Dopo il Consiglio Nazionale in settembre, ieri anche il Consiglio degli Stati ha approvato una mozione che chiede di rinviare la disattivazione delle FM (con 21 voti contro 18 e 5 astenuti). Dallo spegnimento dell'FM da parte della SSR è risultata una diminuzione dell'audience di circa il 15%, hanno ricordato i sostenitori della mozione. Per le radio private avrebbe conseguenze economiche ancora più pesanti: a differenza della SSR, che si finanzia soprattutto tramite il canone, le emittenti private dipendono dalla pubblicità locale e regionale. Per loro, anche un calo parziale dell'ascolto si traduce subito in minori entrate pubblicitarie, mettendo a rischio la sopravvivenza dell'azienda. Nel suo intervento, il Consigliere federale Albert Rösti ha ricordato che lo spegnimento delle frequenze FM non è stato imposto dallo Stato, ma deciso già nel 2014 dalle stesse associazioni radiofoniche, inclusa la SSR. Per la transizione al DAB+ sono stati stanziati circa 84 milioni di franchi in fondi per l'innovazione, e dal 2017 la disattivazione è stata sancita anche a livello legale. Il mantenimento dell'infrastruttura analogica costa ogni anno diversi milioni di franchi, soldi prelevati dal canone.Il passo indietro della politica è abbastanza clamoroso. Fa contenti e scontenti, anche nel settore privato. E soprattutto ora si attende di capire come reagirà la SSR.Ne discuteremo con: Lorenzo Quadri, il Consigliere nazionale della Lega dei Ticinesi, favorevole a un prolungamento delle trasmissioni FM Martin Candinas, il Consigliere nazionale del Centro, favorevole invece a un loro spegnimento Alessandro Colombi, Ceo del gruppo Corriere del Ticino, che in Ticino possiede Radio 3i e ha una partecipazione in Radio Ticino, le due radio private che nel Cantone diffondono ancora su onde ultracorte.

Ein historischer Höchststand.Neu ist diese Entwicklung nicht. Seit Jahren schrumpft das Vertrauen in die etablierten Medien. Für neu aufkeimende Medien, die eine Lücke im Markt sehen, öffnet sich damit ein Fenster. Für die Altmedien selbst – und erst recht für die Classe politique, die sie als bevorzugte Bühne nutzt – wirkt der Trend dagegen alarmierend. Die Deutungshoheit des politisch-medialen Komplexes erodiert in der Schweiz, wenn auch langsam.Statt sich selbstkritisch zu fragen, warum das Vertrauen seit Jahren bröckelt, weisen Altmedien und Politik hierzulande die Verantwortung gerne von sich. Mal sind es die Russen oder die Chinesen, mal die unregulierten sozialen Medien mit ihren intransparenten Algorithmen. Das Schlagwort lautet dann: Desinformation, Missinformation.Fake News verbreiten immer ‚die Anderen'Im Juni 2024 veröffentlichte der Bund einen Bericht mit dem Titel „Beeinflussungsaktivitäten und Desinformation“, in dem vor den Gefahren vermeintlicher Falschnachrichten gewarnt wird. Und jüngst erklärte Albert Rösti – SVP-Bundesrat und Vorsteher des Eidgenössischen Departments für Umwelt, Verkehr, Energie und Kommunikation (UVEK) – bei einem Auftritt im Verkehrshaus in Luzern, dass „Desinformation ein Verbrechen“ sei.Wenn dem wirklich so ist, müsste konsequenterweise Alain Berset, ehemaliger Vorsteher des Gesundheitsdepartements, für seine Falschaussagen in der Corona-Zeit strafrechtlich belangt werden – etwa für seinen Auftritt in der Arena vom 5. November 2021, als er fälschlicherweise behauptete, das Covid-Zertifikat zeige, „dass man nicht ansteckend ist“. Doch dazu wird es nicht kommen.
