How to Develop your own Intuition and take your power back Practice - Listening to your intuition is a skill and that means that to get better at it you have to practice it. When something comes up in your intuition, act on it right away and when the next thing comes up, act on it too. It stops feeling like you are deciding and get easier to follow your intuition every time. Get out of your own way - When you talk yourself out of something, you are effectively letting yourself and your thoughts get in the way. Just take a leap and do something before your mind can kick in and stop you. Mindfulness - Mindfulness and meditation are perfect for listening to your body and noticing the small things. When you cultivate a mindfulness practice, you open yourself up to having more awareness so that when you have a gut feeling you can recognize it and act on it. Trust - Learn to trust in the unknown. Trust that your intuition will steer you in the direction you need to go. You have a natural intelligence that will guide you where you need to go if you listen to it. Listen to your dreams - When you dream your subconscious takes control it can sometimes give you insights. You can also guide your dreams by keeping a thought in your mind until you fall asleep and letting your subconscious do the rest. The truth is our self-worth must come from with in, what we love and value not what we can try to prove or acquire. Starting in your late 30s to mid-40s, your hormones begin to fluctuate wildly. This stage of life is known as perimenopause, the precursor to menopause when your periods stop completely. During this time, estrogen levels, which influence mood-regulating brain chemicals, experience sharp dips and spikes at random times. When estrogen drops, feel-good chemicals, such as serotonin and dopamine, plummet too, setting you up for more volatile emotions. I love to listen how Tony Robins explains our story is our blueprint. It's what we wanted our life to be like. When your life doesn't match your blueprint, you can succeed at what you do, but feel unfulfilled. Worse, when your life doesn't match your blueprint and you don't feel like you can change it, you can feel stuck or depressed. You need to match your blueprint to feel full and alive. Many times in midlife we wake up one day and don't like where we are. What happened to the blueprint of my life? What happened to my Fairytale of my life? We ask Is this it? Life doesn't always go our way, and things change along the way, including major events in our life. We can fall down hard or land face first on the carpet. How do we get out of the hole or get back up? How do we know there can be happiness again. This means changing your life or changing your story. And, the irony is, sometimes failing to get your goal helps you fulfill your destiny. If you're reading these words right now, then there's no doubt that you've been disappointed in some aspect of your life. You've likely been through the wringer, had your world turned upside down, and suffered through an immense amount of pain and failure. I have too. And by no means does it feel good whatsoever. But there is a pathway to happiness. There's a highway to success. It's just that many people choose not to travel along those roads. They're less traveled because they're harder to navigate. The beginning is always rocky and steep, enough to make most people turn back. And parts of the road are downright impassable. But for those willing to put in the work, those seemingly impassable roads eventually lead to easier streets. But navigating along them at the outset might feel treacherous at best. But with the right amount of focus and grit, it happens, one step at a time, and one day at a time. Tips on How to Stop Comparing Yourself to Others How do you stop constantly comparing yourself to others? It is a bad habit you can break with some of these tips… • Practice gratitude • Your self-worth is priceless • Be kind to yourself and don't tear yourself down. • See your own successes. • Desire the greater things in life. • It is impossible to compare apples and oranges so don't. Remind yourself nobody is perfect. Look to others for inspiration not comparison. • Be aware social media can be a trap and trigger negative emotions. Comparing ourselves to others only has negative effects on our self-worth and self-esteem. It is a shame we let ourselves take part in such negative thoughts and actions. When you catch yourself in this bad habit, you can break it by using some of the actions listed above. Yes, it is a bad habit you can break. And the freedom found in comparing less is entirely worth the effort. "DEAL WITH YOUR SHIT" Ok what does that mean exactly? Deal with your own shit first of all. Before you think you need to fix everybody else. Understand your dysfunction, your issues, your anger and your harmful behaviors. Except the fact you can be accountable for every faucet of your life. Deal with it. Don't bring all your shit to other people. It is also not blaming others for your life. Don't foist it upon relationships, friendships, social groups, the workplace or pass it on to your kids. Don't expect others to deal with your shit and be free social workers, bodyguards, crisis counsellors, or emotional punch-bags. Deal with your shit, don't drag others into it and then wonder why your not living your best life. It's your shit. Maybe it started as someone else's shit but it's yours now. Own it and take reasonability for your own actions. Here are 3 places you can start by dealing with this junk weighing you down. Becoming aware, learn what triggers you and work every month on better boundaries. Time to put on the big girl panties and let go of poor me and take charge of your life... and remember Mama Loves!!!!!!

What are energy drainers? Those things that we are tolerating, ignoring, or putting up with that are draining us of our precious energy. Energy Drainers can be mental or physical clutter and when they are handled, you can reclaim the energy that is being used up by them. Are you living in a lot of drama, yours or someone else's? The truth is you indeed may not be the one who creates the drama, yet you may be drawn to dramatic people or situations. Why? Maybe for your ego, but not for your blissful existence as the outcome is the same – you end up in a mess, its draining and exhausting and robs your energy. 5 things to look at to weed drama out of your life.... 1. You Like the adrenaline high and the rush that comes with it… Our heart beats faster when you are in a messy situation, so you create as many of them as possible to keep your blood pressure high and your dopamine level even higher. You will need to replace it with something positive instead. Try a crazy outdoor sport. 2. Drama can distract You from facing your real feelings and issues If there is something inside of you that needs healing or dealing with, drama and mess can effectively distract you from that. Many of us are simply terrified to look into our deepest issues, so we do anything to “sweep it under the carpet” or do something that will distract our attention from it. Be willing to look at what is really going on. 3. Drama is your comfort zone, how you were raised, or it is what your used to..... Do you remember what your upbringing was like? Lots of screaming, passive-aggressive behavior, dysfunction and craziness all the time. You may not have even been aware of it? Some drama is normal, but perhaps changed your entire on drama. If that's your case, you need to acknowledge it and then to make a decision if you want to detach yourself from the patterns you've learned during your childhood. 4. Your needing drama in your life could be for attention/ validation or appreciation We love to feel loved, appreciated and validated, but our pride and ego very often will get this from anywhere they can. Will you do anything for attention? 5. Self – Fulfilling Prophecy: Do you tell yourself you're just a hot mess? That phenomenon is called a self-fulfilling prophecy: you see yourself as a certain type of a person and you subconsciously do everything to confirm that image in your head. Even if that image is something that you don't like. Start a new story about you! So, rethinking the too much drama in your life? I hope you are. Remember this: Drama may be addictive sometimes, but it's never healthy. And it usually means that there is something in you and/or your life that needs fixing.
