Jego zdaniem kluczowe znaczenie miały wybory prezydenckie, które z jednej strony ocaliły dotychczasowy układ konstytucyjny, z drugiej wywołały głębokie zmiany po prawej stronie sceny politycznej.„To był dobry rok dla Polski, bo dzięki wygranej Karola Nawrockiego wiele niszczycielskich scenariuszy udało się powstrzymać” – mówił publicysta. Jak dodawał, zwycięstwo kandydata popieranego przez PiS zablokowało możliwość pełnej dominacji obozu rządzącego. „Można sobie tylko wyobrazić, jak daleko posunąłby się obecny obóz władzy, gdyby Rafał Trzaskowski podpisywał wszystkie możliwe ustawy”.Bagiński zwracał uwagę, że jeszcze rok wcześniej wygrana Nawrockiego była traktowana jako scenariusz czysto teoretyczny. „Rok temu mało kto wyobrażał sobie jego zwycięstwo. Nawrocki miał wtedy mniejsze poparcie niż Prawo i Sprawiedliwość” – przypominał. Dziś, jak zauważył, PiS „może tylko pomarzyć o takim poparciu, jakie ma obecnie prezydent”.Jednocześnie dziennikarz nie miał wątpliwości, że z perspektywy instytucjonalnej był to rok destrukcyjny. Wskazywał na działania rządu wobec Trybunału Konstytucyjnego, Sądu Najwyższego i Krajowej Rady Sądownictwa. „Tyle złego, ile w tym roku wyrządzono polskim instytucjom, wcześniej robili zaborcy, okupanci czy komuniści” – oceniał ostro.Pytany o politycznych zwycięzców 2025 roku, Bagiński wskazał jednoznacznie na Karola Nawrockiego i Prawo i Sprawiedliwość, choć – jak zaznaczył – sukces był przede wszystkim personalny. „Zwyciężył Karol Nawrocki – także dzięki swoim osobistym przymiotom – ale to PiS wskazał kandydata i poniósł ryzyko” – mówił. W tym sensie, jak dodał, był to również sukces szeroko rozumianej prawicy, „do spółki z Konfederacją, a nawet z Konfederacją Grzegorza Brauna”.Duża część rozmowy dotyczyła właśnie fenomenu wzrostu Grzegorza Brauna. Bagiński przypominał, że tuż po wyborach prezydenckich wielu komentatorów uznawało jego wynik za jednorazowy wybryk. „Wydawało się, że to coś chwilowego. Tymczasem dziś widać, że Braun wszedł w fazę trwałego wzrostu” – podkreślał. Jak tłumaczył, polityk ten najpierw zaczął „karmić się elektoratem PiS”, a obecnie odbiera poparcie Konfederacji Sławomira Mentzena i Krzysztofa Bosaka.Zdaniem Bagińskiego problemem nie jest jednak sam Braun, lecz słabość całej klasy politycznej. „Coraz większa grupa Polaków jest gotowa zagłosować na kogokolwiek, kto zachwieje obecnym układem” – mówił, przypominając wcześniejsze fale poparcia dla Palikota, Nowoczesnej, Hołowni czy Samoobrony. Jednocześnie ostrzegał, że za wzrostem sondażowym Brauna nie idzie ani spójna oferta programowa, ani zaplecze personalne. „To może skończyć się powtórką z Samoobrony, ale w wersji hardkorowej” – oceniał.W tym kontekście rozmowa zeszła na porównania międzynarodowe – Front Narodowy we Francji czy AfD w Niemczech. Bagiński podkreślał, że izolowanie i demonizowanie takich ruchów często działa odwrotnie niż zamierzano. „Zapora ogniowa powoduje, że te ugrupowania rosną, bo pokazuje nieudolność starej elity” – mówił.Na zakończenie rozmowy dziennikarz studził jednoznaczne prognozy. „Dwa lata do wyborów parlamentarnych to w polityce wieczność” – zaznaczył. Jego zdaniem możliwe są różne scenariusze: od dalszego wzrostu Brauna, przez odbudowę PiS, po konsolidację wokół prezydenta Nawrockiego jako symbolicznego lidera prawej strony. Jednego jednak – jak podkreślił – robić nie wolno. „Nie wolno próbować eliminować Brauna instytucjonalnie. Jeśli około 10 procent Polaków uważa jego poglądy za bliskie, demokracja musi to uszanować”.

US-Präsident Donald Trump hat in Florida den ukrainischen Präsidenten Wolodymyr Selenskyj zu Gesprächen über ein Ende des Ukraine-Kriegs empfangen. Vor Beginn des Treffens in Trumps Residenz Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach sagte der US-Präsident, er sei zuversichtlich, dass eine Einigung erzielt werden könne. Laut Selenskyj soll es bei dem Gespräch um Sicherheits- und wirtschaftliche Vereinbarungen gehen. Er werde auch territoriale Themen zur Sprache bringen, so der ukrainische Präsident. Die russische Seite ist bei dem Gespräch in Florida nicht dabei. Trump hat aber nach eigenen Angaben kurz vor dem Treffen erneut mit Kremlchef Putin telefoniert.

A couple thousand fake documents and ID cards were produced so terrorists could claim affiliation with KPF/01/02 and other special units.
