What about their I’m-done-kill-me-now launch moments, everyone has those, right? What would they have done differently and what do they wish they knew when they got started? And let’s be honest what about real life? Are they grocery shopping and walking the dog during their launches??? We dive into the messes, the successes, the disappointments, the anxiety, the expectations, the transformations, and everything in between... all the things that come up and unfold in life and in business when we decide to launch our offers and are committed to keep learning.

In this episode, host Chelsea addresses business coaches and course creators who have recently had their most successful launches or months in business, emphasizing the importance of reassessing the business and growth goals after these achievements. She introduces two primary strategies: converting the offer to an evergreen program or continuing to live launch the program. Chelsea explains that the choice depends on the entrepreneur's lifestyle goals, their preferred business demands, and their relationship with the live launching process. She also brings up the risk of falling into a routine that could lead to eventual dissatisfaction with the business and highlights the need to ask meaningful questions about the direction of the business to avoid such a scenario. She invites listeners to consciously decide their next steps instead of having to radically pivot or tear their business apart later.00:00 The Importance of Assessing Growth03:40 The Consequences of Not Planning for Growth07:15 Options for Growth: Going Evergreen10:11 Options for Growth: Continuing to Live Launch12:00 The Importance of Intentionality & The Role of Your Business in Your Life
In this episode, Launch Copy Coach Chelsea hosts a live discussion about the essential question individuals should ask before their next launch: 'Do I want the level of demand and responsibility on me, during this launch, to stay the same, to increase or to decrease?' To help coaches and course creators answer this question, Chelsea introduces the concept of four R's - Roles, Responsibilities, Results, and Requirements. Each 'R' needs to be intentionally reflected on to ensure a launch that creates the kind of experience and results that are aligned with the coach's or course creator's goals. She underscores the mutually beneficial relationship that can exist between the launch and the entrepreneur – but the terms of that relationship need to be outlined. And that's why asking this question is important.00:00 The Key Question for Your Spring Launch01:34 The Crucial Question: Demand and Responsibility04:51 The Four R's: Role, Responsibilities, Results, Requirements09:31 Understanding the Demand and Your Capacity19:32 The Symbiotic Relationship of Launches24:25 Conclusion: Making Your Launch Work for You
In this episode, the host, Chelsea discusses three important trends for successful course and coaching program launches in spring 2024. The first trend gets you more revenue before you open doors to your offer, optimizing the opportunity of connecting with potential clients. The second trend grows MASSIVE trust with your community. Lastly, the third trend creates a launch experience that your people can't wait to show up for! – turning them into enjoyable experiences rather than formulaic strategies. For each of these trends, Chelsea includes examples and results from her clients' current launches that you can use to inspire your own results. At the end of the episode, Chelsea also highlights the required high levels of investment and leadership that a launch demands. While these trending strategies can create a no-brainer 'yes' scenario for potential customers, they require extra capacity and energy to brainstorm, refine, and execute – energy and capacity that not all coaches and course creators may possess. The need to fill the gap between what creates a 'yes' and what business owners can realistically offer is the highlighted point of discussion. 00:00 The Importance of Launch Trends02:23 First Trend06:31 Second Trend10:32 Third Trend16:45 The Gap Between Desired and Actual Launch Experience23:58 Closing Thoughts and Next Steps
To kick off season 3 of the podcast, I give you coaches and course creators 3 launch trends to watch for throughout 2022 and possibly to employ in your own launches.2021 was quite a year of growth, disappointment, scaling, refinement, so many challenges and so many opportunities for more. All of that has significantly impacted what audiences are looking for in terms of their experiences during a launch and inside the programs they sign up for.In this episode, I share 3 of the things that I'm expecting to see more and more launches tap into, based on the realities that 2021 has created for us.DM me on Instagram @ thelaunchcopycoach to let me know what you think about this episode!
We all fall prey to these thoughts: what if my launch doesn't work? What if people don't buy? What if I don't meet my goal? It's easy to ask these questions and then spiral into creating a whole reality in our minds that has us low-key believing that our launches won't work. Then we start acting like they won't work and making decisions from a place of panic, anxiety, fear, and all kinds of other emotions...instead of based on our data and the outcomes we actually DO want.So how do we ask the questions, but NOT spiral into that world of negative outcomes? Here's a simple mindset shift that can help!DM me on Instagram @ thelaunchcopycoach to let me know what you think about this episode!
It's hard to face the possibility that you won't hit your launch goals. But it happens, right? Based on your projections, you run the numbers, and you realize, dang, I might not make this goal based on what I'm seeing...So how do you address it? How can you think about this productively and in a way that can actually set you up to achieve your goals in the future? In this episode, I have 4 suggestions for you that build on one another and allow you to move through the disappointment and other emotions you might be feeling, while still getting valuable lessons from the launch experience that can move you toward your goals.Let's break this down.DM me on Instagram @ thelaunchcopycoach to let me know what you think about this episode!

