Also, Tim Denis has a trucking news update and we add a segment from our Trucker RADIO Show, just to remind you that we share the road with some crazy people. Defensive Driving Lesson #789.

PUPPET PENNY FOLLOWS THE PLAN. Her Mother's name is "Ditzy Daisy takes the plan" and her Fathers name is "Dufus Donkey sets the plan" Penny thought her Father was a leader and later to realize that the name means otherwise. Penny was affected by her Father to listen to everything that he said and did. However after taking a look at the plan that Dufus did for the vacation. She determined the destiny was off my 250 miles. She asked her mother about this and she said "Oh it is OK, don't worry about it." Penny followed the plan for a while. She did some research and discovered that her Dufus Father was not a leader at all. He was taking pay offs and had a his own agenda. What is funny ,is, that Penny learned that Dufus controlled her and her Mother but she learned that he was also being controlled. Penny is on a mission to expose the wrong doings done to her and her Mother. She also believes that this is the beginning of others coming together that are like minded and tired of being a Puppet. She knows her mother will just agree with her because that is all she does is agree. Penny is working for the greater good of people to stand up against fraud and misuse of power. Oh my goodness I have been the Ditzy Daisy takes the plan and also the Dufus. I am so glad that Penny found me. Thank You Please pass this Podcast on to everyone you know. I am here to help heal the Dufusses and the Ditzy Daisis to be the Penny that makes a difference. I have been both. SquawkingDead.com: overhauled AGAIN! Long, but stay the course! We go pretty deep & get personal! Background Music by Bear McCreary * #TheWalkingDead has refined their solitary character-centric episodes, and this one, with #EugenePorter, is peak. * Try as you might, #TheSaviors get blood on their hands * Constant, scattered, and subtle reminders throughout the episode of why being a Savior sucks * Eugene is a Dufus and Dwight ain't f***in' around - both are committed to what were once opposing causes * Eugene is a good guy that has only known safety, but the lengths that he goes to maintain it... * Why Eugene is "#Negan": his talents have actual purpose at #TheSanctuary, as opposed to his uselessness in Alexandria * #DrCarson cuts through Eugene's Savior bullsh** and gets #FatherGabriel... weed... via con juana * Why the guts won't work, anymore, or why the Toxic #Walkers made Father Gabriel so sick, so fast *ding-ding* * Why Tanya's priorities may not be right, but she's not wrong: either way, another living reminder of life with The Saviors * Tanya and Father Gabriel's takeaway: just do the right thing when you see it. You'll know when. * Our thoughts return to the helicopter from a couple of episodes back: another unheard of group propping up The Saviors, an entirely unknown 3rd party, The Saviors, or the vehicle to the series finale? * This episode is chock full of reminders of both #RickGrimes' Crew's bravery and The Savior's safety/cruelty: both are tugging at Eugene * Eugene's pure and full act of bravery is thwarted * Why Negan isn't full of s**t while singing Eugene's praises: Eugene understands what Negan's trying to do without a Father Gabriel confession * Why Negan really "ain't the dyin' type": something Rick's Crew and Tanya doesn't get * Evidence of Eugene's authentic committment to the on-paper mission of The Saviors and why he's so mad/decimated when his act of #bravery is shut down * Negan, Eugene, and their in medias res conversation about making more bullets... but why does he spare Dwight? And what will he do, now? * The shocking return and amazing self-awareness of #MorganJones * #Rosita's not-so-obviously difficult decision to bow out of the #TARYL party * #Michonne's apprehension (and plea to #DarylDixon) in joining TARYL and why she leaves * Why Tara is poking Daryl in the tuchas with her pitchfork: the character arc that leads her here * Taryl's plan accelerated Rick's plan but enabled Negan's escape * Riffing on The Dumpsters' strangeness: Scientologists? Do they lead by committee, in large part? * "Time for After": Fighting Proto-Winslow and Rick's infinite patience and J.A.H.K. (Junkyard, Alexandria, #TheHilltop, #TheKingdom) * Junkyard Gang and Rick: Sanctuary lookouts are abandoned, gates are Walker free... how much time has actually passed?! * #TantricDeath will finally claim its victims: as #TantricDeath goes, it'll be a whopper. May Rick's mercy prevail over his wrath * #Bravo's "The People's Couch" and the 3 typical reactions to the more shocking scenes in #TWD * How TWD has perfectly laid out wild, but legitimate possibilities of where they can go next ** Sneak Peeks ** * #MaggieRhee encounters the (callback) knocked down #trees. Dammit * #Enid stops to "pick up" something with Aaron and why it reenforces our mistrustful inclinations * Negan at the gates of Alexandria and the blood on Eugene's hands: Why #ChrisHardwick is wrong about Eugene ** General Observations ** * #JoshMcDermitt's real life woes and why he should lean in to the hate * Negan: modeled by #HenryRollins in the comics, perfected by #JeffreyDeanMorgan * Vulgarity and Violence: why is the former is regulated, but the latter is left to the show-runners? Watching edgy entertainment with children and talking about our upbringing * Revisiting #XanderBerkeley in T2, why older men tend to look sexier, and how men and women can #OwnIt as they age * How and why Daryl will die --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/squawkingdead/message

