Today I have two witnesses or you. One is from a friend of mine that recently went on a vacation to see her daughter and she shares how the Lord was with her the whole time. The second one is from Matthew West's website, called popwe.org. If you don't know who Matthew West is, he is a singer, songwriter, and storyteller. This website is for the non-profit that he has with his father, a pastor. Matthew and his father encourage people to share their stories. They have various categories of stories. Today, I chose one testimony from the Anxiety/Depression Category. I know so many people who are struggling with anxiety and depression right now. Suicide seems to be increasing as well. Often, we can hear our own story in someone else's story. When we listen to others tell their story, it helps us see that we are not alone. When we hear how God worked in their situation, it gives us hope that He will work in ours, too! I pray that when you hear these testimonies, you get the faith and hope to believe that miracles can happen in your situation, too. I pray you know that God is there with you, and if you invite Him into your anxiety and depression, He can help.First up, my friend from the prayer group.. She realized once she got to FL that she had lost her passport. She didn't really have any other current form of ID, and so she had no idea how she would get on her plane back to MA. This is the message she wrote after she got back from her trip.I want to thank everyone who prayed for me during my trip to Florida. God showed me that He was God and that He was taking care of me. I was not supposed to board the plane without my passport, but I did. My daughter Maria and I arrived early at the airport on Monday, 11/24/25. I had a late flight. The plane was supposed to arrive at Logan at midnight. We went directly to security. When I saw the security officer, I immediately asked the Holy Trinity to soften his heart. He took my expired license. He photographed me and then let me go. He asked Maria to obtain a pass so she could stay with me. JetBlue changed my flight to an earlier one and upgraded my seat to 6F. A male passenger helped me with my bags until the wheelchair assistant arrived to help me. He brought me directly to where my ride was parked. The perfect moment arrived when I listened to my phone messages on my landline. I heard JetBlue say, "We have found your passport. Please call us at this number. I could hardly believe it. I had to set up a FedEx number so JetBlue could mail me back my passport. I received a phone call today regarding the tracking number. I should get my passport back this coming Monday. While I was in Florida, someone charged my credit card for an unauthorised transaction, but my bank caught it and prevented it from going through. They froze my card. I had to go to the bank yesterday to obtain another credit card. I can testify that the Lord is taking excellent care of me!I was mostly sick throughout my trip, but I will always be grateful to God for showing me His love and care.Brianna: From the age of 10, I was stuck with the label “child prodigy,” winning piano competitions, featured in local newspapers, and recognized as a passionate, fiery recitalist. Yet, even as a youth, I was severely depressed. I was insecure, seeking affection, and perpetually in pursuit of attaining “good enough.” Right before my 16th birthday, my world suddenly turned upside down. In an unexpected turn of events, I faced a close encounter with death, had my innocence taken, and watched helplessly as my mother's health began to rapidly fail. Too ashamed to ask for help and blaming myself for the situation, I despairingly turned to self-harm, eating disorders, and eventually, planned my own suicide. One day, I heard the song ‘Broken Pieces', and I found something onto which I could cling to – Truth, even when I could not feel it and it failed to make sense.Through involvement with an organization called Csehy Summer School of Music, I came to personally know Christ. For the first time in my life, I experienced peace, hope, and true joy. Dedicating my life to God, I went back home with a different perspective. My life was still intense – balancing high school and conservatory studies, living between home and the hospital, while being a full-time caretaker for my undiagnosed mother. By the grace of God, I managed to graduate as Salutatorian and get accepted into music school. However, shortly before college began, my mother passed away.I started my B.A. in piano at Charleston Southern University, using every spare moment to pour my heart out into the keys as a wordless prayer. Yet, a lingering pain in my right hand soon became constant. A few months after my mother's funeral, I was diagnosed with severe damage in my right hand, incited by the physical strains from being a caretaker. The only option left was surgery, followed by excruciating therapy, without a guarantee of returning to the keys. My doctor strongly advised me to quit and choose a different career path. But I fought back.Over the next several years, I fought through recovery from both surgical and emotional scars. I realized that though I had given my life to Christ, I hadn't fully “surrendered” it. In those precious years of undergrad, I experienced the freedom found in surrendering to the grace of God, the beauty of vulnerability, and the power of learning to fly again. Then, nearly four years to the day the doctor said it was over, I found myself sitting onstage, performing at Carnegie Hall. When I turned to the audience to see a standing ovation, I burst into tears, because I remembered the words, “With You I can attack a barrier, and with my God I can leap over a wall.”