Ryan recently sat down with apprentice Brock Arvesen to reflect on the unanticipated chaos that has followed Mirai's post-repotting garden build. There's a therapy and acceptance of reality that comes with ambitious undertakings at Mirai and no better place to work through the frustrations of operating a bonsai nursery while chasing artistic ambitions, than with the people who are in the trenches together. Equal parts honesty and humor, the two share a laugh about the expectations we set for ourselves, the imperfection that comes with best laid plans, and the art of accepting what we can't control. Tune in for some lighthearted banter and a reminder that even the best intentions have a way of keeping us humble.
Thomas Nevar is one of the most brilliant and powerful creatives Mirai has had the pleasure of working with. Through his graphic design, sculpture, and painting, Thomas has not only inspired projects at Mirai, Thomas's work has had a direct impact on Mirai as a brand, compositions within the garden, and the spaces people at Mirai interact with. During one of his visits, Thomas and Ryan discussed an informal collaboration to see how creating in the same space at the same time might inform both artist's work. Before beginning the project, Thomas and Ryan sat down to discuss the scope of work, their thoughts about art and creativity, and to have a soulful discussion of how art and life dovetail together to form a symbiotic manner of moving through the world. The result was a really nice meeting of creative minds and a soulful conversation between two artists

Shoot us a Text.Episode #1353: Memorial Day travelers are hitting the road in record numbers while automakers roll out massive incentives to move inventory.Show Notes with links:Memorial Day originated in the aftermath of the Civil War as "Decoration Day"—a time for communities to decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers—and later evolved into a federal holiday honoring all American military personnel who have died in service. An estimated 45 million Americans are packing up for Memorial Day weekend, and 87% of them are doing it the old-fashioned way: by car. Even with higher gas prices, travelers are choosing the road, the snacks, and the “are we there yet?” energy.AAA projects a record 45 million travelers will go 50+ miles from home, up 0.4% from last year.About 39.1 million people will travel by car, despite gas averaging $4.52 per gallon as of May 11.Air travel is also up slightly, with 3.66 million domestic flyers expected. Round-trip domestic tickets are averaging $800, down 6% year over year.Other transportation methods including buses, trains, and cruises are expected to grow 5.3%, helped by a strong Alaska cruise season.AAA Travel's Stacey Barber said, “Despite higher fuel prices, many people are prioritizing leisure travel during holiday breaks.”New car shoppers heading into Memorial Day weekend are being greeted with something we haven't seen much of lately: serious incentives. From EVs to pickups to hydrogen sedans, automakers are tossing thousands on the hood to clear inventory and spark demand.Hyundai is offering $7,500 off the 2025 Ioniq 6, nearly 19% of the car's starting MSRP, as dealers work through leftover inventory.Chevy is putting up to $9,000 on the hood of the 2026 Silverado 1500, one of the biggest incentive percentages on the market at over 22%.Hyundai's new three-row Ioniq 9 EV gets a $10,000 incentive as the automaker looks to boost slower-than-expected sales.Toyota may win the “please just take it” award with a staggering $35,000 incentive on the hydrogen-powered Mirai, plus 0% financing for 72 months. The story behind many of these incentives? Rising inventories, slower EV demand, and OEMs trying to move leftover or underperforming models before summer heats up.Join Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier every morning for the Automotive State of the Union podcast as they connect the dots across car dealerships, retail trends, emerging tech like AI, and cultural shifts—bringing clarity, speed, and people-first insight to automotive leaders navigating a rapidly changing industry.Get the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/
Send us Fan MailIn this episode: Christi Powell and Angela Gardner interview cybersecurity expert Nick Espinosa about how modern cyber warfare affects everyday businesses, especially small to mid-size construction firms. Espinosa describes Russia's cyberattacks on Ukraine's infrastructure and the use of malware like Mirai to weaponize IoT devices, emphasizing that high-level tactics trickle down to business ransomware. He explains construction is consistently a top-three targeted sector (alongside healthcare and finance) because attackers expect cash, deadlines, and fast payouts, and notes hackers exploit centralized sensitive data to find insurance policies and set ransom demands, with ransoms often negotiable. He warns that cyber insurance is not a defense strategy and can lead to steep renewal costs and coverage disputes. The discussion also critiques Meta's social media impacts on privacy, disinformation, and youth mental health, and highlights emerging AI risks, citing Anthropic's “Mythos” and predicting AI-vs-AI cybersecurity defense.Support the show

In the world of being a bonsai professional at Mirai the end of repotting season makes the beginning of another very exciting and dramatically different scope of work. Think of the season for garden building and landscape work as a palette cleanser for the long season of watering and bonsai madness that awaits once trees enter the post-flush phase. Every year, Ryan takes time to celebrate a job well done repotting and indulges in his second love of building Mirai. This year, Brock and Brandon are here to help and pick up a few tips and tricks of the garden and landscape design realm they can incorporate into their own future bonsai facilities. Listen in for a light conversation about the team's garden ambitions, hopes for the next month, and random tangents of inspiration and fascination that will inform the shape Mirai takes in 2026.

