In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, Beau Henderson talks about building wealth and living a rich life and shares the roadmap to unlocking it, tackles the importance of having financial literacy, and finding out the true meaning of rich and fulfilling life! Beau Henderson is a Financial Advisor & Founder of Rich Life Advisors, helps clients across the United States approaching retirement with a strategy to save more money, pay less in taxes, giving retirement coaching and retirement planning. He is a best-selling author of several books including The RichLife: Ten Investments for True Wealth, The Roadmap to a RichLife, The 5 Thieves That Will Steal Your RichLife, The RichLife Stewardship Principle and Masterful Communication For Success With Business and Life with Dr. Bill Lampton, and the host of The RichLife Show, a retirement consultant, money and business coach.  He has helped over 3,000 clients to not just improve their relationship with money but to live their unique definition of a fulfilled life with purpose. As a media contributor, Beau's message of the RichLife has been featured in media outlets including The Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, CNBC, and MarketWatch. Beau is very intentional in investing meaningful experiences, investing in physical health, and investing in financial literacy. He believes in having financial planning is really significant to move towards a financial goal. If you want to do something do it,  there's no better time than now. Get on the path of creating a roadmap to unlocking a rich life. Identify your clear definition of rich life because it will light you up, gives you energy, and a sense of empowerment. But be honest with yourself and don't let your unconscious side affected by negative things like mistakes and beliefs affect your plans, actions, and principles. Then, learn how to create income, handle it, sustain, grow, and leverage it.  Make sure to create expenses on what's left, and don't accumulate debt that you can't afford. If you have an issue managing a thousand dollars then you'll have the same issue managing thousands in the future. The money thing starts working when your philosophy changes. When money, investing, savings, and something doesn't work, it doesn't mean you're a failure. Don't be afraid to try, fail, learn, get feedback, try again. Do it repeatedly and just continue giving yourself opportunities.  However, monitor on what you're doing to make sure you're on your goal, do you need to change your goal, and what lessons you've learned. Make sure you're putting your business in a good position, your business partners, your family, and look for opportunities where you can mitigate risks. On the other hand, Beau learned the philosophy of life - you don't have to choose between successful with money and success in life, make sure you'll use the latter to live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling to you. If not, you'll look back with a lot of regret in life. He is proud of looking back that he had helped a million kids got expose about financial literacy than looking back earning millions of money. This is what makes him happy and fulfill. He was taught by his dad to invest in other people. It's the one thing that can't be taken away from him. It's his contribution to people. Beau has been blessed to monetize what he loved. There's nothing that's really gonna serve you as well as finding that thing that lights you up, that you're good at, that serves people, that helps people and creating a business around that. Knowledge is power, start educating yourself. Work with people whose competent that actually teach you things like to invest, how to do real estate and grow with them. Have the right financial money plan but also do the context of a life plan. Some Questions I Ask: What's your definition of a rich life? (02:20) What did that journey look like for you as you started going down the path of being a financial advisor and decided to help others? (03:59) What are some of the things that you see people preventing them to get into the next level? (06:09) Where do people start in unlocking rich life? EPISODE SHOW NOTES... There is nothing that will make a bigger impact on your bank account and overall success than learning how to master planning. I can assure you that if you tune in this week’s podcast, you will gain the ultimate competitive advantage going into the new year. For the past year, I’ve been working behind the scenes on something with my biz partner Justin Weeks that we knew was needed at the highest level. THIS IS THE FIRST EVER ALL-IN-ONE PRODUCTIVITY AND TIME MANAGEMENT JOURNAL. Now if there’s one thing that I’ve learnt in the last 15 years of my life that has catapulted by business, peace of mind, my success and my happiness is by having clarity on how I can truly maximise my time. Justin’s business grew by 50% within the first month. Justin’s key takeaway from his achieving such growth in his business, was the importance of maximising and leveraging your time. The biggest part of being able to shift your level of leveraging time, is by prioritising what’s important. Journaling has helped me to become more intentional with who and how I am spending my time. Because every second that goes by, you are either gaining ground or losing ground. That’s why it’s so important to truly value your time and maximise every bit of life that you can. If you don’t value your time, nobody else will. We all have the same 24 hours as Oprah, as Michael Jordan, as Richard Branson, Elon Musk. What is the biggest difference between those who struggle, and those who thrive? Those who thrive understand how they can maximise their time through systems and through things that actually give them clarity and roadmaps on what to do. We want this productivity journal to be a road map for you to follow so that we can almost guarantee that you’re maximising your time and efficiency so you don’t have to spend hundreds of hours on the things that do not elevate your life. Justin and I have gone through so many journals and we believe that there has always been something missing. We wanted to create a journal that has everything - from actual time management tactics and tips - to weekly and monthly reviews and something you can track your wins on. We made sure that we are focused on offering you the best possible journal. There’s nothing more important that living a life in your terms and it’s finally here… A proven system for entrepreneurs focused on maximizing productivity, exponentially growing their income, and creating more autonomy than ever before. You can pre-order the Time Management & Productivity Mastery Journal at 30%-38% off at www.achievingautonomy.com/family/ - It will be full price within the next week so don’t miss out on this massive discount!    Are you ready to elevate your life? In this episode you will learn: How to maximise your time through a proven road map Why time management is so important to elevate all aspects of your life and business How to become successful by leveraging your time How to become more intent in how and who you spend your most precious commodity of time with Quotes: -> "Live a life in your terms and and be intentional about how you spend your time because every second you’re either gaining ground or losing ground" -> "If you don’t value your time, nobody else will" -> "Later never comes. Nothing’s ever going to align if you’re waiting for things to be perfect before you invest in yourself and actually maximise your time, good luck in this new economy" Question: Are you leveraging and spending your time on the things that will elevate your success?

