She's not alone. MAGA has increasingly found a warm place in its heart for Vladimir Putin and other strongman dictator-types (like Viktor Orban). Owens rubbed shoulders with accused sex traffickers, the Tate Brothers, fake martial artist and aging film star, Steven Segall, Trump's head of the Commission of Fine Arts, and representatives of the Taliban, North Korea, Iran, and China. In this reimagining of Russia—the same “evil empire” of GOP patron saint, Ronald Reagan—the post-Soviet dictatorship is poo-pooed as a danger to European democracies by a growing cadre on the right. Figures like Owens, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Tim Pool, Nick Fuentes, and Marjorie Taylor Green all oppose US support for Ukraine and involvement in the war in Iran. In another interesting turn, they now also all oppose US support for Israel—which makes for some strange diagonalist bedfellows with certain figures on the left, like Hasan Piker.  Julian unpacks this story. This week on the Mark Levin Show, Rep, Thomas Massie must be defeated in Tuesday's election. Massie is backed by Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rashida Tlaib, and the ACLU. Later, Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner is a profoundly disturbed individual whom Democrats refuse to disavow because they prioritize power above all else. Platner, who's a self-described Communist, trashes American troops and police and he must be stopped from reaching the Senate. The Iranian regime has no intention of honoring any deal. They view negotiations merely as opportunities to delay while pursuing their goal of conquering and converting others through violence, as they believe Allah commands. Over the last eight years, streamer and leftist political commentator Hasan Piker has built a following of millions on Twitch, where he streams seven to ten hours a day, discussing current events and interacting with followers in a rapid-fire chat. Lately, Piker, who has hit the campaign trail for Democratic candidates like Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, has become the object of a raging debate about the direction of the Democratic Party. For many progressives, establishment attacks on Piker and the candidates he supports are evidence that the party is out of touch with its base, especially young people. For the establishment, embrace of Piker by Israel-critical candidates is evidence that the party is becoming too radical. A recent op-ed in The Wall Street Journal by leaders of the centrist think tank Third Way labeled Piker a “Jew hater,” and urged Democrats to denounce him. The irony is that Piker, who appeals to exactly the sorts of young men who are being lured to the right in large numbers by the “manosphere,” is unique in how often he speaks about the principled fight against antisemitism. As figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Nick Fuentes become more prominent in the pro-Palestine digital ecosystem, Piker may be one of the most important figures on the left countering a simplistic narrative of Jewish control and American innocence. He'd be sitting across from Tim Dillon talking about genocide, and Israel and the Jews. He'd fly up to Maine, have dinner with Tucker, maybe sit in the sauna, and then have a lengthy interview about how much they love dogs, and then talk about how World War II was the fault of the Jews. He'd be at Theo Von's Easter party with his arm around Brett Cooper and Candace Owens, smiling and happy on such a beautiful day. To be hated is to be cool. They're all cool, you're not cool if you worry about Hitler having a podcast. You're only cool if you are okay with Hitler. If you laugh and giggle and say he really has a point, you know. The moral decay and foundational rot at the heart of America's collapsing cultural empire were on full display at the Met Gala, seemingly punctuating America's decline, Weimar-style. Hitler reacted to that era with revulsion, presenting himself as a puritanical moralist who never sold the image of being a ladies' man or even having a wife. Nick Fuentes claims to be a virgin in a society ruled by intolerable women who won't give him the time of day. The Left is leaning into violence, assassinations, and targeted attacks on Jews, spiking in recent years. If Hitler had a podcast, he would adopt Hasan Piker's ideology that Hamas is the real hero in this story. There was a time when podcasts felt like freedom. Anyone could say anything they wanted, but by the time it got to accusing a widow of having a hand in murdering her husband, because Israel wanted to go to war with Iran, it seems they've jumped the shark. If Hitler had a podcast, he'd have to somehow top it. And that is how we got here, where all of them are competing for those eyeballs who have nothing better to do than to watch the world burn. Thankfully, on the right, there are leaders who offer an alternative vision for young Americans. Charlie Kirk was the most influential of them, guiding his young viewers toward faith, family, and purpose.