-Psalm 18:29Today, despite the formalities infused in classical music, I get to use the concert stage as a platform to share my story and encourage others to seek help and experience the peace of God. I perform and travel internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, frequently being sought after to premiere avant-garde piano works, and I am actively involved in youth and collegiate ministry. Although healing is an ongoing process, by the hand of God's work in my life, the label of “Victim” has been replaced with “Victorious,” “Hopeless” has been covered by “Confidence,” and what was “Impossible” is now a living, breathing, walking “Miracle.”Thank you both for sharing your stories so that others might see how the Lord is working in their lives too! www.findingtruenorthcoaching.comCLICK HERE TO DONATECLICK HERE to sign up for Mentoring CLICK HERE to sign up for Daily "Word from the Lord" emailsCLICK HERE to sign up for my newsletter & receive a free audio training about inviting Jesus into your daily lifeCLICK HERE to buy my book Total Trust in God's Safe Embrace
This podcast episode captures the inaugural service in a new church building, where Samuel Goulet expresses deep gratitude for the community's support and God's faithfulness. Drawing from the biblical stories of David and Solomon, the message emphasizes the importance of knowing God intimately and serving Him wholeheartedly, not just intellectually or emotionally. The episode encourages listeners to consecrate their lives and worship spaces to God, to walk in humility, and to embrace forgiveness and wholeness through Jesus. It concludes with a communal act of taking communion, inviting everyone to experience redemption and restoration as a church family.
We all want to age with vitality and independence. Yet, there's a stark statistic looming over Americans: 1 in 3 people over 65 will suffer a fall. This "overlooked aging crisis" isn't just about a broken bone; it's often the starting point for a decline in health, confidence, and independence. According to Dr. Alan Rozanski, a distinguished professor of medicine, the solution isn't a new drug or a complex medical procedure. It's a proactive, powerful strategy he calls "muscle care." The Real Reason We Fall The primary driver behind this crisis is a natural process that we've accepted for too long: muscle loss, or sarcopenia. Dr. Rozanski lays out the startling reality of what happens when we remain sedentary. "If you're not doing resistance training, you are going to lose, even from the age of 30 on, you're starting to lose about 3-8% of your muscle mass per decade, and that accelerates after age 60." This isn't just a cosmetic issue. That loss of muscle mass is directly linked to a loss of strength, power, and… most critically… balance. When you have to stop a stumble or catch yourself, you're relying on muscle. When that muscle isn't there, a simple trip becomes a disaster. The Answer: Stress Your Muscles The good news, as Dr. Rozanski explains, is that this decline is not inevitable. We have a powerful tool to fight back. "You've got to stress your muscles, you know? We call it muscle care," he states. He emphasizes that this muscle loss "can be largely minimized if you are doing resistance training." The benefits go far beyond just being stronger. Dr. Rozanski notes that resistance training "promotes better immunological health, biochemical health, better mindset, greater sense of resilience, stronger muscles, and you decrease your risk of falling." This is the key takeaway: building strength is a direct investment in your stability and your ability to live life on your own terms. Start With One Simple Move For many, the idea of "resistance training" conjures images of intimidating gyms and complex machines. Dr. Rozanski insists on a different approach, one that prioritizes consistency over intensity. "We want psychological success before aerobic success," he says. He calls this "the power of the first step." The goal isn't to become a bodybuilder. The goal is to get on the playing field. "Choose one exercise," Dr. Rozanski advises. "Let's get you to do one thing that you will do each day." His favorite starting point for someone completely sedentary? "My favorite would be just to do a sit-to-stand. You know, sit in a chair, have your hands up against your chest, and just get up without using your hands, go back down." Resistance Snacks Work Wonders You don't need to block out an hour every day. Dr. Rozanski is a proponent of what he calls "resistance snacks," or "exercise snacks." These are small, manageable bits of exercise you can do throughout your day. "Dedicating about a half hour twice a week," he says, is enough to start making a profound difference. You can develop a simple repertoire of 5 or 6 exercises that target your core, upper body, and lower limbs. A few sit-to-stands, some calf raises, or stepping up and down on a stair. This small, consistent effort builds the resilience you need. Aging doesn't have to mean a loss of independence. By actively caring for your muscles, you are building a biological insurance policy against falls and decline. As Dr. Rozanski puts it, starting this practice, even in the smallest way, "is a tremendous investment in terms of your life." In this podcast you'll learn: Why 1 in 3 Americans over 65 will fall… and how "muscle care" is the key to independence. The shocking reality of muscle loss: 3-8% per decade starting at age 30, accelerating after 60. Dr. Rozanski's "power of the first step" philosophy and why sit-to-stands are the perfect starting exercise. The concept of "resistance snacks"... small bits of exercise throughout your day that build real strength. Creative ways to integrate micro-strength training into daily routines (like squats at lunch) as a practical, sustainable way to stay strong at any age. EPISODE RESOURCES: LinkedIn Website