In the midst of a very turbulent start to 2021 (to say the least), and just because it's the start of the year, I felt the need for us to think about and reflect on the ways that we have been taught and cultured in the online business space to reinvest in our businesses… Hence today's episode! I believe some of the ways we've been cultured to reinvest in our businesses are toxic, and I wanted to discuss them here, so let's dive into it.DM me on Instagram @ thelaunchcopycoach to let me know what you think about this episode!
In this episode, I tackle the 5th and final factor that will make your launch depletion-central OR lush and fulfilling: your personal energy. We continue our miniseries on the 5 factors you need to keep in mind and to create in order to be ready to launch in Q1 of 2021. In this episode, I discuss The High Stakes of Revenue Urgency -- specifically how low, moderate, and high revenue urgency typically shows up in our launches to help us meet our goals or work against them. In this episode, Chelsea kicks off a 5 episode miniseries of the 5 factors you need to keep in mind and to create in order to be ready to launch in Q1 of 2021. In this episode, she discusses HOT DEMAND -- the 2 factors that make up hot demand and how it typically shows up in our launches to meet our goals or work against them. In this episode, I discuss my hiatus, why I took it, and why I feel it's important to give ourselves grace, permission, time, and space to integrate everything we're learning before we take action. The shake-ups continue as 2020 unfolds, and they don't seem to be slowing down. But there is a way to move forward mindfully, intentionally, and with response-ability. I believe we discover that way for ourselves if we'll take the time to sit in the mess, integrate our education & our complicity, and let something real, deep, hefty and grounding grow within us...something that can withstand and outlast the waves of sacrifice and inconvenience that will come against our newfound lessons and convictions... In the end, if we're able to find that way, and pass on new, more whole, healing, and restorative agreements to those who come after us (compared to the perpetually harmful agreements that have been passed down to us), then that conviction births something that truly lasts and makes the way we live matter for good, instead of for harm.
I've talked a lot on social media about why launching has to look different here on out, and how we have to find those differences with an inside-out approach. I wanted to take some time to describe why this matters so much to me and give you a few thoughts to ruminate on as you think on your own ways forward.
With the silent and complicit or with those who are hurting and demanding change?
In this episode, I discuss the biggest mistake I see us coaches, consultants and service providers make BEFORE we launch -- and the 4 reasons why it matters that we NOT make this mistake moving forward. It's a simple 5-letter word that makes all the difference in setting your launch or any marketing campaign up for success.
In this episode of the podcast, I'm excited to invite you into a conversation with Emily Gough -- who is one of my favorites when it comes to reflecting on vulnerability as an online entrepreneur. We discuss what it means to manage your energy, how we create safe spaces for ourselves, the line between vulnerability and oversharing, holding some thing s sacred, and explore self-trust, 'the fertile void' and even Disney princesses! Though this conversation was recorded 2 weeks into COVID-19, it is applicable way beyond the pandemic as we continue to manage our energy and show up for our clients, our communities, and ourselves.
In this episode, I dive into the fourth and final characteristic of really great online launches. This characteristic isn't talked about very much and isn't often well-executed in the online business space, but it's what will differentiate your launch from every other launch out there. It's also what will keep your community coming back and sharing your brand and your launches with others -- and this is exactly what gives you sustainability in your business. I give you 2 examples of what it looks like to execute this characteristic well, and 3 questions you can think about to help you take your launches to the next level.
In this episode of the podcast, I'm excited to invite you into a conversation with my good friend Ife Madzimoyo. We discuss what it means to be present with yourself and the world around you in the middle of crisis. This episode was recorded right around the time that COVID-19 began to rock the US and lockdowns and quarantines were being instituted. Though the content in this episode specifically relates to COVID-19, it is applicable way beyond the pandemic: we as entrepreneurs will continue to face personal, local, and global crises. How we respond in the face of them makes all the difference in our ability to continue to serve those around us.
It goes almost without saying that a launch is visible. Since you're launching to people, of course, your launch is visible. But why does visibility matter so much and what are we actually doing when we get visible? In this episode, I wanted to outline exactly WHY visibility is the third characteristic of any online launch AND what we're really doing when we create consistent visibility before and during our launches. Here are the 2 reasons why visibility is a launch necessity, let's dive in!
In this episode, I go over the imperative of iteration: why is it important to iterate? How do you gather data during your launches and why do you need to do it over and over again? We cover this and more in this quickfire episode on the second characteristic that defines an online launch.
This is a very tactical episode in which I break down for every coach, consultant, and service provider the first characteristic of any online launch: structure. I go over how should you be structuring your launches and dive into the 3 phases that every launch has, as well as the purpose of each phase. Finally, we take a look at how they all work together to lead your community through an experience with you that enables them to move forward with their own lives and achieve with the transformation they desire.
In this episode, the first episode of the podcast, I'll set the stage by sharing how I view launches and the process of launching. I dive into what we online entrepreneurs really mean when we talk about a "launch," and compare the concept of a launch to running a Biology experiment (yes, Biology)! I'm going to show you how every entrepreneur who sells an offer online is really *dun-dun-dunnnn* a Biologist! Then I'll walk you through what a launch can actually look like in terms of the time-frame and the phases of every launch.
