Périscope radio présente "Happy Hour" une émission radio en direct du Périscope avec les musicien·nes qui font vivre les musiques jazz et improvisées pour discuter de leurs projets, de leur parcours artistique et de leur rapport à la scène. Happy Hour invitait le 03 Octobre 2020 le tromboniste Samuel Blaser et son trio en compagnie du guitariste Marc Ducret et le batteur Peter Bruun.

Du 21 au 27 septembre 2020, le Lieu multiple a accueilli,Sylvain Darrifourcq en  résidence de création et Fixin, deux concert (le 27) en partage avec Jazz à Poitiers dans le cadre du Circuit, un événement Carte Culture Percussionniste, improvisateur et compositeur, Sylvain Darrifourcq  (né en 1979) fait son apprentissage en tant que percussioniste  classique. ll opte tardivement pour la batterie, découvre le rock le  jazz et les musiques improvisées. Figure reconnue de cette génération  d'improvisateurs curieuse des frontières, il est un musicien très  demandé. Il a collaboré avec de nombreuses personnalités françaises  européennes et américaines telles Joëlle Léandre, Tony Malaby, Michel Portal, Louis Sclavis, Marc Ducret, Andrea Parkins, Aksoh S, Kit Downes… En 2009, il obtient une « Victoire du Jazz » avec le Emile Parisien Quartet, dont il a été le batteur pendant plus de 10 ans. Nous sommes le mardi 12 Novembre 2019 et le Périscope ouvre ce soir ces portes à un trio attendu. En effet le saxophoniste Stéphane Payen se produit aux côtés du batteur américain Tom Rainey avec qui il entretient des conversations artistiques depuis plusieurs années. A cette occasion, le duo invite un autre solide compagnon de route à savoir le guitariste Marc Ducret pour proposer une rencontre exclusive. A eux trois, il est évident que ces musiciens forment un repère ou du moins une cartographie des chemins qu’à pu emprunter le jazz et les musiques improvisées sur ces dernières décennies. After focusing on Enrico Rava's discography as leader, this week we explore his more than five decades of work as co-leader & sideman. The statuture of an artist can be measured not only through the albums s/he has recorded but also by the caliber of the musicians he has played with. There are not many who can claim to have collaborated with such a remarkable and diverse range of musicians like Cecil Taylor, Archie Shepp, Lee Konitz, Gianluigi Trovesi, Franco D'Andrea, Henri Texier, Aldo Romano, Marc Ducret, and Gato Barbieri, to name just a few. During the first part of the show we focus on his work in Europe. During the second part we explore his electric projects, duos, in particular with pianists, and work with heavy-weights of the NYC avant-garde scene like Cecil Taylor, Archie Shepp and Jimmy Lyons. Estrenamos "Taktlos Zürich 2017", grabación del trío formado por el trombonista suizo Samuel Blaser con el guitarrista francés Marc Ducret y el baterista danés Peter Bruun. El disco recoge un concierto en mayo de 2017 en el Festival Taktlos de la ciudad suiza, y sale a la venta el próximo enero. Formación imprescindible, el quinteto Snakeoil del saxofonista Tim Berne presenta "Incidentals". La formación incluye a Oscar Noriega (clarinetes), Ryan Ferreira (guitarra), Matt Mitchell (piano y electrónicas) y Ches Smith (batería y percusión). Contar con violinistas como Mark Feldman le permite al saxofonista integrar las cuerdas en su magnífico "Imaginary cities" con su Underground Orchestra; el guitarrista Joel Harrison le montó un String choir para la música de Paul Motian; Bill Frisell se balanceó entre ellas en su Sign of life junto al 858 Quartet.