Welcome to Season 6, Episode 12! We're really excited that our guest this episode is Mirai, the acclaimed audiobook narrator who's also an actress, director and writer. She's a proud 3-time Audie Award Finalist for her audiobook narrating. Not sure what that is? It's like the Academy Award of narration. Other than audiobook narration and Voice acting, she's been an actor on stage and screen with over 20 years experience, and she's done some directing. Her latest creative endeavor is the short film #Stop Asian Kate which Mirai was awarded a grant to produce. As the writer and star of this mockumentary, we know that it will feature Mirai's wit and sense of humor while containing a deeper message about the industry struggles for Asian Americans. Interested in hearing her audiobook narration? She has a LOT of titles to her name, but some of our favorites include The Many Daughters of Afong Moy, A Perfect Day to Be Alone, and A Study in Secrets. To learn more about Mirai, you can visit her website miraivo.com, find her on instagram @hi.mirai, and support the GoFundMe for her short film #StopAsianKate. Kindness. Humility. Generosity. These are words anyone discussing Harold Sasaki would use to describe this gentle giant of a man. But those of us who have been personally impacted by Harold know there is a tenacity to our teacher, a hunger for knowledge, a curiosity for what's possible, and a glean of motivation in his eye that propelled him to be one of the greatest trailblazers and pioneers of bonsai culture in North American bonsai over the past fifty years. Through his facility, Colorado Bonsai Limited, Harold Sasaki, or Hal as friends call him, has been teaching bonsai to curious and passionate practitioners and inspiring the next generation of bonsai artists and professionals for over four decades. Harold was one of a handful of instructors in the Rocky Mountain region who introduced yamadori into American bonsai culture and was the leading authority on ethical yamadori collection. When the rest of our budding bonsai culture was looking for material in nurseries, Harold was embracing the wild forms of rugged trees from the Rockies and taking people on safari to share the passion and technique of sustainable collecting practices. Harold's contributions go beyond pioneering the yamadori movement. He also sparked the flame of bonsai passion in known personalities including Mirai's own Ryan Neil, Golden Arrow's Andy Smith, First Branch Bonsai's Todd Schlafer, Will Kerns, Adam Johnson, Tim Arsenault, and so many others who have gone on to do big things and contribute to the art of bonsai and culture in our country. In fact, when you look at the landscape of bonsai in North America today, it's impossible to imagine our bonsai culture without appreciating the fingerprint of Harold's impact, including the heartfelt generosity and spirit of sharing Harold imbued to his students that continues to expand and make our community so rich and robust. It was a pleasure and an honor for Ryan to sit down with his mentor and go back to the beginning of where Harold's journey started, and to walk through the journey of one of American bonsai's GOATs. Thank you Harold, it was a pleasure my friend. Enjoy!
Speaking with creative people about their medium and process is one of the greatest aspects of Asymmetry. To know how other artists view the world and express themselves through their work inspires and informs the tools we all summon to bring beauty through art into the world. Stephen Voss is a D.C. based photographer whose work we have admired at Mirai for over a decade. We initially were exposed to Stephen's work through his book In Training, an intimate portrayal of the breaths between the words, and the spaces between the trees of the National Bonsai Collection. It was such a thoughtful publication of art and beauty that showed the depth Stephen interpreted the art form of bonsai with and the perspective he felt was valuable to share. Upon deeper dive we realized we were far more aware of Stephen's photography than we realized. His images have graced the cover of magazines, captured some of the most influential people in the country in their element, and documented some of the most monumental moments in modern history. Ryan and Stephen dive deep into their respective creative processes. From early beginnings and the growth of their creative selves to the actualization of projects based on their compiled experience in their fields, the conversation weaves in and out of personal and professional tidbits and insights. It was truly an honor to get to sit down with such a talented and influential photographer and we are excited to share the conversation. Enjoy!
