation in favor of conquest. Sanctuary cities and states shield these revolutionaries, creating segregated enclaves akin to a new form of segregation pushed by Democrats frustrated that the current citizenry won't align with their agenda, ultimately threatening all Americans. Also, Iran is one, big concentration camp. The Iranian regime is not hanging people because they are shooting them. Summary executions are, in fact, going on right now.  They are wiping out a generation of young people because they dared to want what young people in our country want -- freedom.  The lights are out and communications still cut off for a reason.  So, the rest of us cannot witness the genocide and atrocities that are taking place.  Hence, the Western media are losing interest and focus, as are a growing number of politicians.  But enough information is leaking out proving that the Iranian regime is an ongoing killing machine and the country is a killing field.
