We always talk about pretty analytical hunting tactics on the Southern Ground Hunting podcast. After all, we live in the deep south. Overthinking is a pretty common theme for deer hunters who consistently shoot bucks on public land down here. This week, however, we're going to talk about our main strategy going into the Kentucky opener...HUNT DUMB. We've been hunting this place for about 5 years now and without a doubt the people that always kill bucks are the ones hunting 100 yards from the road in the corner of a soybean field. It's almost comical to come back to camp covered in mud, blood & sweat from your hunt to find someone else at camp standing over a big buck, looking like they haven't even shed a drop of sweat. In this episode, you'll hear us recap the trip and talk about our strategy going into the hunt, as well as some changeups we made that resulted in a couple of dead deer and a great way to kick off the 2022 season!Become a SGH Patron:https://www.patreon.com/SouthernGroundHunting Our Partners:Spartan Forge - Use the code “southernground” at www.spartanforge.ai to save 25% on your membershipGoWIld -  Use the code “southernground” on your gear purchases to save 10%    https://timetogowild.com/profile/RkFymLZ3lAc4odGNudd2LwTethrd - www.tethrdnation.comSix Day Grind Coffee Co - www.sixdaygrindcoffeeco.com

In retaliation to Dyantyi's refusal to postpone this week's hearings until after Friday's application, in which President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Democratic Alliance will contest the Western Cape High Court's decision to lift Busisiwe Mkhwebane's suspension, Hoffman continued by stating that this might be the public protector's strategy regarding the section 194 proceeding against her, to delay proceeding, leading to the process restarting next year.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Why is it that some people are completely chilled about dating, others overanalyse every interaction and message, and there are others who seem to deliberately sabotage what seem like perfectly reasonable dating opportunities? The answer is very simple - these different sets of people have different “attachment styles”. Attachment is the emotional bond that forms in us in early childhood but there is also evidence to suggest that people are genetically predisposed to becoming a particular attachment style. This emotional bond unconsciously sets out the patterns which later become the core of how our adult relationships are based - both in romance and friendship. The 4 attachment styles are as follows: Secure Anxious Avoidant Disorganised (anxious-avoidant) People do not have to be necessarily pigeon-holed into one style and some people's attachment style can vary depending on the attachment style of the person with whom the relationship is with. It is important to understand also that attachment styles are stable but plastic, this means that they will not wildly fly all over the place but also they can be trained to become more secure. It might be the case that just by seeing the headlines of the styles you feel you know which category you fit into but let me give you the low-down on what might be typical romantic relationship traits of someone from each style. ___________________________ Find out your attachment type in 5 minutes here - https://quiz.attachmentproject.com/

Shootings in Buffalo, New York are down by more than 30% this year, but it's not because of any other gun control laws approved by lawmakers. Instead, police are crediting a shift to focus on "micro hot spots" for the drop in crime; a strategy that targets violent criminals rather than the general public or legal gun owners.

You only need to look online to find numerous marketers talking about how you need to do this in order to get more clients, or this new bright shiny object is THE answer. Whatever the tactic, or whatever the bright shiny tool there's one key thing that none of these marketers talk about.  And, that's - just because you can – doesn't mean you should.  Just because you can (fill in the gap of the tactic or bright shiny tool) - doesn't mean you should. Because it might be a GREAT tactic, a GREAT tool, that is right for someone else and it may be right for you BUT not right now in your business.  So, right tactic, wrong timing.   Even the best thought-out strategy may not be the RIGHT strategy for you, become it's the WRONG timing for where you're at in your business. For instance, a podcast is a great marketing strategy IF your message is already working.  If your message isn't working and you're hoping a podcast will turn things around - it won't.  Because a podcast will only amplify a message that isn't working, to a lot more people. So, be mindful of the strategies and tactics you implement.  Because you may be falling into the trap of RIGHT strategy, WRONG timing for your business.  Another example could be writing a book. Writing a book is a great way to build your authority, however similarly to a podcast if you haven't clearly defined how you're going to leverage your book, you're unclear on what you want to become known as a trusted authority in, and your message isn't working – then writing a book at this time is WRONG timing.  Have a think about some of the marketing and tools you've been using in your business. Are they working as well as you'd hoped?   Perhaps it's because they are a great tool or marketing strategy BUT just wrong timing for you with the state you're at in your business.  YOUR NEXT STEP:   Are you a coach or consultant who is struggling to stand out online? “Under Mao's Cultural Revolution, they can find something you wrote, something you said many years ago, and then demonize you as an ‘oppressor.' … You lose your job. You go to camps. You go to struggle sessions. Have you seen the struggle sessions in America today? It's called less whiteness training.” Lily Tang Williams is a survivor of communist China's Cultural Revolution and now a congressional candidate for New Hampshire's 2nd district. “I see the writing on the wall,” she says. From statues being toppled to the push for “equity” to people losing their businesses and their careers because they refused the COVID vaccines, America is descending into the same kind of authoritarianism she fled from, Williams says. “I thought I was having PTSD. I would literally wake up in the middle of the night. … This is like the Cultural Revolution all over again.” Follow EpochTV on social media: Twitter: https://twitter.com/EpochTVus Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/EpochTV Truth Social: https://truthsocial.com/@EpochTV Gettr: https://gettr.com/user/epochtv Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/EpochTVus Gab: https://gab.com/EpochTV Telegram: https://t.me/EpochTV

This is the final episode in a four-part series on how to engage another person's story. We conclude by looking at the final seven tactics for effective story engagement. Tactic 6: Continually bring your dialogue with the storyteller back to the story they have shared. Tactic 7: Identify the storyteller's feeling of complicity in their abuse. Tactic 8: This is going to sound both odd and wrong: you have to amplify the storyteller's shame. Tactic 9: Notice when the storyteller turns on themselves… and name it. Tactic 10: Invite the storyteller to feel their grief. Tactic 11: Use data points from their story to build a case.  Tactic 12: Explore their posture toward the boy or girl in the story.