From youth education in bonsai to elite alpine instruction where people's lives are on the line, Joshua Stewart is an educational psychologist who is applying his expertise to a multitude of projects and disciplines. Even though we've been working with Josh for several years now it took sitting down with him on the podcast to fully understand what exactly he does. Ryan and Josh discuss the process of applying psychology, how he processes information, and how Josh takes his knowledge and observations to create strategies that dramatically impact the individuals and organizations he works with. The tangible outcome of Mirai's collaboration with Josh is undeniable, and has created a template for youth education which continues to guide the way The One Tree Project approaches youth programs and participants. Beyond the immediate and obvious, this conversation helped us also recognize the breadth of educational psychology and its limitless application across less considered arenas of thought. Could this field potentially contribute to the “subjective” nature of bonsai appreciation? Could educational psychology assist in improving objective judging? Even without a concrete answer, it's pretty clear applying educational psychology to the great conundrums of bonsai couldn't hurt, and might just be able to help explain some of the greater questions we wrestle with. Who knows, maybe we would even gain a better understanding of ourselves in the process. If you enjoyed the episode, be sure to check out Josh's podcast Evidence in the Wild here to hear from other experts and colleagues in his world of educational psychology.
Moviewallas is on YouTube! Welcome back to Moviewallas – your weekly dose of film reviews, movie news, and general banter (in theaters, on streaming, or in the back of an airplane). This week Joe, Rashmi, and Yazdi are fueled by Costco mango cakes, working through a few new mic-setup quirks, and diving into two very different watches: Scarlet and The Moment. Plus, we're back with “I Can't Find Anything to Watch on Video On Demand” – three non-Netflix picks to rescue your queue. Snack check + production note Yazdi brings individually wrapped mango cakes (dangerously addictive), and Joe shares a quick update on the podcast audio setup as the team tweaks the new recording gear. Streaming Picks – • Just Like Heaven (Paramount+) – Rashmi revisits this warm, early-2000s comfort watch with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo – “like a hug,” and it still holds up. • The Librarians (KPBS on YouTube) – Yazdi recommends this timely documentary about banned books and the librarians caught in the middle, including the very real threats some have faced. • Banned Books and the Librarians Caught in … • Die My Love (MUBI) – Joe champions Lynne Ramsay's polarizing, visceral fever-dream starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson – a film that's less about plot and more about impact. (Even if you don't love it, the performances are the reason to watch.) Scarlet A new animated feature from Mamoru Hosoda (director of Mirai), Scarlet delivers absolutely stunning visuals – the kind you want to pause and frame – with a story that sparked debate. The group agrees the animation is breathtaking, but wrestles with pacing, mythology, and how well the emotional beats translate. If you love ambitious animation (and don't mind a little chaos in the world-building), you'll want to hear where everyone lands. The Moment A mockumentary-style satire set in the pop-music machine, The Moment wins the room with its humor, self-awareness, and industry-side-eye. Even coming in with mixed familiarity on Charli XCX, all three hosts get pulled into the absurdity – with major shout-outs for the comedic timing, the supporting cast, and how sharply it skewers the push-pull between “art” and “commerce.” This one surprised us, and we break down why it works even if you don't know the pop world it's playing in. Like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoy spoiler-light film talk with strong opinions, snack tangents, and the occasional tech gremlin. Show Notes 0:00: Justin and Helen return from hibernation (and attempting to stay warm in the East coast) to resume recording episodes of It’s Not My Fault TheOASG Podcast is Not Popular, and with the break, means catching up to things from even late December to January. The hosts start with once again a scanlation site shutting down, and what this ultimately means considering who was involved (and maybe not Kakao, which gets both hosts explaining how manhwa copyrights are…crazy) News 12:36: MediaOCD will be distributing Discotek Media’s catalog (as much as they can), and based on information online this project seems to have been sped up following a number of home media titles being delisted on Crunchyroll. This gets both hosts speculating on what this means, and why it sometimes now gets harder and harder to support official publishers. 