It has been said that, “The greatest contribution to the Kingdom of God may not be something you do, but someone that you raise.” We must reach and raise up the next generation now if we are going to have a next generation tomorrow. The good news, the next generation is hungry to know and learn. You can't be intentional with the next generation if you are accidental in your approach. Pastor Andy will teach practical ways that the church can reach the next generation for the gospel.

Dedicating a little time to tune into your body fortifies you to better handle the stresses of daily life. How To Do This Practice: Find your space: Choose a quiet place where you feel safe and comfortable. You can sit, stand, or lie down, whatever helps you relax. If sitting, rest your hands on your thighs; if standing, let them hang by your sides. Begin with your breath: Close your eyes. Inhale slowly to a count of four, feeling your belly and chest expand. Exhale to a count of four, letting your body soften. Notice the temperature of the air as it moves in and out through your nose. Start at your feet: Bring your attention to your feet on the ground. Notice sensations— pressure, warmth, tingling. Gently wiggle your toes. On the next breath, move your awareness to your ankles and calves, then your knees, thanking them for their steady work. Move up the body: With each breath, shift attention upward. Thighs, hips, and lower back, then your stomach. Feel it rise and fall with your breath. Continue up through your back and shoulders, releasing any tension there. Soften the upper body: Turn your attention to your throat, face, and head. Relax your jaw, smooth your forehead, and feel any soft tingling at the top of your head. Then bring awareness to your hands and fingers. Close with awareness: Take a few final deep breaths. On your last exhale, open your eyes gently. Notice how your body feels and carry that awareness into the rest of your day. Hosts Stuart & Michelle delve into the significant impact of Charlie Kirk's life, his tragic assassination, the ensuing debates about his legacy, and the huge impact his death is having. Dedicating the episode to Charlie Kirk, they look at the cross-over between political beliefs and faith and Charlie's highly successful work in debating and promoting a Christian biblical worldview, especially among young people. You'll find answers to:Is Christianity political?Should Christians be involved politically or can they remain neutral? What is the fundamental difference between the messages of the ‘right' and those of the ‘left' who are opposed to Charlie Kirk's message? What did his enemies fail to realise in assassinating Charlie Kirk? The episode also explores the Unite the Kingdom Festival organized by Tommy Robinson and its timing in relation to Kirk's death. They highlight the unexpected revival-like atmosphere of the Festival, its massive turnout, and implications for Christian engagement in societal and political issues. They note the challenging exhortation given by a pastor's attendance at the Festival, address the misinformation and false narrative around the Festival portrayed by the media to the public, and the need to move away from listening to ‘legacy' media. They compare the persecution and smearing of public figures who are revealing the truth to the persecution and smearing of Jesus, emphasizing the importance of Christians discerning truth, staying engaged in societal issues, and the interconnectedness of the gospel with contemporary life.ABOUT THE HOSTMichelle has been a believer for over 37 years, involved in full-time Christian ministry for 35 years in six countries on three continents, and is a master of transition and cross-cultural expert. There are more things that you can vow or dedicate to the Lord than people or animals. God now codifies the laws of redemption for houses and land. Just like with redeeming an unclean animal, if you want to redeem a house, you have to pay a fifth higher than market value for it. The priests could sell it and they should get their valuation, but if the person dedicating it buys it back, they are required to pay more. For land, the value is based on the amount of seed that would be typically sowed. Good open prepared fields would take much more seed to plant than where there was a mix of rocks and trees in addition to open land. The land was valued strictly on its ability to produce grain. This makes sense because God has given us dominion over the land, not so we can set it aside and have it be useless. Man has responsibility to make land useful and not subject it to futility. The land is valued based on its productivity until the next Year of Jubilee. If he does not chose to redeem the land, then at the Jubilee it becomes irredeemable. It permanently belongs to the priesthood. If you vow land that was land you bought, then it goes back in the Year of Jubilee, just like it would if you had not consecrated it.

