The murder of Abigail Williams and Liberty German, now referred to as the Delphi murders, occurred on February 14, 2017, in Delphi, Indiana. The two young girls were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, part of the Delphi Historic Trails, after the girls had disappeared from that trail the previous day. Richard Allen, the man accused of killing the two girls, is on trial for double murder. The trial began Friday, Oct. 18. Sixteen Allen County residents were selected to serve on the jury.
