2022 April Deep Sessions (2018 Pt.8 Deep Underground)  Eighth installment of what will be a long Deep House Series. Our last real Deep House sets are dating from 2017. The main reasons for the hiatus being that to stay within the true colours of the genre, we have to depart from the vocals we love, the progressive sounds we long for and the catchy melodies for which we are suckers for. But then it becomes a Sisyphean task looking at all the Deep tracks we have accumulated in 4 years and just start building a playlist. Mainly Progressive House, with a few Trance throwbacks and a 15 minutes Acid-Tech house that will challenge some but stay with us! There is a mostly successful mashup of ATB's 9pm (Till I Come) with 2 of our favourite House anthems: “Finally” and “Missing”. The second “Missing” mashup was done with a DIY accapella, it shows ... but there are no decent studio accapellas of "Missing" anywhere, so we had to improvise. Highlights:The AVIRA remix of Delerium's "Silence", where the Canadian opted to showcase the vocals and curtail the melodic line. Meg Myer's take of Kate Bush's “Running up that Hill”, immense!New remixes of Da Hool's “Meet Me at the Love Parade” and Darube's “Sandstrom”, those took us back, way back.An amazing LIVE rendition of Eli & Fur's “Come Back Around” showing that they sound amazing live! 2021 Aug When House Meets TranceImpromptu live set interrupting the Beach House series. It just happened... We need to “bring it back”!There is a soundspace where House meets Trance. Always loved it, always strive to get there. From 122 to 138 bpm, at times banging, with new remixes of classics, Phil Collins, Pat Benatar and Madonna dropped in.Highlighting  2 tracks which required a bit of editing work: a mashup up of no-less than a new Paul Van Dyk remix of the balearic anthem “Cafe Del Mar” and Chicane's “Saltwater” I which we added synth pads and a choral work rendition of “As the Rush Comes” with time delayed fourth and fifth harmonies of two remixes with added accapellas to boot. Berlin based Wanja of I sill love H.E.R. aka Wan.illa NICE has been involved in the Hip-Hop industry since 2002. Early on, she covered everything form interviewing artists, podcasts, international mixtapes, artist management, tour booking and road management in the US as well as in Europe. In 2004, she established the blog IstillLoveHer.de and her PR agency, which became her full-time job. Wanja spent the following years building her brand, reputation, and knowledge, which have made her a household name in Hip-Hop. She now runs a popular Instagram page and continues helping artists to succeed through PR, promotion and social media marketing. Most importantly, Wanja has remained a true fan and supporter of the art which in 2018 led her to DJing, to do what she loves most: sharing music with people. As a DJ her aim is to showcase all eras of Hip-Hop and prove that they can beautifully coexist. Aside from Hip-Hop, she enjoys mixing Afrobeats, Dancehall, Afro House, and R&B into her sets. Having played gigs in Berlin’s most beloved Hip-Hop venues (Yaam, Festaal Kreuzberg, Klunkerkranich, Badehau and more), at one of Europe’s biggest festivals Hip-Hop Kemp, opening for artists such as Wu-Tang’s GZA and Rah Digga, and holding a monthly residence at Berlin’s Swag Jam. In mid 2019, Wan.illa NICE felt it was time to take her talents overseas. During a six month tour in South Africa she played in venues all over Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban and was a repeat guest DJ on the legendary Ready D show on Good Hope FM.