18:59: Netflix continues making some deals as they’ve worked out a partnership with MAPPA and will be working with TOHO (and their new studio) to produce a bunch of works in a couple years 21:35: We got some hiatuses and returns to cover, starting with The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses manga being continued; after just not having any new chapters since 2022, The Girl, the Shovel, and the Evil Eye manga will return and also finish in a couple chapters; Kemono Jihen is taking a one-issue break due to Sho Aimoto suffering from gastroenteritis to start 2026; Phantom Busters will be on break as something’s going on with Neoshoco, the hosts hope they’re ok; The hosts break down what the heck’s going on with The New Prince of Tennis series as it went through some major editor mismanagement, enough to wear there could not be a new chapter in Jump SQ; The Days of Diamond will go on hiatus, no announcement on its return; Bocchi the Rock! was intended to return this month, but Aki Hamaji’s health has not improved enough to return to serialization, so the hiatus will continue; and in final manga hiatuses, Hajime no Ippo’s taking a break, no announcement on when it’ll return. 25:38: Makes sense that Go Nagai will be inducted into this year’s Eisner’s Hall of Fame, took them long enough; Manga creator Hisashi Eguchi apologized in December after tracing allegations were made back in October that had a number of companies suspend working with him; Chitose in the Ramune Bottle’s got some work to do following its delay due to production issues; And apparently A Tale of the Secret Saint needs more work as it’s been pushed from Spring to Fall season; What in the world is going with the Madoka movie? Well no one knows except that’s now been delayed from its release this month to an unannounced date; and the voice of Hitomi Koshigaya, Yumiri Hanamori, stepped down from the role for an undisclosed reason. So for the upcoming Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. anime, there will need to be a new voice for her. 30:53: Talent agency Aoni Production announced that voice actor Kōzō Shioya had died on January 20 due to cerebral hemorrhage — a number of people noted his impact on them and sent their condolences on social media on this difficult loss. Licenses 31:57: Seven Seas and their Wonderful Wednesdays have returned for 2026! Osamu Tezuka’s Black Jack as an oversized Deluxe Edition and a Full Color Selection of Muneyuki Kaneshiro & Yusuke Nomura’s Blue Lock 37:23: Yen Press also decided to start the year off pretty strong as well: Hoku Tomose's List Rouge Masaaki Nakayama's Seeds of Anxiety: Asterisk Sakuhiro's The Crow’s Ballad at Dawn Umi Ruike's Beneath the Fur Akumi Agitogi & Kei Tamura's The Bubble Love of the Mermaid manga Daisuke Motomi's Magic Doctor Rex's Perverted Medical Record Nanigashi Shima & raemz's Love Unseen Beneath the Radiant Night Sky (Yen On) 38:16: Cross Infinite World has licensed these three titles: Mayo Momoyo & Wan Hachipisu's The Brooding Duke's Guide to the Lie-Detecting Lady, Mashimesa Emoto & Nitou Akane's Goodbye, Horrible Fiancé, Hello, Fun Magic School Life! and Hanami Nishine & Renta's Strawberry Princess: The Time Loop Defying Villainess; Abrams ComicArts’ Kana imprint announced they’ve licensed Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Kensuke Nishida’s Jagaan manga; Nao Iori’s Manaka the Human and the Slaughter Robot, Yuto Ito’s Goodbye My Idol, & Manose and Miharu’s Island Rock have been added to MANGA Plus; Crossed Hearts has licensed Akisuke’s The Executioner of Grenimal and Hanami Nishine & Satsuki Amamiya’s The Matchmaker’s Fiancé: My Fiancé Won’t Leave Me Alone While I’m Finding Him The Ideal Bride; and Manga Mavericks announced they’ve licensed Koukoku Brothers's Divine Messengers and Demonic Guardians & Banjo Saitou's Vegetable Sandwich 40:40: Meanwhile, Discotek had a few announcements, and yes, more Lupin the 3rd is a given at this point for them! Streaming News 41:34: The Dangers in My Heart compilation film will be screened in some of the more popular cities this month; Whoever Steals This Book has been acquired by Crunchyroll and will also make its debut at the New York International Children’s Film Festival. 