Le côté Ouest est libre et capitaliste tandis que le côté Est semble mort car cloisonné par un parti communiste aux allures dictatoriales. 9 Novembre 1989 : Les autorités Est-allemandes ne soumettent plus le passage à l'Ouest à une autorisation préalable. Ceci est le résultat d'un enchaînement de manifestations contre le régime et la reprise d'une émigration massive de l'Est à l'Ouest en plus d'un changement de gouvernement récent. Si bien que le soir même de l'annonce de la fin des contrôles à la frontière, les habitants des deux blocs se dirigent simultanément vers le Mur pour le détruire physiquement et franchir eux-mêmes la ligne de démarcation des deux Berlin. C'est la chute du Mur de Berlin. Ensuite, les habitants des deux parties de la ville franchissent la frontière. Les est-allemands se rendent dans des disquaires de musique électronique de l'ouest ou dans des magasins de Hi-FI pour s'acheter de quoi mixer tandis que ceux de l'ouest découvrent la partie communiste en morceau, où les batîments abandonnées sont légions. C'est là que les choses bougent, les possibilités sont infinies. Chacun y voit une occasion de créer quelque chose. Et évidemment, la techno arrive à prendre une place plus qu'importante ... Il a suivi une grande partie des rave party et autres évènements festifs de la ville durant les mois suivants. "Wenn der Mensch die Lippen bewegt, muss man auch hören, was er sagt." – Im Januar 1929 beginnt die Tonfilmära in Deutschland. Auch vorher wurden Filme schon akustisch begleitet, aber die synchrone Verbindung von Bild und Ton und damit das hörbare gesprochene Wort – das war neu! Deshalb werden diese Filme anfangs auch "Talkie" genannt. Der Filmregisseur Ernst Lubitsch (1892 - 1947) gehörte zu den Pionieren des Tonfilms mit seinem Hollywoodfilm "Loveparade". Hier ein Interview mit ihm vom 12.11.1932, aufgenommen im Berliner Hotel "Adlon".

Geçtiğimiz günlerde Güney Kore'nin Seoul Şehrinin Itewona bölgesinde Cadılar Bayramı kutlamalarında akıllara durgunluk veren bir felaket yaşandı. Pandemi sonrası bir etkinliğe katılmanın coşkusuyla 100.000 kişi, Güney Kore'nin Itewona adlı turistik bölgesindeki kutlamalara akın etti. Kalabalığın akışının kontrolden çıkmasıyla bir anda insanlar bir sokakta sıkışmış vaziyette mahsur kaldı. İnsanlar dev bir insan kitlesi halini aldı ve o kitleden çıkmak mümkün olmadı. Bu olay, 153 kişinin hayatını kaybetmesiyle, ve 133 kişinin yaralanmasıyla sonuçlandı. Peki Güney Kore'yi yasa boğan bu felaketin sebebi neydi? Bu durum izdihamdan farklı olarak “kalabalık ezilmesi” ve “kalabalık çökmesi” olarak adlandırılıyor ve tarihte de örnekleri mevcut. Kalabalık çökmesi nedir? Kalabalık çökmesi, bir bölgede çok yoğun bir kalabalık olduğunda ( > 5 kişi/m2), insanların vücudu birbirine temas halinde olup, birbirine itiş kuvveti uyguladığında ortaya çıkabiliyor. Bu kişilerden birinin düşmesi sonucunda, kişinin etrafındakilere uyguladığı itiş kuvveti kayboluyor ve çevresindekiler de adeta bir girdabın içine çekmesi misali düşen kişinin üzerine düşmeye başlıyor. Ve bu durum kitlede domino taşı benzeri etkiye yol açarak daha büyük bir girdapla sonuçlanıyor. Bu süreç, kalabalıktaki insanların birbirine temasıyla oluşan basınç rahatlayana kadar devam ediyor. Tabi bu girdapta altta kalanlar eziliyor, yaralanmalar ve asfiksi meydana geliyor. 