Edge Of Tomorrow Minute

In Minute 22, the intro gets accidentally "sexy".  We appologize.  The minute begins with "The Bitch Squad" exiting a downed dropship and ends with Rita in a Hero's Pose. We get our first exposure to a Mimic in action, talk about the physics of Rita's "sword" and theorize about the mass and fighting capabilities of a Mimic. A nice discussion of the fx in Edge of Tomorrow, including the Tentacle Algorithm: https://www.fxguide.com/fxfeatured/live-die-repeat-the-effects/ Some video showing the algorithm at work in the animatic stage: https://youtu.be/iiKeTPL6HPk?t=79

Hello and welcome to Cabin Boy Minute: Minute 18! In Minute 18, Nathanial and Cappy awake from a communal night’s rest, the crew and Nathanial are introduced, and our fancy lad comes to grips with his new reality. Brian, Robert and Scott continue their nautical education, including the mending of nets and international stowaway laws. A Lost in Space reference is unearthed, we spend a moment in late ‘60s France and wrestle with Adam Resnick’s feelings about the movie. As we perform our analysis of the scene, we realize that we can no longer simply be swept along and begin to question our questions. But given the gravity of this task, we still let you know who won the scene, the nature of alternative realities, the value of GPM and whether the scene was funny. Minute 5 We are either saved or not saved. We are either serving God or not serving God There is no middle ground. Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters. Matthew 13:44 and 45 The Kingdom of God is like land with a hidden treasure. It is like the pearl of great value. Minute 32 Two minutes from Minute 32 to Minute 34 Peter had the keys to the Kingdom of God. In Acts 2:36 he pulled out the keys to Heaven. In Minute 45 We learned that there are only three ways to get into the Palace. You are born there, you get married or you are adopted into the family. Well, isn’t that what it means to be Christians? We are born again We are the bride of Christ And we have been adopted into the family of God (ends 45:30) Minute 46 We heard testimony of a young girl who told the world tht she had stood outside the palace gate and held onto those iron bars., watching the soldiers. Her name was Megan. Are you ready to put everything up for sale and say “Give me Jesus”? I will follow Jesus and there is no turning back. Can we gather around the altar? I seek first the kingdom. That’s what happens when you get into the Kingdom.
