ICE failed in its operation in Minnesota because the people would not bend to their terror campaign. Minneapolis residents also maintained incredible discipline in their resistance and totally let Trump down by keeping a check on any potential riotous behavior. Meanwhile, the El Paso airport closure shows the administration's continuing communication problems, and Bondi's performance before the House Oversight Committee was so over-the-top bad, it's even getting panned on the right. Plus, Bongino is a con artist and a loser, the Dems have an increasing number of pickup opportunities in red states, Nick Fuentes of all people is providing a little clarity on the state of Republicans, and exactly how many pardoned J6 insurrectionists have gone on to commit child sex abuse? In this episode, Nick Fuentes offers a critical analysis of Donald Trump's political journey, contrasting his 2016 and 2024 campaigns. The discussion delves into Trump's initial appeal as an anti-establishment figure and his eventual shift towards mainstream GOP practices, influenced by financial backers and political consultants. The conversation covers the impact of Trump's policies, his ideological inconsistencies, and debates around key issues such as immigration, foreign policy, and abortion. The video also reflects on the broader implications for the Republican base and the future of America's political landscape.SPONSORSGoldenCrest - Protect your retirement with precious metals - https://GoldSilverMatch.comNicNac - Premium nicotine lozenges made in USA - Use code JOEL20! for 20% off at https://www.nicnac.com/discount/joel20!/Go to https://nutricel.store/pages/nxr and use code NXR to try Blue Boost and save 15% today.SUPPORT THE SHOWContent That Conquers. Last episode, we talked about the brewing conflict between what currently passes for mainstream conservatism and the schizophrenic reactionary Groyper politics of Nick Fuentes. Subscribe on Patreon to support making this show, get premium only episodes, and listen to our entire back catalog. patreon.com/wetwired We wrapped things up with the idea that conservatism has never really bothered to conserve anything. Aside from a few exceptions, most of the time they keep themselves busy fighting culture wars about immigration, civil rights, women's rights, Christianity, and demonizing organized labor. What they keep trying to “conserve” is whatever the status quo power dynamic was when their grandad was a kid. After the Civil War, they wanted slavery back. Women's suffrage, desegregation—they wanted to get rid of all those things. This isn't the first fight inside conservatism. As part of its periodic reinvention of itself, conservatives have gone back to the political well and dredged up the same slogans more than once. We tied this malleable idea of conservatism in with the evolution of the field of unashamed ideological political economists into what we now think of as the pseudoscience of Economics. At least the political economists were up front about whatever ideological bent they had. If you were a socialist, you'd start with your convictions about socialism being the absolute best way of running society on offer, and they work to come up with an economic theory or plan that made it seem possible. It was honest. By the time the 1800s were wrapping up, that wasn't good enough. Economists wanted to be taken more seriously, so they started dressing the whole thing up like they were doing physics or pure math. They could talk about whatever economic system as if they were describing the laws of nature. That didn't get rid of the ideology, though. It just buried it under metric tons of academic jargon and complicated formulas. After all, what's the difference between modeling a tsunami and a stock market crash? The answer is that the tsunami wasn't caused by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. That all brings us around to FDR's New Deal and the era of John Maynard Keynes and what Matt Christman has called his "Keynesian machine for dispensing treats". As many contradictions as Keynes gathered into his economic model, it remains the only proven way to maintain capitalism. To set the tone, David Talbot has a quote in his book The Devil's Chessboard about Bertie Pell, a friend of FDR's who Talbot described as a “full-on traitor to his class”. “I am almost the last capitalist who is willing to be saved by you,” Pell wrote Roosevelt in 1936 in a letter beseeching the president to draft him for the New Deal cause. The following year, Pell wrote again, praising FDR's accomplishments: “Your administration has made possible the continuance of American institutions for at least fifty years. You have done for the government what St. Francis did for the Catholic Church. You have brought it back to the people.” It turns out Pell was eerily correct. Those institutions managed to last just a little longer than 50 years. They are about gone now, though. Our long promised merch is here!! