That's also where we find rest (that thing we say is "for the weak!" & then keep trying to push on in our own strength). As Christian Women & Moms, we have Biblical duties to fulfill. In doing so, we get to bless others as "Mom" & "Homemaker." However, these duties can feel overwhelming, especially when you're all-consumed with Motherhood. Listen in to learn the 2️⃣ ways to shift your perspective in order to fulfill these roles from the right state of mind/heart, instead of merely going through the motions.
Harmonious living begins with your spiritual well-being. Growing strong in your faith-walk requires 4 things - prayer, gratitude, scripture & worship. Incorporating a daily nourishing ritual will help you create a new habit for confidence & congruency. To stay integrity, you have to be flexible & give yourself grace. There are seasons of life when certain things serve you well, and there are other seasons of life when those same things no longer do & actually become detrimental at times. You have to be aware & mindful in order to make the necessary shifts to live in congruency. Register for The F.A.I.T.H Method Retreat here: subscribepage.com/faithmethodretreat
I'm challenging the stigma that once you become "Mom," you need to embrace that fact & move on, forgetting the "old you." Just because you have been called to this role in life does not mean you must abandon the person you are underneath all the titles/labels/roles in life. Let's not forget that God gifted you with unique qualities, skills & differences - all of which are part of who you are as a person. Motherhood does NOT need to be THE defining factor for your identity. It can be a part of you, but it doesn't have to define you...even as a Christian. Remember, our core identity is in Christ, not in our roles in life.
When your identity is tied to something, whether fitness, career or otherwise, it feels like the end of the world when you're forced to take a step back. The physical changes that come with the transition to Motherhood often impact your identity, or at least the way you view yourself. They make you question so much & make you wonder if you'll be more than Mom. Listen in to find out how prayer, patience & pampering changed everything for me
We often live out of habit, going through the motions of day to day life as Moms. This makes it challenging to really know who we are at the core of it all. That's why we need to set aside intentional time for introspection so that we can get to know ourselves at a deeper level. Join me as I guide you through the 4 things you need to be aware of & solidify in your life in order to grow in confidence.