He shares about growing up without clear direction and what it was like feeling the pull from his academia parents. And how an unlikely trip to Australia studying geology was the ground-breaking moment for Zach to begin to find his way, and it had nothing to do with rocks. From graduating magna cum laude from Le Cordon Bleu in 2006 to getting fired from a restaurant he held dear. Zach explains the fundamental foot-holds that carried him through the hardest years and how he has turned his journey through self-discovery into the foundation he is building not only his life but his business going forward. Thomas is a visual artist and photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia who has developed a style that he calls "painterly photo montage" - a method he employs in editing software in which he crafts elaborately textured pieces that have a very organic, non-digital look to them. Although his artwork resembles paintings, his pieces are entirely photographic in nature, fusing many images into a cohesive whole. Full shownotes: http://yourcreativepush.com/thomasdoddagain In this episode, Thomas discusses: -How he got his start in Mod Clubs, learning techniques to make pictures look "painterly." -How artists should always be looking to learn, and spend free time learning from masters. -How combining your artistic journey with making money can sometimes be soul-crushing, leaving you not enjoying the art anymore. -The importance of setting aside time to do your art, if you are getting burnt out from your full-time job, even if it is just 15 minutes a day. -How he originally got into punk music and then as a harpist in Trio Nocturna -That there is an unlimited, universal wellspring that you can tap into -If he doesn't feel like creating, he doesn't try to force it, but instead works on the promotion aspect of the arts. -To go along with the ebb and the flow of creativity. -How everyone goes through the struggle of not feeling good enough artistically, and how this is an important thing to go through -- the ones who don't think this way usually are bad. -If you are new, you have to face the reality that you probably aren't good, but you have to be willing to improve. -How important it is to seek out critiques from people who are better than you -- someone who can point out your good points but also gently tell you where you need to improve. -When he is feeling particularly good about his work, he looks at other particular artist's works to humble himself a bit. -Entering the flow state in Photoshop as well as playing music. -How quitting drinking led to an immersion in video games and then into his art, from negative to neutral to positive. -How the best art can succeed across all people and cultures. -How to realize the conversation you have with your art is actually a conversation with yourself. -How the best art shows us that we are all separate, but we all share the same emotions and struggles. -Why music is incredibly powerful, especially in younger people in their formative years. -The importance of being receptive to new forms of art or music. -If you follow your own uniqueness and put the time in, eventually people will notice you and want you to be YOU. -Communication coupled with social intelligence is incredibly important in dealing with other people, especially those who are not as creative as you. Thomas's Final Push inspires you to have that space where you go to be creative, even if it is only 15 minutes a day.   Quotes: "Live, breathe, and eat it." "The process is a lifelong journey." Everyone has 24 hours to spend in a day. But the one thing that differentiates successful and influential people from those who perennially struggle is the way they spend their hours. It starts the moment you ought to wake up. If you hit snooze all the time, you’ll end up working for somebody who doesn’t.   To be a game changer, to live the best life you can possibly have, and to get results, you have to rise and grind. You simply have to hustle. After all, time is your most valuable resource and how you view and use it determines whether you’ll achieve success, freedom and fulfilment.   Don’t end up like people who hold a sorry bag of regret through retirement age. People who lived their lives according to the expectations of others, wasting all their precious hours on things they disliked or those that distract them from reaching their goals. If you live day to day like most people who just let circumstances control their lives, you’ll be in a very bumpy ride without getting an inch closer to your dreams.   To succeed, live on your own terms by consciously spending time on the things that matter most to you. Build habits of excellence by doing more to become more.   Never let a day go by without producing value. You can reinforce a critical skill, maximise an experience, give something back to the community by volunteering, or learn an important life or business lesson. The secret sauce is to consider the time you spend as an investment for personal or professional growth.     In just about six minutes, I’ve distilled the steps you need to do all that. And I invite you to listen closely to the bite-sized podcast.     In this episode, you will learn . . . How to begin your day with purpose Why saying you don’t have time is the excuse of whiners, mediocre performers, and people who chase the wrong priorities How to spend each 24-hour day to get you closer to your goals Why cutting the time spent on distractions such as TV, games, unnecessary naps, and social media will help you save time for more valuable activities   Quotes: "Live life on your terms." "It is not about time management, it is about self management." "Grind over security and hustle over being comfortable."   Questions: What's something very important to you that you want to spend more time on?

Thomas is a visual artist and photographer based out of Atlanta, Georgia who has developed a style that he calls "painterly photo montage" - a method he employs in editing software in which he crafts elaborately textured pieces that have a very organic, non-digital look to them. Although his artwork resembles paintings, his pieces are entirely photographic in nature, fusing many images into a cohesive whole. Full shownotes: http://yourcreativepush.com/thomasdodd In this episode, Thomas discusses: -How he got his start in Mod Clubs, learning techniques to make pictures look "painterly." -How artists should always be looking to learn, and spend free time learning from masters. Quotes: "Live, breathe, and eat it." "The process is a lifelong journey." "The most important thing we do as artists is that we communicate emotion to people." "I'm not thinking as I'm creating.  I'm just letting it happen and letting my tastes dictate as I go along." "It's the intuition that guides you, and the intuition is always right."
