My name is Nhlanhla Khumalo I live in Kagiso. I school at JDK high school in Krugersdorp, I'm am 14 years old I'm a very humble and a respectful person and love music. Everything that has to do with art inspires me. I play for a church band called C. O. G brass band where I started playing in 2021. At the age of 7 I started playing trumpet it a field band I later stopped because I was very small. And then I continued at the age of nine in a field band but later stopped. I got a personal coach, his name is Bonolo but I only started with him this year January, we rehearse once a week there. I can play almost all horns but my favourite is Alto Saxophone because I can express myself better playing it. I want to see myself as young as I am, playing everywhere even owning my own location band as well as an orchestra because I believe I can help others as young as I am to shift their focus from things like smoking, doing drugs and alcohol by teaching them how to play because I have the ability of writing songs still learning but I do write as well arrange and compose. I want to learn further even go to orchestra my wish is to have my own Alto Saxophone instrument that will be my dream come true. I'm inspired again by my late father Zane Dlamini he was a player and a couch for band church he used to write good music I take after him I can say but music is my life I also sing for a community choir as a lead vocalist. My favourite singer is Jake and my favourite Saxophone for now is Mduduzi Khumalo. All I have been doing is through support of my family My mum Basetsana Khumalo, my Dad Mac Donald Molefe as well as Mada and Father wich are my grandparents and my whole family I love u guys not forgetting Moruti Masakwani and COG team Brazilians.

EFF leader Julius Malema held a media briefing on Thursday where he reacted to the arrest warrant issued for Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is expected to visit SA in August to attend a Brics summit. Malema also addressed the party's national shutdown held on Monday, which many have called a failure despite the EFF declaring it a success.
Leader of the Soweto Parliament Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini says he won't tolerate “nonsense” as he counteracts the EFF's national shutdown. From the early hours on Monday Dlamini was on the streets in Soweto to “protect” the area during EFF leader Julius Malema's “revolution”. He claimed several bottle stores were bombed in the area. He said his home was bombed and he accused the EFF of wanting to kill his family.
Soweto Parliament leader, Nhlanhla Lux Dlamini's home was attacked in the early hours of this morning. Dlamini claims at least two bombs were thrown at his home. Meanwhile, Police Minister, Bheki Cele, says the matter has been handed over to the Hawks to investigate and has also made it clear that at this time he cannot link the bombings to the current protest.

Meet Nhlanhla Ndlovu the founder of Hustlenomics, a for-profit impact driven social enterprise that's dedicated to replacing informal backyard shacks in the South African townships with formal durable houses for low-income households. So Nhlanhla himself grew up in a township having to share a living space with 12 other siblings and relatives. When he built his own shack in his family's backyard to escape the crowded living arrangement he got to experience himself the poor living conditions in such an informal backyard shack. In the interview Nhlanhla shares How he managed to build a social enterprise while many of his childhood friends either went to prison or died How learning how to learn anything helped him become a computer expert as well as identify business and grant opportunities How competition in his market drove him to become ever more innovative with his enterprise and building techniques And how he and his team plan to convert informal backyard shacks into formal houses without any cost to the homeowners. We also speak about how role models and the awareness of opportunities can make the difference between a life of crime and a life of contribution and so much more. There is a ton of gold in this interview and we hope that you find this conversation as insightful and inspiring as we did. And now, without further ado, enter Nhlanhla Ndlovu.
On March 26th, 2013, the body of Nhlanhla Gasa, a politically-connected millionaire businessman, was spotted floating in the Tugela River on KwaZulu Natal's north coast, and, not far away, his burnt-out Jaguar was discovered. How to forgive and accept yourself after making mistakes that ultimately alter the curse of your life and lead you down a different path than the one you had set and prepared for yourself in your mind. The episode looks at how to deal with and accept the past with full knowledge that there's nothing that can be done to amend it, practicing self love through having empathy for yourself practicing the same patience you extend to others when they are going through a tough time to yourself. Being brave enough to engage your inner critic in a real way, identifying your short comings and realising that you are human at the end of the day and accepting that fact. Taking the time out to identify where all these feelings are coming from and the events that may have hurt you and learning how to accept apologies that you have never received for you own sake, to get a sense of closure and a freedom from the burden. Once these have been done you can being to regroup and put you best foot forward as you will be anchored in the present while embracing the possibilities the future holds.
In this episode Nhlanhla and I close off the conversation on purpose. We touch base on the manufacturer of purpose, how purpose allows you to truly live and many more nuggets.

In this week's episode I jump back to an interview I did at Design Indaba earlier this year but the relevance of the content has not changed and if anything in light of recent events is that much more powerful to listen to. I had the privilege of a half an hour conversation with Nhlanhla Mahlangu known both locally and internationally for his richly choreographed theatrical productions and his work with the famous South African artist William Kentridge. Nhlanhla is the very embodiment of tenacity. Born in Phola Park informal settlement on Johannesburg’s East Rand during the height of Apartheid, he was unable to complete his matric due to the ANC, IFP and the ‘Third Force’ violence in the Nineties, dashing his dreams of going to music school. This is probably the most political conversation I have had on my podcast and it was humbling. I learnt a lot from this short exchange. Nhlanlha does not hold back on his beliefs about the state of our country. He embodies a fierce courage that gently cuts straight to the heart of the matter. Listening to this again 6 months later I am deeply saddened about where we are as a country today, made even worse by the events of our times. Don’t skip this episode, it is important to have the difficult conversations and hear the hard things in order to heal and move forward.

Thee most personal podcast episode, as I hop into my own neurosis to explore how I engage with subject matter and how I make decisions as an individual; the show itself is structured in a way that interrogates the voices in our heads assigning personalities to them. Nhlivo - the podcast host and tries to navigate through the muddy thought patterns his guests are having. Nhlanhla - the content creator, the self proclaimed digital innovator, since no one has called him that, tries to remain composed and answer questions liberally. Nhlizzy - the Trap addict with no filter, is the representation of the child like spirit that exists in this trio, he does his best do disrupt the conversation by throwing elements of drama towards the proceedings. A couple of my childhood if not current friends make an appearance to give context to some of the topics discussed, the show presents a roller-coaster in itself because even I don't know where it's going or where it ends; but isn't that real life.