2015'te Mekke'de Hac faaliyetinde 2000'den fazla kişinin ölümüyle sonuçlanan Mina İzdihamı buna örnek verilebilir.  Kalabalık ezilmesi nedir? Daha yoğun insan kalabalığında (>9 kişi/m2), insanlar o kadar sıkışıyor ki, adeta insan yığını, bireylerin kendi iradesiyle hareket edemediği dev bir insan kütlesine dönüşüyor ve bu kütlenin içerisindeki insanlar nefes alamıyor ve asfiksi meydana geliyor. Bu tür kalabalık ezilmeleri, hareket halindeki bir kalabalık gitgide daha küçük bir alana yönlendirildiğinde veya bir engelle karşılaştığında (çıkmaz sokak veya kilitli bir kapı gibi) veya benzer yoğunlukta bir kalabalıkla birleştiğinde, kalabalığın önündekilere doğru ilettiği bir basınç dalgası ile meydana gelebiliyor. Bu tip ezilmelere örnek olarak Sheffield, Güney Yorkshire, İngiltere'deki Hillsborough faciası ve 2010'da Almanya, Duisburg, Kuzey Ren-Vestfalya'daki Love Parade faciası verilebilir.  Bakınız, Evrim Ağacı kurucusu ve baş editörü Çağrı Mert Bakırcı, bu durumu akışkanlar mekaniği ile nasıl açıklamış : Öncelikle, moleküllerin Brown hareketine kadar mikro düzeye inmek gerekiyor. Bakırcı, bunu bir bardak su örneği ile vermiş. Herhangi bir bardak içindeki oda sıcaklığındaki su molekülleri her bir saniye, birbirlerine 100 milyon kere çarpışmaktadırlar. Yeterli kinetik enerjiye sahip olan moleküller ise bardaktan dışarı çıkarak havaya karışır - buharlaşma gerçekleşmiş olur. Kinetik enerjileri dolayısıyla sürekli hareket halinde olan ve bu sırada birbirine çarpan moleküllerin bu rastgele ve kontrolsüz hareketine Brown Hareketi denmektedir. Bu örneğe göre, herkesin kendine ait alanının olduğu imkanlarda, on binlerce kişi müzik dinlerken bir sorun yoktur. Tıpkı Brown hareketi yapan moleküller gibi, oldukları yerde rastgele salınırlar veya birbirlerine hafifçe çarpıp bir o yana bir bu yana dönerler. Ancak kalabalık artıp insanlar sıkışmaya başladığında işler değişiyor. Burada da durum, suyun laminer akımdan türbülans akımına dönerek yarattığı basınç ile örneklendirilmiş. Laminer akım, su moleküllerinin aynı yöne doğru akmaya başlaması gibi düşünülebilir. Mesela, birbirleriyle etkileşime geçmeyecek şekilde kişisel alanı olan binlerce kişi, ileri doğru aynı hızda yürürse, bu laminer akıma benzetilebilir. Ama eğer akış düzeni bozulursa, yani moleküllerin birbirlerine göre hızı ve yönü kaotikleşirse, işler birden değişecektir. Buna, türbülans veya düzensiz akış denir. İşte bu kaotik hareket, ilerlemek için gereken basıncı artırdığı için, yıkıcı etkilere neden olabilir.

Gilbert Gabriel - The Dream Academy - in conversation with David Eastaugh The Dream Academy were a British band consisting of singer/guitarist Nick Laird-Clowes, multi-instrumentalist (chiefly oboe, cor anglaisplayer) Kate St John, and keyboardist Gilbert Gabriel. The band is most noted for their 1985 hit singles "Life in a Northern Town", "The Love Parade" and their 1985 cover of the Smiths' song "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want", which was featured in the John Hughes film Ferris Bueller's Day Off in 1986.