43:11: Remember when Oshi no Ko S3 got picked up by Crunchyroll? What did that mean for HIDIVE since they had the first two seasons? Absolutely nothing apparently since HIDIVE is still streaming it; Justin gets to talk about his excitement about the Umamusume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era being in theaters at the end of the month; And Helen wonders why ALDNOAH.ZERO is back as Crunchyroll has added the English dub — which includes a new episode that aired in Japan last year — to their service. 46:10: A few anime will be on Netflix this year: Kyoto Animation’s Sparks of Tomorrow (in the summer) and Studio KAI’s Ramparts of Ice (in Spring); 47:05: So there were two anime that aired in Japan last year — April Showers Bring May Flowers and Monster Strike: Deadverse Reloaded — that was not picked up by an official service…until now! Prime now is streaming these anime; Fawesome began streaming the Despair of the Monster indie anime film sometime this past December, but at the moment only those in Canada and the UK can watch it. Weird News 49:18: More news about live-action Gundam keeps pouring out, and it gets even closer to becoming a real thing; Pokémon and Hatsune Miku is a thing again; The X (Twitter) continues to just get worse and its editing image feature for lots of people had a couple artists saying they do not want to put their illustrations on there. 55:36: The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio is over!…in print! It’s still ongoing digitally though. This gets Helen wondering however… 57:48: Sugar Sugar Rune has been added to Tubi…BUT there's a reason why it's in the weird news section! So far not at Tai Chi Chasers level, but… 59:32: Rumiko Takahashi made a trip to San Francisco some time ago (which can probably mean VIZ and her are cooking something) and visited a museum — somehow Bible Black is brought up in this part (Why Helen, just why); Justin wonders if Sazae-san is gearing up to be released overseas moving forward now that it’ll see its first overseas release in Taiwan; Otakon announced on Bluesky on Thursday the event is no longer allowing the sale of fan art in its dealers room beginning with the 2026 event, and Helen explains what this means. 1:05:17: Anime can make famous actors cry — see Michael B. Jordan crying over My Hero Academia — and can have its own category on Jeopardy!. Both hosts wonder if anime has become too mainstream… If there’s anything you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out to us on Twitter (@TheOASG) or comment below with your thoughts! In recent years Hornbeams have grown in appreciation within the bonsai realm. Yet, the more we love them, the fewer we see of them. This, like many topics, has been bouncing around the workshop at Mirai lately. So, on a recent calm afternoon, Brandon, Brock, and Ryan seized the moment to commemorate their thoughts and explore the topic. What came from their conversation was a breakdown of Hornbeam evolution and prevalence in the Kokufu. From discussing the merits, the levels, and the aesthetics of the Kokufu's most interesting Korean Hornbeam through the years to equal parts gossip and bonsai theology, their conversation ranged wide and far. They even squeezed in a fall wrap-up for good measure. Follow along in your Kokufu books and take a deep dive into the world of Korean Hornbeams and a summary of the fall happenings at Mirai. Enjoy the listen! To learn more about growing Hornbeam Mirai Live has you covered. First week is on us.
There's getting to know someone for the first time and the unveiling of personal stories and background that come with introductions; call it a familiarization of sorts. And then there are discussions with old friends and familiar faces where you pick up where you left off and continue to evolve the conversation. We recently had the opportunity to be a guest on one of our favorite bonsai podcasts, Bonsai Time, hosted by Kevin Faris and Ryan Houston. Kevin goes back a long way with Mirai and has dove deep into bonsai in North America through his experience as well as through his podcast. We knew the conversation would go places other podcasts don't and Kevin and Houston would ask questions of Ryan perhaps other podcasters might not have the familiarity or comfort level to discuss. The boys at Bonsai Time did not disappoint. From family and life outside of bonsai to the depths of Ryan's experiences as an apprentice, a professional, and the bonsai community at large the podcast winds seamlessly through the many aspects of living bonsai as a lifestyle and all the bumps along the way. It was thoroughly enjoyable. If you haven't listened the Bonsai Time be sure to check them out here. Subscribe and support their mission to continue shining light on all the good people and positive stories that exist inside this weird and wacky endeavor of bonsai in North America. We are excited for you all to have a listen and enjoy!
