Episode 118 finds Mike sitting down with Christina Hovestadt of the NFL. When she's not working in community relations at the national football league, Christina has dedicated her life to giving back and making a difference; one that empowers those that she reaches to walk in the fullness of who they were created to be. Christina partners with athletes, celebrities and every day people to inspire, empower and equip them to leave a legacy bigger than themselves. Christina is the founder of a seat at the table for women in sports & entertainment, a community of women in sports who are dedicated to equipping and empowering the next generation of female gamechangers through mentorship. As a former collegiate volleyball player, Christina knew the impact that a teacher and coach could have on a student's life. After a brief stint of working in television news, Christina decided to take her passion for the youth into the classroom and on the court as a high school Educator & Coach in Jacksonville, Florida. From passionately teaching students who couldn't pass the state standardized assessment in reading, to showing tough love and motivating players on the court who desperately needed a mentor, encouraging youth quickly became a passion that turned global when she began her work as Executive Director of the Rashad Jennings Foundation - led by former NFL RB and Dancing With The Stars Champ, Rashad Jennings. After branding programs for NFL players around the 32 teams through the RJF, Christina took a leap of faith and moved to New York City in February 2018 to begin her position with the NFL.Christina is passionate about combining her faith with philanthropy and using sports for positive social change. She loves empowering communities with a focus on building and equipping people to live purpose-driven lives. Phylicia Rashad's opinion on Bill Cosby's release led to an um, "dust-up" with her current employer, Howard University, and to an RJF team debate on whether you can work in higher education while having opinions that upset faculty, students, and donors (06:41). This week's 'Worst and First' asks, ‘have you ever seen someone get fired and then they just STAY at work?' A former college admin walks us through an office shakeup featuring lots of tears and liquor. A charter school executive explains job openings at their school, how to attract teachers who care, and how to detect those who don't (33:42). @Rod4Short reveals he actually has a line he WILL NOT cross with his coworkers (surprisingly). And is investing your hopes, dreams, and financial future in higher education a scam? Roy and the team dissect the issue in ‘Scam of The Week.' The Super Bowl is fantastic because you can talk to so many people involved in football, and JP Finlay does just that in this episode of Redskins Talk. First, JP chats with 1998's second overall pick Ryan Leaf, who had a wild career on the field and has also really learned a lot off of it. Leaf gives his insight into what's going on with Kirk Cousins and also explains why Baker Mayfield is his favorite passer prospect this year. Then, JP catches up with two former Redskins who are hoping to pick up a ring on Sunday: Ricky Jean Francois and Nate Sudfeld. How does RJF look back on his time in D.C.? Will Sudfeld still answer JP's texts if his Eagles beat the Pats? Those questions and much more are covered in the interviews.

Bitte was?! Ein Engländer in der Reichsjugendführung in Berlin? 1937?
