Hello Super-fans, welcome back (or if this is your first time, welcome) to Across the Airwaves's very own DC Nation Podcast! On this week's episode, hosts Dan Schmidt and Michael J. Petty are joined by their good-friend and fellow ATA podcaster, Woo S! Kim! The reason Woo joined this Dynamic Duo to form a Terrific Trio was because of this week's main event podcast, two weeks in the making! The official ATA coverage of the third and final MAN OF STEEL theatrical trailer! Going deep into the trailer, the team discuss what they enjoyed including the fact that Superman actually throws a punch, General Zod's "I will find him!", Amy Adams' Lois Lane, Russel Crowe's Jor-El, Hans Zimmer's score, and the comic book influences including Superman: Birthright, Superman: Secret Origin, Superman: Earth One, All-Star Superman, Superman: Red Son, and John Byrne's The Man of Steel origin! And of course, to compliment our Superman-themed episode of DC Nation, we cover Smallville Season 11's "Argo" - Part 2, where we talk about Skeets, CorTessa, Brainiac 5's powers, Lightning Lad, and of course more Clark Kent as we see him in the future of the 31st century! All of this and much more on this week's DC Nation Podcast! Read Andy Behbakht's review of the Man of Steel trailer here on the ATA site: http://acrosstheairwaves.com/samaritan-reviews-man-of-steel-trailer-3/ Read Michael's review of the Man of Steel trailer on the Superman Homepage: http://supermanhomepage.com/news.php?readmore=12911

Hello DC Nationites, it's Dan here proud to present you with an DC Nation Podcast that combined us giving our thoughts on the newly released Man of Steel Trailer and our review on Smallville Season 11 #25: Haunted Chapter 1 into one of our best Superman discussions ever. Then we follow it up with this episode's main event our audio commentary on the controversial DC Animated Film, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman! And if this podcast's title wasn't a dead giveaway, this Batman movie can best be described as ladies night for Bruce Wayne but let's just say the feeling is just not right as The Dark Knight's alter ego reacts to an abundance of beautiful women in a Peter Parker spastic manner rather than being the usual mysterious billionaire playboy who keeps the ladies at an arms distance. In addition, there's the little issue of one of the most uncomfortable scenes throughout the whole entire DC Animated Universe where Bruce Wayne hits on Barbara Gordon, which is so wrong on so many levels especially from my perspective as a huge Batgirl/Nightwing shipper. I mean, Batman can be described as a lot of things dark, awesome, paranoid but pedophile who hits on college girls is not one of them. I love you Bruce Timm and all your content but I'm not feeling a Batman/Batgirl romance. However, don't think this commentary turned out to be a complete bust as Michael and I still made watching the movie a great time despite our discrepancies and we did make some interesting points about how this movie acted as a bridge between Batman The Animated Series and Batman Beyond as well as why a time jump to the future was necessary at this point for the Batman side of the DC Animated Universe. But if that's not enough to get you interested in the commentary for this week feel free to skip it but I advise at least to check out the Superman discussions we had in this episode because as I said before they were really great and as an added bonus we throw in information regarding when DC Nation is returning to Cartoon Network.

As we get closer and closer to the end of the year, it's time that the Talking Crew discuss what comics will make it on our Best of 2012 lists. BUT before we get to that, we need to talk about what categories will make up our Best of 2012 lists... SO, we break down what we want to talk about and what we don't over the coming weeks and throw in some suggestions that YOU (our wonderful and loyal listeners) have suggested. What categories do we choose? Well, listen and find out! We also talk about some of the controversy going on at DC right now between Gail Simone being "forced" off of Batgirl as well as Scott Snyder and Yanick Paquette leaving Swamp Thing. Last (technically) but not least, we discuss our favourite books of the week. Included in the mix is: Richard Stark’s Parker (Book One: The Hunter), Red She-Hulk, Avengers #1, Thunderbolts #1 and Emi Lenox's EmiTown.
In this week's episode of New York Cine, Tom, Ken, and Dave are joined by two special guest, Chris Ferry and director of the short film, Charred, Mike Chmiel. The full house discuss the onslaught of trailers this week including Man of Steel, Star Trek, and The Lone Ranger. They also dig into some of the brutal reviews for The Hobbit on Rotten Tomatoes and share their thoughts on 48FPS. Enjoy fine sirs, for this be New York Cine Radio! In Episode 42 of See You Next Wednesday, we dive in and talk about the latest trailer for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. Then, we check out a different kind of vampire in Godfrey Ho's Z-grade martial arts flick Devil's Dynamite before listening to a little Mötley Crüe.
The "Man of Steel" trailer came out yesterday. I guess that whole Contrarian Masunas thing kicked in. I seem to be the only one that had issues with the trailer. Well I stake my case, don't worry it's more good things to say then bad. Check it out!
Episode 154 - Man of Steel Trailer - Jason and Dan were moved by the Man of Steel trailer so much, they knocked out this very special episode to talk about it!! It was either that, or the burritos... - www.stormfrontpros.com