I had the grand opportunity to cover the 50th Aniversary of the Toronto International Film Festival. With animation being one of my favourite topics in the world, I am grateful that I was able to join this epic conversation and now share it with you. :) DIALOGUES: Creative Visions in Animated Feature Films is a specific TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) event/panel where acclaimed directors like Domee Shi (Pixar's Elio), Mamoru Hosoda (Belle, Summer Wars), and Momoko Seto (Dandelion's Odyssey) discuss balancing artistic vision with studio realities, creative authorship, and the future of bold animation, showcasing diverse global perspectives. This dialogue offers insights into the challenges and triumphs of making visionary animated features, featuring both indie and major studio voices. From intimate, auteur-driven projects to collaborations with major studios, discover how directors Domee Shi (Elio), Momoko Seto (Dandelion's Odyssey), Mamoru Hosoda (Scarlet), and Kid Koala (Space Cadet) balance artistic integrity with industry realities, and what it takes to make animated films that captivate audiences and spark global imaginations. Join us for a candid conversation about creative authorship, industry pressures, and the evolving space for bold, visionary animation. Domee Shi began as a story intern at Pixar Animation Studios in 2011 and was soon hired as a story artist on the Academy Award–winning Inside Out. She went on to work on The Good Dinosaur, Incredibles 2, and Toy Story 4. In 2015, she was greenlit to write and direct Bao, which won the Oscar for Best Animated Short. He has worked on numerous animated series and directed the features One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island (05), The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (06), Summer Wars (09), Wolf Children (12), The Boy and the Beast (15) which played at the Festival, Mirai (18), and Belle (21). Scarlet (25) is his latest film. Kid Koala (Eric San) is a Montreal-based DJ, composer, and graphic novelist. He directed Space Cadet, his first animated feature based on his graphic novel, which premiered at the Berlinale and will have its North American Premiere at TIFF 50. Known for genre-defying albums and live shows, he has also scored acclaimed films, series, and video games. There are many podcasts popping up in bonsai but recently Mirai became aware of one in particular whose host brought a different level to the game of bonsai discussion. The Bonsai Builders Podcast is the brainchild of bonsai addict and passionate practitioner Addison Galambos. Through Addison's innate curiosity, contemplative wit, and thorough preparation, we found Bonsai Builders to be something new, something different, and something more in depth. Naturally, when Addison approached Mirai to do a deep dive on bonsai culture, aesthetics, judging, and other tasty subject matter, it was tough to turn down. Mirai x Bonsai Builders are releasing part 1 of our conversation in collaboration on both platforms. We dig deep into trees mirroring people, culture clashes in design, and how judging can make or break a show. However, to hear part 2 of our conversation, and easily the best part of the discussion, head over to the Bonsai Builders podcast here. Give Bonsai Builders a like and subscribe, listen to the rest of Ryan's conversation with Addison, and send the Builders some love to help an up-and-coming talent continue to grow. Each time we talk about complex subject matter we tease out new themes and evolve our understanding. We are confident this conversation is a major step in the continued journey to uncovering the depth and power of bonsai as an art form. Enjoy! Brandon Roberts joins us at the very beginning of his apprenticeship—already having demonstrated exceptional commitment with a six-hour round trip, twice a week, for three months, just to study bonsai at Mirai. In this open and thoughtful conversation, we explore the meaning of apprenticeship: its gravity, its rewards, and the vulnerability of sharing it publicly. Brandon brings a contagious energy that reignites the passion behind the practice, reminding us of the purpose that drives this path. This episode marks week one of what we hope will be a long and meaningful chapter—an origin story, a time capsule, and the start of a pursuit that will echo through the work, the trees, and the small moments in between.
This week we are joined by Kyle Lefton, Security Researcher from Akamai, who is diving into their work on "Two Botnets, One Flaw - Mirai Spreads Through Wazuh Vulnerability." Akamai researchers have observed active exploitation of CVE-2025-24016, a critical RCE vulnerability in Wazuh, by two Mirai-based botnets. The campaigns highlight how quickly attackers are adapting proof-of-concept exploits to spread malware, underscoring the urgency of patching vulnerable systems. One botnet appears to target Italian-speaking users, suggesting regionally tailored operations.