Today we are honored to sit down with retired DEA Agent and Founder, lead facilitator of Wake Up/Level Up Margaret Bedolla. Margaret walks us through her journey, growing up the daughter of an Agent, and living abroad and being exposed to true poverty and the excitement of the hidden dangers of her father's work in a different country. Starting the DEA at 24 she found herself working on the tragic and high profile case of the kidnapping and murder of DEA Agent Kiki Camarena. Dedicating her life to the Administration and immersing herself in several long term cases she found a passion and knack for expanding investigations to hunt down the source of the drug trade. As her career unfolded, she found another unique talent, which her natural compassion and empathy complimented, in working in the DEA EAP program. Like everything she does she puts her heart and soul into helping others on the Trauma Team to help her peers and their families that were struggling with the daily grind of the job and critical incident response. After leaving the DEA she continued serving to provide education with Wake Up/Level Up leadership courses as she travels the country meeting with different organizations and first responder agencies to help them look at leadership through a different lens. Margaret and retired DEA SAC, David Downing, are now presenting their unique leadership courses to the Dallas Police Command Staff. She is extremely humble, extremely fierce, and still after over three decades, still leading with a servant's heart. Wake Up Level Up- Facilitated Leadership Conversations Investigation discussed: Enrique "Kiki" Camarena Salazar was a DEA agent who was kidnapped and murdered by the Guadalajara Cartel in Mexico in 1985. His death sparked a major U.S. investigation and strained relations with Mexico. The case has been the subject of various media, including the miniseries "Drug Wars: The Camarena Story" and the docuseries "The Last Narc"

Dedicating your life to scientific pursuits can have countless benefits for humanity, but you have to bear in mind the potential drawbacks. You could study something before its dangerous effects are known, like Marie Curie, invent something monumentally destructive, like J. Robert Oppenheimer, or accidentally fall through a time hole to the court of King Arthur like Dr. Vivian Morgan, the protagonist of the film we're here to talk about today.Luckily, Vivian isn't the sort of person to get bogged down in things like 'trying to understand what happened' and 'attempting to get back to her home time', and instead throws herself wholeheartedly into her two passions: speedrunning the industrial revolution and murdering her rivals at court. But can she truly make life better for the serfs of England? Can Arthur be persuaded that the King's Law isn't always right? And why does Merlin keep spinning in a circle, emitting colourful gas? In this episode of Palisades Gold Radio, host Tom Bodrovics interviews Josh Phair, CEO of Scottsdale Mint and Wyoming Reserve. The discussion centers on the current state of global finance, particularly the role of gold as a reserve asset and its implications for central banks, markets, and investors. Phair highlights that central banks are increasingly turning to gold as a risk-free asset, replacing treasuries on their balance sheets. This shift is driven by de-leveraging and de-risking strategies amid concerns over fiat currency inflation. He notes that countries like China have been leading this trend, with significant imports of gold into the U.S., signaling a global "gold race." The conversation also touches on Basel III regulations, set to take effect in summer 2025, which require banks to hold more capital and physical gold. Phair explains that owning ETFs does not provide the same risk-free status as holding physical gold, prompting central banks to prioritize its acquisition. Phair discusses the recent LBMA delivery issues, where metals were being requested at unprecedented rates, leading to delays. He suggests this was a combination of factors, including tariffs, market dynamics, and regulatory preparedness. Phair also explores the role of gold in a potential monetary reset, suggesting that while it won't happen overnight, gold is likely to play a significant role due to its status as a trusted asset. He advises investors to follow the lead of central banks and accumulate physical gold as a hedge against uncertainty. Time Stamp References:0:00 - Introduction0:48 - Gold Vs. Dedicating himself to innovation, quality, and security, Mr. Phair orchestrated a remarkable transformation of the company, evolving it from a mere retailer into a prominent U.S.-based manufacturer. Simultaneously, he adeptly managed a sophisticated trade and hedge book encompassing commodities, currencies, and digital assets. Thanks to his strategic leadership, Scottsdale Mint has earned global recognition as a premier brand in the precious metals industry. Josh Phair also cofounded and serves as CEO of The Wyoming Reserve Opportunity Zone Fund, a tax-advantaged precious metals vaulting business. In addition to his remarkable achievements, Mr. Phair's profound appreciation for fine art extends to a deep passion for both traditional and digital artistic expressions. This passion serves as the driving force behind the artistic excellence that sets Scottsdale Mint apart in the realm of precious metals.

