On September 11, 1961, Terry Jennings landed in the United States with her family after a short flight from Cuba. Their only possessions were $50 and one suitcase each. Her family, including her father, who had been jailed during the Bay of Pigs invasion, was now in a free country. On September 12, Terry found herself enrolled in seventh grade, drowning in a sea of English she didn't understand. Today, Terri has written over 16 books and joins me to share her story. Dr Terry C. Fry, The common person approaches disease from a 'catch it' point of view. You catch a cold, you catch AIDS, you catch mumps, you catch measles. Is that true? Or is that also manufactured? And if it is manufactured Dr fry, I want you to really explain it so that the person out there in the audience can understand what's behind that. We're talking about contagion. Now contagion exist for thousands of years. The concept of it and originally applied to demons. People were possessed by demons and they had people who drove demons out as a profession, and eventually part became the priest craft. Another part became the medical profession. But demonology was really the science of ancient times, and they believed that diseases were evil spirits and demons that possessed people. And the concept of disease evolved. But the idea that disease passed from person to person, as demons or evil spirits or whatever continued to exist. And of course when the medical system was commercialized, they kept and exploited old concepts.  Now, contagion of course, is a myth. There are many medical concepts that are outright myths that are perpetuated perpetually. Simply because they yield big profits to the cartel that controls the medical profession. Dr Terry C. These newer computerized cars that practically drive themselves, are not all they're cracked up to be. I realize, this happens to everyday folks all the time, but it just seems with me that it's one thing after another. Sometimes, it feels like I'm cursed and every week brings a new headache. Nevertheless, that's not your problem. I'm just venting because I can. I'm currently working on a new set for Underground House, meaning a whole bunch of new Tech-House hits coming your way next week. The week after that, I plan on a birthday surprise for myself (I deserve it) and will be delivering a new Legacy entry for one of my favorite DJ/producers of the moment. He's only been around for several years, but the man is simply burning it up with his modern-day disco-infused remixes. For now, I'll just leave it at that, because this set is smoking HOT! Even the most dourer of you will be hard-pressed to not wanna get up and dance, once you take this for a spin. I'll be back next week with something new. Until then...ENJOY!