We are in front of an instinctive mind guided by deep emotions that constantly look for ways to create a special space with the crowd, a vortex that linearly drags the listeners creating a strong bond with them, sweeping through all the musical nuances belonging to her sound. Resident Dj of Berlin's notorious queer party Gegen. The beginnings of her musical journey took place in Italy, and her natural progression continued in Berlin where she established herself some years ago. From early on she was part of the Berlin Queer scene, first with the TrashEra collective, and then joining Gegen in 2020. Flavia has held court in many clubs and festivals around Europe and abroad, such as KitKat, Tresor, RSO, Whole Festival, Feel Festival, Reflex, Vitamina Milan, Uebel & Gefährlich, ∄ Kyiv, D-Edge, Vampire House, Egg London, and more. She recently performed at the Love Parade, renamed Rave the Planet, and the Tresor Festival in Berlin. Her dance floor sound serves the mental and hypnotic side of electronic music, well combined with energetic grooves and atmospheric sounds, allowing that perfect adrenaline combination between mind and body. While pursuing her career as a DJ and producer, was drawn to sound design and music composition; in the past two years she has worked for fashion brands, art projects, and short documentaries; her most recent work was featured in July 2022 on Nowness during Pride month. This year sign also the release of her first sample pack in collaboration with the Swiss company Schertler Audio. Renowned for delivering flawless journey sets and a positive party vibe wherever he performs, DJ Ruby is considered a true pioneer of his caliber, a hard-working and modest person that has always matured with the scene. He now boasts nearly 30 years of experience, which has obtained him countless achievements and acclaim which are impossible to mention all in a few lines. DJ Ruby is responsible for being a major force in starting and shaping Malta's elite dance music scene into what it is today. For many years, he hosted countless events under the Pure Promotions imprint, setting trends for various clubbing concepts on the island, and introducing multiple generations to electronic dance music. After a very long and successful time working in the local scene, in 2018 DJ Ruby went through a complete rebranding and preparation to break into the international scene. Our first premiere of the week starts off with a thump as PETDuo feature on Purgatory's first release with a high octane hard techno techno anthem. The Brazilian duo have supplied a rapacious peak time track, with slamming low end, tortuous synth lines and crisped looping grooves. Irish techno party Purgatory launches its first chapter as a label with a hard hitting VA of angry techno. Purgatory was born in Berlin with the aim of hosting tough as nails techno parties with avant-garde acts from across Europe and Ireland. Purgatory has hosted heavy hitters Dave Clarke, Chlär, Echoes Of October, Illnurse, Cailín, Jamie Behan & more across Berlin, Manchester & Galway. The party & label celebrates its year anniversary of ferocious techno, with the birth of the label which features act's from Ireland and further ashore, which keeps in line with labels ethos. Among the bill of producers on the VA is Cailín, Richie Corrigan, D. Carbone, Aero, Myler, Felix6ood & Pet Duo. Our second feature of the VA comes from Brazillian hard techno pairing, PETDuo. The formidable duo have been hugely influential in the hard techno scene over the years, spreading their sound across seminal parties, clubs and festival such as, Love Parade, I Love Techno, TimeWarp, Awakenings and countless others. The pair have also worked alongside some of techno's most influential characters in the world of hard, tough and straight up banging techno such as, Miss Djax, Svetec, Ben Long, O.B.I., Alex TB and Malke. Since forming on 1997 PetDuo have undoubtedly made their mark on hard techno and have released on Hydraulix, Audio Assault, their own imprints Cause Records, PHONK! Records, D & A Music & a host of others. PETDuo's contribution to the Purgatory VA show's the pair at the hardest and raviest as they blend an amalgamation of churning synths, groveling bass and hammering bass drums. This hard techno done properly, as the duo tell a story of peak time warehouse techno. We can see this getting played a lot over the summer. Hier können wir genaue Angaben darüber machen, wie viele Zimmer wir zur Verfügung stellen oder wie groß möglicherweise sogar eine komplette Wohnung ist. I've been in a funk most of the week and didn't really feel I had much to say about this set until I listened to it back in my car, which totally flipped my frame of mind. Mainly Progressive House, with a few Trance throwbacks and a 15 minutes Acid-Tech house that will challenge some but stay with us! There is a mostly successful mashup of ATB's 9pm (Till I Come) with 2 of our favourite House anthems: “Finally” and “Missing”. The second “Missing” mashup was done with a DIY accapella, it shows ... but there are no decent studio accapellas of "Missing" anywhere, so we had to improvise. Highlights:The AVIRA remix of Delerium's "Silence", where the Canadian opted to showcase the vocals and curtail the melodic line. Meg Myer's take of Kate Bush's “Running up that Hill”, immense!New remixes of Da Hool's “Meet Me at the Love Parade” and Darube's “Sandstrom”, those took us back, way back.An amazing LIVE rendition of Eli & Fur's “Come Back Around” showing that they sound amazing live!
