Entre les deux ans de Covid, l'isolement à cause de leur emploi du temps chargé et les problèmes financiers… Les étudiants sont en constant état d'anxiété. C'est en tout cas ce que révèle une enquête CSA publiée en juillet 2022 et menée pour le groupe Intériale et LMDE : 68% des étudiants déclarent souffrir d'au moins un symptôme dépressif et sont en situation de mal être. Le Covid est en réalité venu amplifier un problème déjà existant en aggravant les problèmes financiers des étudiants mais aussi leurs interactions sociales. Néanmoins, dans la même enquête menée en 2019, les chiffres étaient déjà alarmants, 30% des sondés avaient des idées suicidaires, un pourcentage qui a augmenté de 6 points depuis. De plus, l'étude de 2022 révèle une réelle anxiété quant au futur de la société. Mais ce mal être c'est surtout à cause du Covid non ? Comment leur venir en aide ?
