"But … can you remember a time when there was someone you'd run from, but also someone you'd slow down for, just so they could catch you? Have you ever moved from wanting to escape to wanting to be caught? God chases you. You might think that's true and have believed it for a long time. Maybe you've thought he's been trying to catch you for some time – and not for nice reasons. There's a surprising characteristic about God that might be a brand-new thought for you: the reason God chases you is because He wants to extend grace. He's chasing you down to give you grace. He's not trying to serve a warrant so you can face the consequences of your sin, shame, or guilt. God is chasing you … with grace. We're going through a book called Grace is Greater by Kyle Idleman. We introduced it last week, and this is an incredible quote he shares: “The worst thing that could happen is that you spend your life trying to outrun God because you think He's chasing you to collect what you owe when He's really chasing you to give you what you could never afford.” It's a massive, big idea. You can run away and hide, but grace is relentless. Grace will chase you down … and then you're going to find out … tag, you're it. It's not just for you. Like cooties, it's supposed to spread."

NOEL THOMAS is co-founder and CEO of Dark Watch, a data company focused on anti-trafficking. His faith and conviction opened his heart for the oppressed and marginalized. Noel has been dedicated to researching, educating on, coordinating, and managing the development of counter-trafficking solutions. He addressed the United Nations on human trafficking and sextortion. He lives on Florida's Atlantic Coast. Rob Suggs is a virtuoso of the written word through his versatility, experience, and relentless creativity. His clients have included New York Times best-selling authors such as Kyle Idleman, Lee Strobel, Mark Batterson, David Jeremiah, Bruce Wilkinson, and many others. He has written or collaborated on more than sixty books. In this promising true crime story of big tech combatting human trade by Noel Thomas and Rob Suggs, Dark Traffic ushers the public into the next phase of anti-trafficking efforts to stop what has evolved into a 150 billion dollar industry involving a complex network of organized crime trafficking sex, labor, and human organs. It has become an all too prevalent and pervasive presence with a world wide grip reaching out to seize the vulnerable, powerless, and marginalized through the Internet and the dark web. Not your average book on trafficking—this is an exclusive look at the side of human trafficking you've never known, and how technology is being used to fight the war. Because the game has changed, and we must change with it. As co-founder and CEO of Dark Watch, author Noel Thomas has led United States law enforcement and the judicial system onto the new battleground, where high-tech data analysis is changing how criminals are caught and prosecuted. Offering an insider's view on the battle, Dark Traffic is Noel Thomas's plea to a public primarily unaware of the destruction and close proximity of trafficking, seeking to pull back the curtain of what's happening in our own backyards and ignite a righteous anger that calls readers to step up, learn more, and do more. “This book was written to bridge the information gap,” Thomas writes, “and, consequently, the outage gap. Lives are destroyed in large numbers, and we need to raise an army of awareness and determination to fight this enemy who is thriving in the shadows of our culture.” More than just a report from the battlefield, Dark Traffic is an urgent call for more people to join in the fight.Find out more about Dark Watch - https://darkwatch.io/Dark Traffic can be purchased wherever you find get books.

How do you know when your way isn't working? What are the signs that tell you that perhaps you aren't abiding in God and instead relying on your own efforts to get through life? For pastor and author Kyle Idleman, it took a friend suggesting he see an executive coach before he realized that the indicator light of his life was on and that he needed to make some adjustments. There were so many signs that were suggesting that he was trying to force his way in life and leadership instead of living out of a deep abidance in Christ. It was through his own personal struggle that he wrote, When Your Way Isn't Working: Finding Purpose and Contentment through Deep Connection with Jesus. In it, he helps others recognize when their way isn't working and how remaining connected to Jesus is the key to a fruitful life. In this insightful conversation, Davey talks with Kyle about how to follow Jesus' example in beginning our days, what some of the indicators may be that our way isn't working, and how to course correct before reaching a breaking point. If you find yourself trying to force your way through life and feel anxious, exhausted and disconnected, this episode will help you reconnect with Jesus so that you can live from a place of abiding instead of striving. Surrendering Our Children to the Lord: A Message for Parents for Father's Day with Guest Kyle Idleman With Father's Day happening this weekend, I wanted to invite my friend, Kyle Idleman on the show to have a conversation about what it practically means to surrender our children to the Lord. Together we have a powerful conversation about this topic that I am confident will bless you. P.S. – Invite all the dads! Hey friends, welcome to the Hearing Jesus Podcast. Do you sometimes doubt if you are truly hearing God's voice or if it's really your own? Do you wonder how you can know the difference? Do you struggle to feel confident in your relationship with God and what He says in his word? Do you sometimes feel stagnant or like you hit a wall in your spiritual life? Hey, I'm your host, Rachael Groll: missionary, author, pastor, and life coach. And I have been there. I, too, was doubting God's voice in my own life. I, too, felt insecure about the things I thought God might be calling me to do. I wanted to make a difference in the world and be obedient to what God was calling me to do, but I wasn't quite sure how to figure out what exactly that was. I kept telling myself that I was wasting time trying to figure it out or waiting for Him to show me. Or that I wasn't qualified to do the things I thought He might be telling me to do. The answer for me was found in the pages of the Bible, as I learned how to understand what it was actually saying. If you are ready to grow in your faith and to step confidently into the calling God has for you, then join me as we dig deep into God's word so you can learn to live out your faith in your everyday life. Friend, you are loved, you are cherished, and you are His. The Hearing Jesus Podcast will encourage and equip you to step into the calling God has for your life, living out your faith in the everyday. Together we will break down walls that keep us from growing spiritually. We will dig deep into our Bibles to understand and connect the Scriptures to our lives. We will boldly obey what God calls us to do, walking through doors that only He can open. Join me for your daily dose of faith, honesty, and prayer. Need to chat one on one? In her warm, conversational style, Rachael ties together her life experience, knowledge of the Scriptures, and her compassion for women to encourage us and enable us to become the women God has called us to be. It's been almost thirty-four years ago that a mentor of mine reintroduced me to a passage that would become central to my understanding of the Christian life and ministry. I'm talking about John 15, where Jesus calls himself the true vine and invites us, as the branches, to make ourselves at home in him. There are so many words and phrases in that passage that God has used as spiritual guidance in a lot of different seasons of my life. That's why I'm glad to talk to Kyle Idleman about his new book When Your Way Isn't Working. The whole of the book is a creative, thoughtful and very practical reflection on the wisdom of this gospel passage. Apart from Jesus, we can live very busy lives, but we won't live very fruitful ones. Our guest ,Kyle Idleman, is a senior pastor at Southeast Christian Church, one of the largest churches in America, and a bestselling author of several books including One at a Time, Gods at War, and End of Me. Not A Fan, his award-winning book, sold over 1.3 million copies and sparked a movement among believers.
