All of my roles: “What services do RCCs provide? Today, there are approximately 1,200 RCCs in our country, each tasked with serving their local communities by providing survivor support services and community education. These centers offer different resources based on community needs and financial resources, but the overarching goals remain the same. For those impacted by sexual violence, RCCs oftentimes offer crisis intervention hotlines, support groups, counseling, legal and medical aids (to accompany survivors to medical exams or law enforcement interactions), as well as referrals to other local or virtual resources. In terms of community outreach, some RCCs provide a form of prevention education, advocacy, and/or prevention training. Crisis Intervention/24 Hour Hotline Perhaps the most uniform service across RCCs, crisis intervention hotlines are intended to provide immediate support in the wake of a crisis. In the aftermath of harm, these hotlines serve as a resource for survivors to talk or learn about legal, medical, or counseling options. These hotlines are typically staffed by victim advocates who have undergone trauma-informed training and who are prepared to listen and assist the caller in a time of crisis. Centers offer free crisis and advocacy services since they are typically funded with federal and/or state dollars. Referral Services RCCs may not always provide all of the services someone may need, but they often have a plethora of resources they can direct people toward. For instance, not all RCCs offer therapy or legal resources, but they may know the best options for people who are searching for these services. Sexual assault coalitions also provide great referral services. Education: Training Employees, Volunteers, and the Community Although the required hours of training for staff varies across states, RCCs often provide the training necessary for their staff and volunteers to equip them to effectively serve survivors of sexual assault. Furthermore, most RCCs conduct outreach to the community and provide trainings such as workshops to local schools or organizations on topics such as consent, workplace sexual harassment, or stalking. Accompaniment Some RCCs have staff available to accompany victims to medical exams or legal consultations such as police interviews or court proceedings. These staffers sometimes accompany victims as a form of support, and sometimes they can serve as an advocate for the victim in helping them navigate appointments or meetings. Short-Term Counseling/Therapy/Group Therapy Forms of counseling and therapy services vary broadly across RCCs nationally. These services may also vary in price: Some RCCs will offer a certain number of free sessions after which payment may be required, while others may not be able to offer therapy at all. Regardless of whether or not therapy is a service provided by your local RCC, they will likely be able to point you in the direction of counseling options to fit your needs.” https://www.nsvrc.org/blogs/what-are-rape-crisis-centers-and-how-have-they-changed-over-years. “I would have to work with abuse of all types and contexts prevention coalitions like sexual assault coalitions and domestic violence coalitions.” -Antonio Myers. “Depending on the goal, the licensed therapist and client work with the surrogate to design therapeutic experiences. According to the International Professional Surrogates Association, these experiences include “partner work in relaxation, effective communication, sensual and sexual touching, and social skills.” The sex therapist maintains an active role throughout the process. In the most common arrangement, the therapist meets with both the client and the surrogate, independently, each week. After these meetings, the client will meet with the surrogate. Wie contant betaalt, denkt er misschien niet over na welke weg een biljet vervolgens aflegt. Iedere dag moet al dat cash geld opgehaald én verwerkt worden, op een veilige manier. Waardetransportbedrijven spelen daar sinds jaar en dag een cruciale rol in.  Maar net als het versturen van een echte brief, wordt het betalen met contant geld al voor de coronacrisis steeds zeldzamer. Dat merken waardetransportbedrijven als G4S, RCCS en SecurCash in hun dagelijks werk: de markt wordt steeds kleiner. Nederlanders stappen sneller dan dan Fransen of Duitsers over op digitaal betalen en dus verliezen de stevig beveiligde vierkante geldwagens in snel tempo hun nut.   In 2018 vechten partijen als G4S, RCCS en SecurCash om de instortende markt. Iedereen weet op dat moment dat er eigenlijk niet genoeg ruimte is voor drie partijen. Bij de eigenaar van SecurCash en bij toezichthouder De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) groeit het besef dat het bedrijf niet langer levensvatbaar is. Daarmee dreigt een ramp voor een aanzienlijk deel van de Nederlandse winkels, dat afhankelijk is van de verwerking van de dagelijkse contante geldstromen door SecurCash. DNB maakt in samenspraak met SecurCash en de grootbanken een plan om het bedrijf op zo'n manier bankroet te laten gaan dat zogeheten chartale chaos wordt voorkomen.  Maar hoe zet je een bedrijf stil dat per dag 20 miljoen euro vervoert en slechts op één dag in het jaar geen geld telt? En vooral: wat doe je met alle munten en bankbiljetten die zijn opgestapeld in pakhuizen, kluizen, ‘sealbags' en plofkoffers?   Martijn Hoving van RWV Advocaten krijgt samen met een collega het verzoek van DNB om mee te werken aan de geplande ‘acceptable landing' van SecurCash. Hoving is dan nog stille bewindvoerder en gaat aan de slag om ervoor te zorgen dat het waardetransportbedrijf precies op 2 januari 2019 failliet kan gaan. Maar het loopt anders.    Onder curatoren  Niet elk ondernemersavontuur eindigt met een notering in de Quote 500, niet elk bedrijf overleeft een flinke crisis, niet elke onderneming weet het financiële spel goed te spelen. Most succinate dehydrogenase (SDH)-deficient RCCs demonstrate classic morphology characterized by bland eosinophilic cells with intracytoplasmic inclusions. Increasingly, “variant” morphologic features are recognized. Drs. Anthony Gill and Talia Fuchs discuss with the host their findings in a recent publication in Modern pathology where features such as high-grade nuclear features, necrosis, papillary, solid, and tubular architecture are present. These features appear to be associated with more aggressive behavior emphasizing the need for a low threshold for performing SDHB immunohistochemistry in any difficult to classify renal tumor; particularly if occurring at a younger age. While AML and cysts are the most common renal manifestations in patients with inherited TSC syndromes, approximately 4% will develop renal cell carcinoma (RCC). These include RCC with clear cytoplasm, papillary architecture, and prominent smooth muscle stroma; RCC with granular eosinophilic cytoplasm and macrocystic architecture; and RCC resembling the eosinophilic variant of chromophobe RCC. In recent years and in five studies in the March 2022 issue of Modern Pathology, sporadic counterparts to the hereditary tuberous sclerosis complex-associated RCC that are associated with somatic TSC/MTOR pathway mutations have now been described. The RCCS strives to support people in recovery from serious mental illness in two distinct but complementary ways. The Culture is focused on the recovery environment including individuals served, staff and the interpersonal relationships that create a supportive program setting. It is made up of five “awarenesses” which help cultivate an environment where recovery can grow and thrive. The Conversations are focused on the individual. It encompasses five components which focus on awakening and enlivening recovery within the individual. This presentation will focus on The Culture, but will briefly address The Conversations.

Rabbi Yosef Chaim Golding has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Agudas Yisroel of America and most recently the COO of the Siyum Hashas event at MetLife Stadium. Rabbi Golding has also served as Executive Director of RCCS, the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society and Misaskim. During Rabbi Golding’s tenure at RCCS, RCCS grew to become a “household name” for those stricken with cancer and became the “first call to make” upon receiving the dreaded diagnosis.  He is currently the President of his own development consulting firm and is the author of the book "Faith Amid the Flames" published by Art Scroll. RCCS once again took part in the annual Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity. On this day we stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. Students are encouraged to wear strips of red duct tape as reminders of the children lost everyday through abortion.