If you're crossed, we'll also be going over ways to get uncrossed QUICK. So tune in for tunes and a talk with Lady A and I. See you on the porch!
Over a decade ago I happened upon a band in the East Village of NYC called Dufus, led by one of my favorite musicians on the planet, Seth Faergolzia, as he gets ready for a tour of the American South. I have the pleasure of interviewing him and featuring his amazing music! In addition, on this Rockett Radio “double episode”, is a Fu@%^’d Up S*&T from history concerning the “gentrification” riots in the East Village. (Welcome to Best Of Week. As Tales from the "LiberryCAST" rockets toward its final episode, this is my chance to have a look back at some of my favorite episodes from this podcast adaptation of favorite blog entries from Tales from the "Liberry.") When I was first planning this podcast, there were two entries from the original Tales from the "Liberry" blog that I knew I had to adapt. The first you can hear as the first episode. The next is this episode. For all the entries I wrote in my "Actual Conversations Heard in Actual Libraries" series, only a few were labeled as paraphrased and none were outright fiction.... well, except for one. I got pissed off at a certain set of real circumstances one day and started writing unreal dialogue. So I now present Non-Actual Conversations Not Heard in Actual Libraries #74--a completely fictional conversation between a number of real rogue patrons, inspired by actual events if not actual words.

(A REPOST OF A CLASSIC INTRODUCTORY EPISODE THAT TIES INTO THIS WEEK'S NEW EPISODE.) The major problem with patron access computers are the patrons. They don't have computers at home, so they have to come use ours. And that's great, until it's not. Such was the case with a Rogue Patron I came to call The Dufus. He was a guy from the area who'd gone out into the world for, to hear him tell it, a storied career as a minor deity on the West Coast, where he hobnobbed with rich and powerful celebrities all of whom adored him. Again, to hear him tell it. And tell it he was more than willing to do. Somehow he got it into his head that such minor matters as time limits on the patron computers didn't apply to him and no matter how many people we had waiting to use his, there he sat, pissing all of us off. Ironic and moronic, because he was using our computer to try and get a job working for the library in the first place.

This particular podcast was somewhat railroaded by two different things, and hence has very little of the new music/inbox harvesting stuff you may have come to expect from Song, by Toad. Firstly, I went to see Jeffrey Lewis on Wednesday. He was supported by Seth Faergolzia from Dufus and covered 2+2=? by the Bob Seger System, which explains two of the songs. Secondly, I went out to visit a couple of pals on Thursday night. That resulted in an epic Pearl Jam-a-thon, so I was looking for some Pearl Jam to play today, only to happen across an old compilation with Pearl Jam, Luna, The Magnetic Fields, Yo La Tengo, Beck and others on it, which explains a couple more songs. As for the rest, well, there's just no excuse really, is there. 01. Soulsavers - Revival (00.16) 02. Pearl Jam - Bu$hleaguer (08.47) 03. Seth Faergolzia - Weird Old Toad (16.40) 04. Bob Seger System - 2+2=? (19.53)05. Lords of Bastard - Chant (25.24) 06. The Blue Runes - Stream Fog (31.59) 07. Beck - Golden Age (37.54) 08. Luna - Black Champagne (42.24) 09. The Eagles - Outlaw Man (52.25) 10. Honey Train - Yo Toad/Deepness (Demo) (58.37)
