The Sunday Set Up Ep. 5: Proof Behind the Bet Manifestation Tool

Heal Squad x Maria Menounos

Play Episode Listen Later May 11, 2025 56:14

Happy Mother's Day, Heal Squad! It's another Sunday Setup, still not greenlit but vibing high anyway, as Kev and his co-conspirator Anne ease us into the week. We kick things off with melancholy theme songs, Lutheran Easter specials, and why life isn't about chasing joy or dodging pain—it's about being present for both. (Kitty rollercoaster > Space Mountain. Debate settled.) From there, it's a gratitude deep dive, courtesy of The Magic and Dr. Kim's MindBody work. The lesson? Ungratefulness isn't neutral—it takes from you. So when the negative thoughts hit, stand by... and respond with thanks. Even if it's for the very thing that triggered you. Especially if it is. We also get a simple but game-changing reframe on manifestation. Forget complicated vision boards—just feel the feeling now. Want love? Feel lovable. Want wealth? Feel successful. Want to move like you're still 22? Feel like it—and maybe throw in a basketball. Kev walks us through his own case study, from spiritual mogul-ing to BD(E) energy, all wrapped in gratitude, shadow work, and a few Captain Lou Albano references for good measure. PLUS: meditation tips for movers, ADHD learning hacks, and why window sales legend Big Ed is Kev's new inner mascot. This week's Setup takeaway? You're not waiting to become—you already are. Feel it. Live it. And as always, whether it's pain or joy, remember: nothing here is permanent…except change.   Dr. Kim D'Eramo's Workshop: https://drkimd.com/workshop-2025/    -- HEAL SQUAD SOCIALS IG: https://www.instagram.com/healsquad/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@healsquadxmaria HEAL SQUAD RESOURCES: Heal Squad Website:https://www.healsquad.com/ Heal Squad x Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/HealSquad/membership Maria Menounos Website: https://www.mariamenounos.com My Curated Macy's Page: Shop My Macy's Storefront Prenuvo: Prenuvo.com/MARIA for $300 off Delete Me: https://bit.ly/43rkHwi   code: SQUAD EMR-Tek Red Light: https://emr-tek.com/discount/Maria30 for 30% off ABOUT MARIA MENOUNOS: Emmy Award-winning journalist, TV personality, actress, 2x NYT best-selling author, former pro-wrestler and brain tumor survivor, Maria Menounos' passion is to see others heal and to get better in all areas of life. This is message 17 in the 2 Corinthians series 2 Corinthians 11:1-15 Paul warns the Corinthian church about their vulnerability to deception. He criticizes them for being ungracious, ungrateful, and unguarded, allowing false teachers to corrupt the simple truth of the gospel. Paul sarcastically addresses their preference for “super-spiritual” leaders and reminds them that, though he did not accept money from them, his ministry was driven by love. He further exposes the motives of the false teachers, showing how they exploited the church for financial gain and led them away from the truth in Christ. In exploring the distinct characteristics of God, theologians often define “grace” as receiving what one doesn't deserve, and “mercy” as not receiving what one does deserve. Ray, E.Z., Mark, and Oscar remind listeners that every breath is an unearned mercy, reinforcing the concept that grace is not guaranteed. Christians should be careful not to abuse God's mercy, as sinning because of mercy leads to judgment without mercy.Grace and mercy, intertwined, reveal God's kindness and love, yet justice remains a crucial consideration. Rejecting God's love, kindness, mercy, and grace invites justice without the cushion of grace. The crucifixion of Jesus on the Cross becomes the pivotal moment where grace, mercy, and God's justice harmonize, granting humanity what it doesn't deserve. The term "perfect" aptly describes God's flawless mercy, mirrored in Christ's atonement. The guys discuss Christ's substitutionary atonement, washing away sins and satisfying justice, and serves as a reminder that God doesn't deal with individuals based on their sins. Ungratefulness often stems from overlooking life's every breath as a gift from God, even trials and circumstances as opportunities for divine work.Ephesians 2:1-5 reminds believers of their shared past state, emphasizing God's rich mercy. Pride often clouds the memory of being equally deserving of wrath. Theologian John Calvin highlights the necessity of understanding indebtedness to God's mercy for sincere worship. Pastor and theologian John Chapell notes that gratitude, rooted in mercy, motivates enduring Christian service. Examining 1 Peter 1-3 emphasizes God's abundant mercy in spiritual rebirth, inseparable from the gospel.Reflecting on 2 Samuel 24:14, David acknowledges God's great mercy in distress, urging believers to repent and trust in God's character. To fully appreciate and extend God's mercy, acknowledgment of justified law, judgment, and wrath is vital. The guys underscore God's greater delight in mercy over wrath. Exodus 20:19 reveals a fear of God meant to prevent sin, a fear believers must cultivate, intertwined with the mercy saving them from wrath. Magnifying God's grace requires recognizing other components like discipline, an aspect of mercy. In conclusion, mercy's intricate interplay with grace, justice, and discipline reveals God's boundless love. Fostering a reverent fear and gratitude in response to God's mercy motivates a life aligned with His divine plan. Believers find themselves enveloped in the transformative power of God's unconditional and perfect love. Thanks for listening! GospelLUKE 17:11-1911On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Sama'ria and Galilee. 12And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13and lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." 14When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed. 15Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17Then said Jesus, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well."

Do you know anyone who doesn't appreciate what they are given, but instead feel like it was owed to them all along? It's rampant! The scary thing is the creep of it: we can all start out grateful for our job, our spouse, our car, our house — but in a matter of time, complacency sneaks in, and we start complaining about little things. Jesus told an entire parable about ungratefulness, and we see it throughout the Old and New Testaments alike. Today, we'll explore how God the Father and Jesus the Son both responded to entitled attitudes, and talk about how we can grow into the gratitude He guides us towards. Scriptures today: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 // Matthew 20:1-16 // Jonah 4:1-11 // Luke 17:11-19 // Philippians 4:11-13 // Luke 6:35 We're so glad you joined us for this message of direction! You cannot return evil after good has been shown to you without first becoming ungrateful for what was done, so how can people who were once grateful become ungrateful? There were people in the word filled with gratitude for what God had done, or what others had done for them in the name of God, but later became ungrateful and repaid evil for the good they received? If I am going to prevent this from ever happening to me, I have to know how this happens? In this service we will look at one such example. Episode 21. Having to deal with ungratefulness, I now clearly see why forced gratitude is something that will almost never work. It's true that we are more fortunate than a lot of people, but that shouldn't make how we feel invalid. If anything, it should encourage us to listen more to the uncomfortable ungratefulness that we're feeling inside. Find out the root cause so we can finally do something about it. There may be something missing, or something that happened in the past, or something we need to confront that we've been avoiding and it's been haunting us all this time. Manifesting that feeling of ungratefulness. ⏰Timestamps:⏰ (0:00) Intro (0:41) My experience with ungratefulness (1:36) "Yung Iba Nga Walang Makain" Mentality (2:16) Ano bang sagot sa pagiging ungrateful? When all we see is the “down fall” of others, we begin to not see the “down fall” of ourselves. We become unappreciative of the Work that God has done to others by making “Swiss Cheese” theories of people's journey with God and the things that God is doing. All is said to cover up a bigger issue that lies within ourselves that can hinder growth and a true relationship with Jesus. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thesimplechristian/support

Ungratefulness of Yahweh's blessings is sin. Many don't appreciate the blessings they get from the Almighty Father Yahweh in heaven. Many desire more things they already have in their lives. Many lust and desiring to covet things they cannot have in their lives because they are not appreciative of what's given to them and they have the spirit of ingratitude.
