There were a host of great cameos during October's Verzuz battle between Big Daddy Kane & KRS-One. To wrap this year up, I spend this episode celebrating my favorite one: KRS-One on stage with the legendary Das EFX, with a particular focus on their classic collaboration, "Represent the Real Hip-Hop", which appeared on both KRS-One's eponymous album and Das EFX's album Hold it Down (1995).

He has worked with countless key artist in the game such as DJ Vadim, KRS One, DJ Hitek, Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, Twista, to the next upcoming producer crafting beats in their bedroom. Mr. Atomz has been mentioned in publications like Rolling Stone, URB, Sister 2 Sister, to popular blogs like Okayplayer, Fake Shore Drive, DJ booth, Frank 151, Hyper Trak and the list goes on. You might have heard him recently on the Fifa 2013 video game sound track with “Got that fire”, or seen him on a recent Episode of TV One's F.O.M.. His roots in Chicago's Hip Hop scene run deep, from co-founding the CTA Radio Show (14+ years), presenting on the TV show Barbershop Hip Hop, to his time in the 90's leading the Nacrobats collective. Oxona udało mi się odwiedzić osobiście w Krakowie. Reprezentant krakowskiej ekipy hip-hopowej Hipocentrum i współtwórca obydwu oficjalnych polskich hymnów Hip Hop Kemp w 2007 i 2011 roku, opowiedział mi trochę o niewykorzystanych szansach na sukces w rapie i czy jest zadowolony ze swojego dorobku. Będzie też o kulisach wzięcia udziału w Rap Nokaucie, pogadaliśmy też szerzej o formie Battle Rap. O zbliżającej się płycie, wciągającym Krakowie, zawodzie barmana. Wróciliśmy też do czasów płyty z 2011 " Z tym będzie Ci jeszcze łatwiej". Zapraszam !

Lukáš Hejlík je divadelní a filmový herec, autor projektu scénického čtení Listování a populární Gastromapy Lukáše Hejlíka. Berlin based Wanja of I sill love H.E.R. aka Wan.illa NICE has been involved in the Hip-Hop industry since 2002. Early on, she covered everything form interviewing artists, podcasts, international mixtapes, artist management, tour booking and road management in the US as well as in Europe. In 2004, she established the blog IstillLoveHer.de and her PR agency, which became her full-time job. Wanja spent the following years building her brand, reputation, and knowledge, which have made her a household name in Hip-Hop. She now runs a popular Instagram page and continues helping artists to succeed through PR, promotion and social media marketing. Most importantly, Wanja has remained a true fan and supporter of the art which in 2018 led her to DJing, to do what she loves most: sharing music with people. As a DJ her aim is to showcase all eras of Hip-Hop and prove that they can beautifully coexist. Aside from Hip-Hop, she enjoys mixing Afrobeats, Dancehall, Afro House, and R&B into her sets. Having played gigs in Berlin’s most beloved Hip-Hop venues (Yaam, Festaal Kreuzberg, Klunkerkranich, Badehau and more), at one of Europe’s biggest festivals Hip-Hop Kemp, opening for artists such as Wu-Tang’s GZA and Rah Digga, and holding a monthly residence at Berlin’s Swag Jam. In mid 2019, Wan.illa NICE felt it was time to take her talents overseas. During a six month tour in South Africa she played in venues all over Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban and was a repeat guest DJ on the legendary Ready D show on Good Hope FM. Nikita Poljakov je novinář pracující v mediálním domě Economia, ale také dlouholetý stage manager legendárního festivalu Hip Hop Kemp. Díky rapu jsem se s Nikitou někdy okolo roku 2004 poznal a tak jsme vzpomínali na dobu před více než patnácti lety. Žádný nostalgický díl Tradeshow vás však nečeká, protože jsme se primárně bavili o zážitcích z hlavní stage Hip Hop Kempu, kterou má Nikita pod palcem od té doby, co jí převzal od Lukáše Hejlíka. Zajímavá část je určitě i ta, ve které jsme se věnovali vývoji celého festivalu a tomu, jaký Nikita vidí rozdíl mezi Hip Hop Kempem a Addictem. A kromě koncertů a muziky celkově, byla i řeč o životě Rusa v Praze, o projektech pro Hospodářské noviny i o budoucnosti médií po pandemii koronaviru.

Tak zrobił własnie Solar, który z dniem 28 kwietnia powołał takową i tym samym zapoczątkował lawinę gorących szesnastek i sowitych wpłat w ramach BEEFU Z KORONOWIRUSEM. Dostaliśmy już sporo nagranych zwrotek na, które nie mogliśmy się doczekać i sporo tych, na które nikt nie czekał jak #brzydka16chellenge. Gdy kolejna akcja z inicjatywy raperów się rozwija to w tym samym czasie mówi się o zawijaniu się EMPIKU z galerii handlowych. O tym jak ważne dla naszej branży były i są sklepy muzyczne rozmawiamy i zastanawiamy się nad tym jak może wyglądać polski rynek fonograficzny bez nich. Podobnie nieciekawe, ciemne chmury pojawiły się nad Hip Hop Kemp, które tegoroczna edycja najprawdopodobniej się nie odbędzie. W dzisiejszym odcinku zastanawiamy się nad tym w jakiej kondycji jest HHK i czy ma szanse na powrót po pandemii. Tematem kończącym nasze dyskusje była rozmowa o współpracy Deysa z Sariusem. Zwróciliśmy uwagę na to jak wiele problemów z gościnnymi występami często bierze się z nieprofesjonalnego podejścia jednej ze stron.

Wakacje się skończyły, dla wielu również urlopy. My jednak nie próżnowaliśmy i w tym czasie pracowaliśmy: Dawid przy Polish Hip-Hop Festival, Kuba przy Hip-Hop Kemp. Wypada więc podsumować te dwie imprezy. Jak było?

Raz jeszcze rozmawiamy o „Karmagedonie” Tedego, Kuba bierze pod lupę „Turboboost” Wac Toi, a Dawidowi podoba się „IGOR” Tylera, the Creatora. Bereits im August, im Rahmen des Hip Hop Kemp 2017 in Tschechien, traf Niko auf seiner Reise hinter die Kulissen von Hip-Hop auf Wanja Lange. Als Gründerin und Inhaber der Promotion-Agentur "I still love H.E.R." hat sie sich voll der Mission verschrieben, Hip-Hop eine Stimme und ein Sprachrohr zu geben.
