Najwięcej wskazań – rekord w historii – zdobyli Grzesznicy, a wśród faworytów znalazł się też nowy film Paula Thomasa Andersona Jedna bitwa po drugiej. Tegoroczna lista pokazuje, że Akademia postawiła na kino ambitne, mocno autorskie i wyraźnie zanurzone w sporach politycznych i społecznych.Rozmowa Łukasza Adamskiego z Konradem Mędrzeckim w „Odysei wyborczej” Radia Wnet szybko zeszła z prostego liczenia nominacji na szerszą refleksję o relacji kina i polityki. Zdaniem Adamskiego była to wizyta leżąca w interesie obu przywódców.Dla prezydenta Zełenskiego Polska jest państwem absolutnie kluczowym, jeśli chodzi o pomoc Ukrainie – zarówno w Unii Europejskiej, jak i w NATO. I dobrze, że ukraińskie elity zaczynają to coraz lepiej rozumieć– mówił.Jednocześnie, zauważył, także dla prezydenta Nawrockiego spotkanie miało duże znaczenie polityczne i międzynarodowe. Jak oceniał, „pozycja polskiego prezydenta na arenie międzynarodowej w dużej mierze zależy dziś od relacji z prezydentem Ukrainy, bo to Ukraina znajduje się w centrum globalnych dyskusji”.Adamski zwrócił uwagę, że wcześniejsza powściągliwość Warszawy mogła być świadomym zabiegiem, ponieważ, „prezydent Nawrocki mógł chcieć zmienić paradygmat relacji – odejść od bezwarunkowego poparcia i pokazać bardziej wstrzemięźliwą postawę. To mogło doprowadzić do refleksji po stronie ukraińskiej i w efekcie do tej wizyty w Warszawie”.Jednym z ważnych tematów rozmów prezydentów była energia i współpraca przy terminalu LNG. Adamski studzi jednak oczekiwania, jeśli chodzi o rolę Polski jako pełnego gwaranta bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Ukrainy.Polska nie jest jeszcze gwarantem bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Ukrainy, bo to oznaczałoby zdolność natychmiastowego pokrycia jej potrzeb– zaznaczył.Pytany o udział polskich firm w przyszłej odbudowie Ukrainy, Adamski był ostrożny. Jak mówił, „nie sądzi, żeby Polska mogła liczyć na jakieś wyjątkowe preferencje”. Jego zdaniem kluczowe będzie stworzenie uczciwych warunków konkurencji.Sukcesem będzie sytuacja, w której polskie przedsiębiorstwa wygrają nie dlatego, że są z Polski, ale dlatego, że zaoferują najlepsze warunki– ocenił.Ekspert zaznaczył jednak, że geografia, bliskość kulturowa i zaplecze logistyczne dają Polsce naturalne atuty. Wskazał także na znaczenie planowanej w Polsce międzynarodowej konferencji poświęconej odbudowie Ukrainy.W rozmowie pojawił się także wątek współpracy wojskowej i technologicznej, zwłaszcza w obszarze dronów. Według Adamskiego „Ukraina ma dziś najbardziej doświadczoną armię w Europie”.Żadna armia NATO nie ma takiego doświadczenia w prowadzeniu nowoczesnej wojny, w tym wojny dronowej, jak armia ukraińska– mówił.Jego zdaniem współpraca w tym obszarze może być korzystna dla obu stron.To klasyczna sytuacja win-win: Polska może zyskać bezcenne doświadczenie i technologie, a Ukraina wzmocnić bezpieczeństwo swojego kluczowego sojusznika– wskazał.Dr Adamski zwrócił jednak uwagę na jedno zagrożenie. Andrew Adamski, or walkie talkie callsign gopher, is one of the farmer owners of Full Circle Community Farm in Wisconsin, the land of coops in the US. He came back to his generations old family farm in 2017 after college, along with his now wife heather, to not only continue the family farming tradition, but diversify both its production and membership. He talks about his returning to the farm, their simplified and flexible business structure, using what he learned about ecology to develop the farms ownership/membership model, and that you don't have to have it all figured out to begin to include other members of the farm in the decision-making process. Peter Adamski seemed to have it all. At 19, he had met Kathy, the love of his life and the woman he would marry. In his 20s, he landed a prestigious job with the pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson, jetting around the world in first class for business meetings. He had a healthy baby boy, John, his wealth soared into the millions, and he owned three houses. He was living the American dream. But everything changed when he and Kathy received the news from a doctor: "Kathy, you have early-onset Alzheimer's." The future they had envisioned together was abruptly replaced by the prospect of a long, painful farewell. After Kathy's passing, Peter felt as though he had lost all sense of meaning - until one night, he felt a profound call from God. At 65, he became a Catholic priest, and he believes his life has never been more fulfilling.