E394 – "Inner Voice: A Heartfelt Chat with Dr. Foojan Zeine." In this episode, Dr. Foojan Zeine chats with Sean McMann. Sean was recruited right out of college to work at one of the largest data firms, and he embarked on an eight-year journey from a new graduate to a consulting director. Privileged to see behind the curtain of some of the largest corporations today, he recognized the system was broken and quit at the height of his career, when working the least but making the most money he ever had, betting everything, including his money, reputation, and time, on trying to fix the problem of the corporate jungle. He shares his insights in his new book, Hacking the Corporate Jungle: How to Work Less, Make More and Actually Like Your Life. www.seanmcmann.com # 1 on the 20 Best California Mental Health Podcasts list by FeedSpot. https://podcasts.feedspot.com/california_mental_health_podcasts/ Check out my website: www.FoojanZeine.com, www.AwarenessIntegration.com, www.Foojan.com Summary Corporate Power and Societal Impact Sean McMahon, a former data firm consultant, discussed his views on the corporate world and its societal role. He expressed concerns about the inefficiency and power of large corporations, arguing that they prioritize profit over people and contribute to societal issues. Sean suggested that corporations need to shift their goals from profit above all else to something else, but hasn't yet figured out what that should be. He also mentioned his book, "Hacking the Corporate Jungle," which explores these ideas. Dr. and Sean discussed the potential for corporations to evolve and adapt to changing societal needs, the inefficiencies in corporate structures, and the need for a shift in focus toward a more human-centric approach. He proposed that with efficiency and time saved, individuals should focus on activities that make them feel alive and contribute to their mental health, highlighting the need for a more efficient structure that benefits all, not just a few. They also discussed the potential for individuals to create their businesses and the importance of understanding the value of time in maintaining mental and physical health. They discussed the importance of self-discovery, identity, and fulfillment in one's career. Dedicating one's life to a corporation can lead to unhappiness and a lack of creativity. Sean suggested that people allocate some of their peak creative hours to their corporation while using the rest for personal creativity and self-care. They discussed their journeys and the factors that have shaped their lives. Sean shared his experiences since quitting his job, including a period of depression and a journey to process trauma, which led him to find hope and excitement in his daily life despite the uncertainty of his future. Dr. then shared her experiences working in a sales role and discovering her identity. Dr. decided to leave the role after realizing it required her to become a "barracuda" to make more money. Instead, she became a therapist, created her own companies and nonprofits, and eventually developed her own models. Dr. discussed the challenges of growing a collaborative community, highlighting the difficulty of maintaining structure while allowing individuality and adaptability. Sean agreed, noting the contrast between hierarchical and network structures and the need to shift towards a more networked approach to problem-solving. Both emphasized the importance of human collaboration and adaptability in complex problems. Sean McMahon, author of "Hacking the Corporate Jungle," discussed the importance of listening to one's inner voice when feeling discontent in their job. He emphasized that it's about being grateful for the job and exploring the reasons behind dissatisfaction. Sean encouraged everyone to contact him if they wanted to discuss their concerns.