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Welcome to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu! In this episode, Tom Bilyeu and co-host Drew dive into the wild swings shaking up the markets, from a massive selloff in sectors like gold, crypto, and AI to fears of recession and the ever-intriguing Fed policy news. They break down how rapidly advancing AI is upending both the software industry and investor expectations, and discuss whether the so-called “AI bubble” is finally popping. But it wouldn't be Impact Theory without a trip through Conspiracy Corner: Tom Bilyeu and Drew unpack the latest twists in the Epstein saga—including mysterious surveillance footage, questionable lottery wins, and strange activity on his Fortnite account—all while questioning the reliability of “official narratives.” With the Clintons preparing to testify publicly and Ghislaine Maxwell set to appear before Congress, they explore what true transparency might look like—and whether America is ready to confront the full scope of institutional corruption. Finally, special guest Nick Fuentes joins the conversation to share his take on political outrage, voter apathy, and the long-term impact of the Epstein files on American politics. The episode wraps up with a candid reflection on the state of the American dream and the importance of individual skills in an uncertain society. If you're ready for spirited debate, market insights, and a deep-dive into the rabbit hole of the week's biggest conspiracies, this is one episode you won't want to miss. Finally, an episode about Tucker Carlson—and at an auspicious time, as his influence on the right seems only to have grown in the first year of Trump's second term. To help us understand him, we turned to journalist Jason Zengerle, who first crossed paths with Tucker in the last, halcyon days of magazine journalism before cable news and the internet, and now has written Hated By All the Right People, a book that tells two intertwined stories: the life of Tucker Carlson, and the changes in the media that he's navigated so deftly (despite some low points along the way). This conversation takes you from his adolescence to his early fame writing for The Weekly Standard and Talk to his recent interview with Nick Fuentes, and all the phases and stages of Tucker's sad trajectory toward anti-semitism and conspiracy-mongering.Sources:Jason Zengerle, Hated By All the Right People: Tucker Carlson and the Unraveling of the Conservative Mind (2026)Andrew Marantz, "The Tucker Carlson Roadshow," New Yorker, Nov 1, 2024...and don't forget to subscribe to Know Your Enemy on Patreon for access to all of our bonus episodes!
How can we have too much free speech? And should everyone have access to large platforms to express increasingly outrageous and unbridled opinions? That was what I was asking in this conversation in the context of the infamous Tucker Carlson interview with avowed Nazi sympathizer Nick Fuentes. Why platform him and extend his audience four times beyond what he otherwise would have? And given that the emotional fragility of many in this moment might incite someone listening to act out in some manner? And while my guest, Dr. Chloe Carmichael, a clinical psychologist, and author of “Can I Say That” finds his remarks detestable, as well, she holds the view that free expression, when suppressed, leads to greater psychological problems in the process. It’s an interesting discussion. I paraphrase a lawyer who questioned Sen. Joseph McCarthy, during his Red Scare moment, in the 1950’s asking the question ‘have you no decency, sir.’ The lack of civility and restraint now occupies the speaker’s corner in America and in an era of social media the amplification of it is very loud and unsettling. And while the First Amendment is often cited as giving me the right to say anything I want, it refers specifically to the government’s inability to suppress that speech. Your employer can do it. Owners of professional teams can throw you out of the stadium for being obnoxious. Perhaps mom had the right idea. If you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all. Mr. President, are you listening?
