"Dnes ide o postrannú tému, ktorá nezamestnáva spoločnosť“, tvrdí politológ Radoslav Štefančík. „Je to opäť to jeho dlhodobé – prenáša pozornosť z jednej témy na druhú, no tak, aby vyšpičkoval vášne“, dodáva. „Chystá sa štátny prevrat“ verzus „zakrývajú realitu, preto vytvárajú zástupné témy“ – koalično opozičný diskurz posledných dní. Do toho vstupuje vyše stotisícová ozvena námestí, z ktorých zaznieva „dosť“ a výzva premiérovi odstúp. A odpoveď Roberta Fica? Po tom, čo v Slovenskom rozhlase prepočul zostrih svojich vulgárností, veľmi jasne zareagoval na požiadavku námestí: na svoje odstúpenie dôvod nevidí – nie sme podľa neho v roku 2018 a republiku si podľa neho rozvracať nedáme. Už o pár hodín však prišiel krok koaličného Hlasu , ktorý priviedol jeho vládu do pozície menšinovej. A následne vynášanie zo stranícke j kuchyne – že Hlas pilotuje prezident Pellegrini. Technickým riešením situácie majú byť podľa premiéra predčasné voľby. Dokáže ich odvrátiť? Téma pre Radoslava Štefančíka, politológa Ekonomickej univerzity.Nebol by to Robert Fico, keby niečo nevymyslel, tvrdí politológ. Dôkazom je už samotný fakt, že je štvrtýkrát premiérom. Aktuálnym ťahom má byť jeho otváranie témy muža a ženy ako jediných pohlaví, či rovnako ukotvovanie manželstva ako jedinečného zväzku muža a ženy do ústavy. „Dnes ide o postrannú tému, ktorá nezamestnáva spoločnosť“, tvrdí politológ. „Je to opäť to jeho dlhodobé – prenáša pozornosť z jednej témy na druhú, no tak, aby vyšpičkoval vášne“, dodáva Radoslav Štefančík. Tvrdí, že ak sa témy aktuálne chytá opozičné KDH, pre ktoré je téma prirodzenou, vyrušuje ho aktuálne načasovanie. „Momentálne nie je vhodná doba, pretože takto len legimitizujú to, čo robí Robert Fico. Zo strany KDH je to tak, ako keby nepoznali všetky svetové strany, tak ako ich pozná Robert Fico“, dodáva. Politológ je kritický k premiérovým vyjadreniam na adresu Ukrajincov, ktorí tu utejakú pred vojnou. „V Ukrajincoch našiel obetného baránka a projektuje do nich vinu za všetky problémy a vytvára veľmi silný negatívny vzťah časti domácej populácie voči nim“, hovorí. „Viem si predstaviť, že takýmto spôsobom začínala genocída Židov v Európe pred druhou svetovou vojnou“, dopĺňa. We see how Jack is feeling after the Nebraska volleyball win, and the announcement that Nebraska will be playing at Arrowhead.

This week, we are joined by Dr. Ami Klin, the Director of the Marcus Autism Center and a leading expert in autism research. We will be discussing his groundbreaking work with Dr. Warren Jones, utilizing eye-tracking technology to visualize and measure social engagement in individuals with autism. Ami Klin, Ph.D. is the Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar Professor and Chief of the Division of Autism and Developmental Disabilities at Emory University School of Medicine, and Director of the Marcus Autism Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of London, and completed clinical and research post-doctoral fellowships at the Yale Child Study Center. He directed the Autism Program at the Yale Child Study Center, Yale University School of Medicine, until 2010, where he was the Harris Professor of Child Psychology & Psychiatry. The Marcus Autism Center is one of the largest centers of clinical care and science focused on autism and related conditions in the country. Dr. Klin's primary research activities focus on social mind and social brain, and on developmental aspects of autism from infancy through adulthood. These studies include a longstanding collaboration with Dr. Warren Jones focused on novel science-based technologies developed and clinically validated to address limited access to high quality early diagnosis and assessment of autism. This week the crabs are back as Danielle shares the 1978 Guy N. Smith novel Killer Crabs. We open in Australia where local fisherman Klin is super upset, and maybe a bit racist, about the Japanese poachers stealing his fish. After refusing the siren call of a woman to instead indulge his hatred of the poachers, his concerns are quickly replaced as the fisherman becomes the fished! We're of course talking about giant killer crabs as big as a small car! Or an elephant! Or two sheep! While no one can agree on the size of these crabs, they all agree that, despite the events of the last book having happened, no one has heard about these before. Luckily, Dr. Cliff Davenport, now a renowned crabspert, is here from Britain to help. Has he brought the amazing poison used to defeat the crabs last time? No, but he has brought humanity's oldest and greatest weapon: Fire! But before easily dispatching of the crab menace we first need to take a brief detour into an entirely unnecessary but amazing plot about a bank robbery, stolen identity, the world's most insatiable woman, and Harvey Logan: Game Hunter. While no one can explain how these crabs keep getting around the world's oceans unnoticed, we are sure of one thing: We're super delighted that they do so we can read these books!
