Im Ockstädter Wald bei Friedberg in der Wetterau ist ein 57 Jahre alter Radfahrer tödlich verunglückt. Der Mann ist gestern in einem Waldstück nördlich der Kuhkopf-Hütte unterwegs, als er schwer stürzt - vermutlich wegen eines medizinischen Notfalls. Über 140.000 Euro für Limburgs Vereine - die Stadt greift Sportlern und Kulturschaffenden wieder finanziell unter die Arme. Der größte Teil, knapp 127.000 Euro, geht an 38 Sportvereine in der Stadt. In den Kommunen und Orten, in denen die Landesgartenschau Oberhessen stattfindet, wurden Anfang dieses Jahres hunderte sogenannte Nussecken eingepflanzt. Die Bäumchen, auch Nussecken genannt, wurden als Trio in einem Dreieck in die Erde eingesetzt: Walnüsse, Esskastanien und Baumhasel. Um diese Jungbäume kümmern sich jetzt bei den heißen Temperaturen und der Trockenheit mehrere ehrenamtliche Helferinnen und Helfer.

La Fórmula 1 vuelve esta semana en uno de esos circuitos que no necesitan presentación. Spa-Francorchamps es historia, velocidad, desnivel, clima imprevisible y una de las pistas favoritas de pilotos y aficionados. Sin embargo, volvemos a lo que llevamos temiendo (y sufriendo) toda la temporada: veremos un espectáculo o la F1 dará “el espectáculo”. Pronósticos en el primer episodio de la semana del Podcast Técnica Fórmula 1. Pregunta de examen. Spa llega este año con una pregunta incómoda: ¿qué imagen darán los nuevos coches de 2026 en un trazado tan exigente para la unidad de potencia? El Gran Premio de Bélgica aparece después de una semana de descanso (lo que antes era lo habitual y ahora nos parece raro) y con el Campeonato en un momento interesante. Mercedes sigue siendo la referencia, Ferrari ha demostrado que puede plantarle cara en determinados escenarios y Red Bull intenta no perder el paso. P ero Spa no es un circuito cualquiera. Aquí no basta con tener un buen coche en curva lenta o acertar con la estrategia. Hay que combinar eficiencia aerodinámica, potencia, estabilidad en curva rápida y capacidad para desplegar energía durante mucho tiempo. Y ahí está el gran temor del fin de semana. La recta de Kemmel, después de Eau Rouge y Raidillon, será uno de los puntos más observados. No sería extraño ver a estos monoplazas levantar mucho antes de la chicane o quedarse sin despliegue eléctrico antes de lo que al aficionado le gustaría. En otros circuitos, el clipping y el superclipping han sido más o menos visibles según la configuración de la pista y la realización televisiva. En Spa será más difícil esconderlo. Eso no significa que el Gran Premio vaya a ser necesariamente malo. La Fórmula 1 de 2026 está obligando a los pilotos y a los equipos a competir de otra manera. Ya no se trata sólo de tener velocidad punta o de abrir el DRS en el momento adecuado. Ahora importa mucho cómo se recupera energía, dónde se despliega y qué parte de la vuelta se sacrifica para tener más potencia en otra. Es una competición más compleja, quizá menos intuitiva, pero también con un margen nuevo para la inteligencia estratégica. La cuestión es si eso basta para emocionar. Spa es un circuito que siempre ha premiado el valor y la confianza. Ver a los coches gestionar en zonas donde tradicionalmente se esperaba velocidad plena puede resultar frustrante. La Fórmula 1 necesita que sus grandes escenarios no pierdan identidad. Si en Silverstone ya fue extraño ver a los coches levantar en curvas míticas, Bélgica puede plantear una sensación parecida en las rectas y zonas de alta velocidad. Varios frentes abiertos. En lo deportivo, el fin de semana llega con varios focos abiertos. Mercedes debe confirmar si conserva su ventaja en un circuito largo, rápido y muy completo. Su coche ha sido el más sólido de la temporada, pero la fiabilidad ha dejado dudas y Ferrari ha sabido aprovechar algunas oportunidades. En Spa, cualquier pequeño déficit puede hacerse grande. Ferrari, por su parte, afronta una prueba importante. La Scuderia ha alternado carreras brillantes con fines de semana más grises. Leclerc y Hamilton necesitan confirmar que el coche rojo no depende sólo de ventanas muy concretas de funcionamiento. Si Ferrari vuelve a estar cerca en Bélgica, la pelea por la parte alta del campeonato ganará mucho interés. Red Bull también llega con presión. Verstappen siempre es una amenaza en Spa, pero el equipo necesita algo más que la inspiración de su piloto. Hadjar está aportando puntos importantes al primer equipo, y eso ayuda a sostener el proyecto, pero Bélgica será un examen real para saber si las últimas mejoras permiten mirar de nuevo hacia la victoria o sólo sirven para resistir. McLaren puede tener también una oportunidad. El equipo suele moverse bien en circuitos de alta eficiencia, aunque esta temporada le está faltando convertir presencia en golpes contundentes. Norris y Piastri necesitan un fin de semana fuerte para no quedarse en tierra de nadie entre los favoritos y la zona media. ¿Y el tiempo?