On this episode Razib talks to Jesse Arm, VP of external affairs at the Manhattan Institute. His writing and commentary have appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, New York Post, Fox News, City Journal and Jerusalem Post. Arm graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, where he majored in international political economy, and studied language and international affairs at Tel Aviv University. He has also worked for Senator Tom Cotton and Representative Dan Benishek, and the analytics arm of American Continental Group, a major lobbying firm. Razib and Arm discuss the perceptions and attitudes of Gen Z Republicans, focusing on a group of 18-29-year-olds in Nashville, TN. Arm notes that while Gen Z feels economic anxiety, they are also entrepreneurial and comfortable with the world of social media. Gen Z Republicans are religious, like previous generations, but less likely to be married or have long-term partners at the same age as earlier cohorts. They express a desire for politics to be entertaining, similar to reality TV. The conversation also touches on the influence of social media on their views, the power of influencers like Nick Fuentes, and the potential for future political figures to emerge from the creator class. Arm also addresses the impact of intergenerational wealth transfer on political attitudes.

We dig into the collapse of New Atheism, the move from reason to “spirit,” why Jordan Peterson landed when he did, and how religion and politics are re-emerging as answers to a modern crisis of meaning. Along the way we talk Marx, “events” like 9/11 that fracture shared narratives, and why capitalism keeps generating contradictions it cannot metabolize. In the Backroom (Patreon exclusive), we go further into the global right-wing shift, the return of suppressed contradictions liberals and leftists avoid, and figures like Nick Fuentes for Part 2. In Part 3 (also on Patreon only), we then discuss the idea of “Nationalist Internationalism,” arguing that genuine international cooperation requires strong sovereign nations first, and that real internationalism has to pass through nationalism rather than cosmopolitan globalism.Timestamps:00:00:00 Nationalist Internationalism (The Backroom Preview)00:04:01 The Conservative Zeitgeist00:08:55 New Atheism's Rise and Fall00:11:20 Jordan Peterson vs Sam Harris and the religion comeback00:15:23 Why Marx's critique of religion is wrong00:26:18 “Events” and the collapse of shared narratives00:33:02 9/11, New Age mysticism, and the hunger for meaning00:38:37 The Cultural Contradictions of Capitalism00:43:43 Badiou: truth procedures and politics-as-religion01:08:29 Religion vs science, the knowledge problem01:20:22 God, Religion, and ideology01:45:08 Backroom preview (Patreon): global right shift, Nick Fuentes, nationalist internationalismGUEST:Dr. Cadell Last (Philosophy Portal)• Philosophy Portal (YouTube): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCtCqYQFPhnU1OnHPveEnYw• Philosophy Portal (Site): https://philosophyportal.online/about• Cadell's Website: https://cadelllast.com/• X/Twitter: https://x.com/cadellnlastFOLLOW 1Dime:• Substack: https://1dimereview.substack.com/• X/Twitter: https://x.com/1DimeOfficial• Instagram: instagram.com/1dimeman• Check out my main channel videos: https://www.youtube.com/@1DimeeLeave a like, drop a comment, and give the show a 5-star rating on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you listen to this.Tags: #1DimeRadio #CadellLast #PhilosophyPortal #Religion #NewAtheism #JordanPeterson #PoliticalPhilosophy #Globalism #Nationalism #Internationalism #Conservatism #RightWingShift
In November 2025, Rod Dreher published an essay in the Free Press, based on an earlier Substack post he'd written, about anti-Semitism on the American right. Dreher had just returned from Washington, where he'd spent several days speaking with young conservatives working in think tanks and in government. What he discovered was that a significant portion of young men on the right, perhaps as many as 30 or 40 percent, expressed sympathy for Nick Fuentes, the white-supremacist podcaster who denies the Holocaust and openly attacks Jewish institutions and Jewish people. The trigger for Dreher's reporting was an interview of Fuentes in late October by another media personality, Tucker Carlson. Having watched that interview, Dreher witnessed what he called a Rubicon-crossing moment: the most influential conservative media figure in America giving a remarkably soft platform to someone who has praised Hitler and has made all manner of psychotic claims about the Jewish people. Dreher had considered Carlson a friend. That friendship ended when he called him out over the Fuentes interview. Dreher's voice is particularly important because he speaks from deep within the world of American Christian conservatism. He is the author of The Benedict Option, a defining text for thinking about Christian cultural withdrawal, published in 2017. He has also written extensively about his own conversion to Orthodoxy, and has spent much of his career reporting on the institutional health of American Christianity. So when he sounds an alarm, as he does in this conversation with Mosaic's editor Jonathan Silver, about anti-Semitism spreading among young Christian conservatives, Jews should listen. This conversation was recorded in December, with Dreher in Budapest, where he now lives. The Jeffrey Epstein saga is undoubtedly one of the biggest scandals in modern history. Many VIP men are now being humbled by lurid details about their relationship with a convicted sex offender, and claims about their own behaviour with his victims. Too few have faced real consequences - yet - but the public is in no mood to draw a line and move on. A reasonable person might think that Andrew Tate is the last person to be moralizing on all of this. He's fought damning allegations about his own conduct with women in multiple countries for several years. And that - he says - is precisely the problem. He joins Piers Morgan to discuss this, plus his night out with Nick Fuentes and Sneako... The ground is definitely shifting in the conservative base. From the Republican staffers who had their private texts between each other leaked revealing A LOT of racist messages to Nick Fuentes showing up on one mainstream conservative show after another, it's obvious that many Republicans are becoming more openly sympathetic to the racist Groyper ideas. This is a sample of a premium episode. Recorded on January 29, 2026Greg in this solo recording focuses on the reactions of Nick Fuentes and Alex Jones to the killing of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and how they both represent a desire for even more escalation, Jones doing so expressing support for Trump, and Fuentes doing so as a "critic." Greg also touches on Tucker Carlson vs Ben Shapiro which took center stage at last month's Turning Point USA Conference.
President Trump and the GOP are in a growing panic over ICE. Trump's advisers are sinking into recriminations. Republican officials are publicly admitting that his immigration agenda “seems to be not working” and that the GOP is “losing” the political battle over it. Others are suggesting that Alex Pretti's killing was “murder” and that it's time to “recalibrate.” Yet MAGA figures are pulling in the other direction. Media Matters has a good roundup: Many are urging Trump to escalate, with white supremacist Nick Fuentes labeling Pretti a “race traitor.” MAGA doesn't want to let the GOP even appear to moderate. We talked to Jennifer Rubin, editor-in-chief of The Contrarian, who has a new piece urging Democrats to seize this moment. We discuss how MAGA's white nationalism has landed “moderate” Republicans in a trap, why this provides an opening to divide the Trump coalition, and what Democrats can do to demonstrate that they side with the American people against Trump-MAGA's violent lawlessness. Tucker Carlson has long been a standard-bearer for far-right views, such as the racist conspiracy theory known as the “great replacement.” He recently did a chatty interview with the white supremacist Nick Fuentes, an admirer of Hitler. And yet, Carlson started out as a respected, well-connected, albeit contrarian, political journalist. Jason Zengerle, who recently joined The New Yorker as a staff writer, talks with David Remnick about his new book, “Hated by All the Right People: Tucker Carlson and the Unraveling of the Conservative Mind.” They trace how Carlson's sense of personal resentment toward the establishment grew; how launching his own website radicalized his politics in the years before MAGA; and his political ambitions as a potential heir to Donald Trump. “I think, if Tucker Carlson concludes that J. D. Vance can't get elected President, maybe he has to do it himself,” Zengerle says. “So much of politics now is just being a media figure and being an entertainer. And Tucker does those things very well. . . . I think our politics are at a place where that really doesn't seem as outrageous as it would have even just a couple years ago.” New episodes of The New Yorker Radio Hour drop every Tuesday and Friday. Join host David Remnick as he discusses the latest in politics, news, and current events in conversation with political leaders, newsmakers, innovators, New Yorker staff writers, authors, actors, and musicians.
[Black metal voice] KRRRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!It's time for something cringe! No, it's not wearing corpse paint. It's far worse: Nick Fuentes, the Tate Brothers, Clavicular, Sneako, the ever insufferable Myron Gaines and a list of random orbiters infested a Miami Beach club to bang Ye's pro-Hitler rap anthem. Jared and Mike talk about that bullshit, alongside Fuentes' alleged monster deal to hawk gold, and his new pivot to Jeffrey Epstein apologia. The hosts also talk about “Nick Sordid,” the new Andy Ngo in town and why he sounds palpably unhinged. And, finally, Mike presents to the class on the genre of black metal, with an emphasis on the Norwegian variation of it. Jared doesn't like it but he learns something new. That has to be worth at least seven figures, don't you think?Unlock this episode by signing up for our Patreon: https://patreon.com/PostingThroughIt

On Friday's Mark Levin Show, ICE is the frontline protector against anarchy and civil society's destruction. The Democratic Party hates and seeks to destroy America by altering demographics through massive illegal immigration, including tens of millions of aliens and betting the Supreme Court won't properly rule on birthright citizenship. Democrats view immigration as a revolution, importing ideologies incompatible with Americanism, the Constitution, and rule of law, refusing assimilation in favor of conquest. Sanctuary cities and states shield these revolutionaries, creating segregated enclaves akin to a new form of segregation pushed by Democrats frustrated that the current citizenry won't align with their agenda, ultimately threatening all Americans. Also, Iran is one, big concentration camp. The Iranian regime is not hanging people because they are shooting them. Summary executions are, in fact, going on right now. They are wiping out a generation of young people because they dared to want what young people in our country want -- freedom. The lights are out and communications still cut off for a reason. So, the rest of us cannot witness the genocide and atrocities that are taking place. Hence, the Western media are losing interest and focus, as are a growing number of politicians. But enough information is leaking out proving that the Iranian regime is an ongoing killing machine and the country is a killing field. Later, Mark Meckler from Convention of States, calls in and confirms that Kansas is on the precipice of becoming the 20th state to pass it. They need 34 states total, leaving 14 more. He also discusses the antisemitism from former friends like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Nick Fuentes. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, the young people in Iran are freedom fighters battling a genocidal regime and abandoning them worsens global threats like those from communist China, ultimately harming the United States. Regimes such as Iran, China, Cuba, and North Korea are fascistic feudal systems masquerading as people's revolutions, fueled by fraudulent ideologies like Marxism, socialism, and communism. There's a noticeable absence of U.S. protests by Marxist-Islamists and woke neo-fascists in support of the thousands slaughtered in Iran, despite their professed concern for rights. Also, the Democrats have militarized their various constituent groups again, in support of the illegal alien stampede they created under the Biden regime, because they know that to break the immigration enforcement system is to change the country forever and to establish one-party Democrat Party control over our country for as far as the eye can see. Illegal immigration and the importation of millions of people from all parts of the world who have no intention of assimilating into our country and who seek to impose their own cultures on the citizenry is already causing enormous havoc and societal unrest. And the Democrat Party is all in. It is the most unconscionable assault on our nation since the Confederate Democrats dragged our country into a civil war. The battles in our streets between ICE and the mobs are battles for the survival of our Republic. Later, the 19-year-old who set fire Congregation Beth Israel referred to it as the "Synagogue of Satan"—an anti-Semitic phrase used by figures like Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens. People like Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Megyn Kelly, and others use inflammatory language that incites violence against Jews. Afterward, the Supreme Court should know that Trump imposed 25% tariffs on countries doing business with Iran solely for national security and foreign policy reasons, not economic or tax purposes, and that such decisions belong to the President as Commander-in-Chief, not judges or bureaucrats. The Court needs to reverse the lower court rulings and avoid involvement because judicial interference would disrupt historical presidential actions, blur the power of the purse from executive authority, and create havoc in the economy, international trade, foreign policy, and national security through inconsistent rulings from egomaniacal lower court judges.
