THE FLASH begins with a superb action scene where Barry Allen, aka The Flash, saves some people, including some babies from a maternity ward, from a sinkhole and a falling hospital building. Barry discovers he can go back in time by running faster than the speed of light. So, he goes back to make sure his mother wasn't murdered and his father wasn't falsely accused. By changing the past, Barry has created a new timeline where Superman isn't there to save Earth from General Zod and his soldiers. Barry gets some help in trying to put things right.

ELEMENTAL is an animated fantasy from Pixar and Disney. The story takes place in Element City where water, fire, land, and air people live together, but not always peacefully. Ember, an adult female fire creature, is set to take over her father's business when he retires. However, he keeps postponing his retirement because she can't control her temper. One day, her temper causes a young water person and city inspector to report her to his boss. She convinces him, however, to help her keep the store open. This leads to unexpected consequences, not the least of which is that Wade and Ember are falling in love.

SOUND OF FREEDOM follows the inspiring true story of Tim Ballard, a former government agent who puts his life on the line to rescue hundreds of children from sex trafficking. After an operation that saves a young boy from trafficking, Tim learns the boy's sister has also been sold into the sex trade. At first, he continues to operate under Homeland Security, but when funds run out, he takes matters into his own hands. With the help of a small team, Tim launches an investigation to save the boy's sister, save many other children and bring the perpetrators to justice.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 tells an emotional tale about the Guardians risking their lives to save a friend. The crazed scientist who experimented created Rocket, the wise-cracking racoon character, wants him returned. One of the villain's rogue colleagues comes to the Guardians' headquarters and mortally wounds Rocket. The villain has planted a coded device in Rocket to stop anyone from reviving him. So, while Rocket hangs on for dear life in their spaceship's medical facility, the Guardians must infiltrate the villain's huge lab to retrieve the device's code and save Rocket.

SWEETWATER is the little-known story of basketball player Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton who became the first black player in the NBA. The movie starts with Jim Caviezel in a cameo as a sportswriter who gets in a cab and recognizes the older Sweetwater as his driver. He asks incredulously why Nat is driving a cab. Jump back to 1949, where Nat's playing for the Harlem Globetrotters in an exhibition game with NBA world champion Minneapolis Lakers. The rest of the movie shows how Nat broke the racial barrier to become the first black player with the New York Knicks.

THE WAY is an inspiring, captivating movie about the spiritual journey of a father who lost his son on a religious pilgrimage in Europe. Tom, an agnostic eye doctor, goes to pick up his son's body in France. There, he learns about the religious pilgrimage his son was taking when he died suddenly. The Camino de Santiago is a spiritual journey starting in France and leading to the Catholic church in Santiago in Northwestern Spain, where tradition says the remains of Jesus Christ's brother, St. James, are buried. Feeling guilt and wanting to reconnect with his dead son, Tom decides to walk the path himself. Along the way, he meets several other people doing the same thing, and his hardened heart is transformed.

GUY RITCHIE'S THE COVENANT follows the story of U.S. Army Sergeant John Kinley and his new Afghan interpreter, Ahmed. The Taliban ambush Kinley and kill all his men at a weapons cache. Ahmed and Kinley must evade the Taliban and flee into the brutal Afghan wilderness. Kinley is shot, but Ahmed summons what strength he has left to get Kinley home. IT AIN'T OVER is a documentary about the life of famed New York Yankees catcher, Lawrence Peter “Yogi” Berra. Yogi was a larger-than-life presence to his teammates, family and all who knew him. The movie details his feats as a formidable major league player, his personal life, and his “Yogi-isms,” hilarious, nonsensical sayings for which he became famous. One of the funniest is, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it.” Many of his sayings became popular American idioms, such as “It ain't over til it's over,” a reference to the final ninth inning of professional baseball.

ANXIOUS NATION is an important documentary about the anxiety that seems to be plaguing many young people today. The movie discusses the problem and offers solutions. The movie shows the hardships of growing up with anxiety, and how parents can help their child through it all. The movie warns viewers that feelings of anxiety sometimes can lead to depression and suicide. Experts are shown talking about ways to combat anxiety and mental health in a healthy way, so parents can help their children navigate an imperfect world.

PATTERNS OF EVIDENCE: JOURNEY TO MOUNT SINAI II is a documentary where investigative filmmaker Timothy Mahoney examines three of six possible sites for Mount Sinai where God gave Moses and his followers the Ten Commandments. After rejecting three sites in the first movie, Mahoney and his crew visit the remaining three sites. Mahoney talks to archeologists and historians about the three sites. They look at possible campsites leading to the mountains. They examine the physical attributes around them, and any ancient artifacts or inscriptions. For example, is there enough water and is there a possible altar?

THE POPE'S EXORCIST gives the Vatican's chief exorcist from 1992 to 2016 the Hollywood treatment. At 63, Father Gabriele Amorth has only been the apprentice of the Vatican's chief exorcist for a year, since 1986. Although Father Amorth won't take that position himself until 1992, he's proven himself to be a wise, capable defender of the Faith against Satan's minions. A year later, the good priest faces his biggest challenge. A powerful demon has taken possession of an American boy at a Spanish abbey with an awful past.

CHUPA is a delightful, animated fantasy on Netflix. It follows the adventures of a Mexican boy from Kansas, Alejandro, who meets a young Chupacabra on summer vacation in Mexico with his grandfather and his two cousins. Alejandro decides to try and return his new friend to its mother. However, a scientist doing research in the area, who seeks the creature for selfish reasons, tries to capture Chupa.

POLITE SOCIETY is an action comedy from Britain about two sisters from a Pakistani Muslim family. Ria is a high school student who attends a martial arts class and longs to be a Hollywood stuntwoman. Her older sister, Lena, has quit her dream of being an artist. Later, Ria becomes upset when Lena starts going out with Salim, a handsome rich young doctor with an overbearing mother. When Lena and Salim get engaged only a month later, Ria is furious that Lena has given up on her dreams. She decides to sabotage the wedding but is surprised when she discovers that the plans Salim and his mother have for Lena are much worse than she imagined.

LOVE AGAIN is a romance about Mira, a children's author in New York who witnesses the accidental death of her boyfriend, John. The two were growing very close, and John was about to propose. So, two years later, Mira's still grieving and hiding out at her parents' home outside the city. Mira's sister convinces her to return to the city. An older friend says he copes with his wife's death by pretending to talk to her. So, Mira starts texting John on his old smartphone, and ends up forming a love connection to a music critic who's been reassigned the phone number.

Chapter 5 of THE WINGFEATHER SAGA is an animated fantasy television series streaming on Angel Studios. It centers on the Igiby children trying to break their mother and grandfather out of Fang prison. Their neighbors distract the guards for the children. However, the local Fang commander already knows about the prison break. He and his soldiers capture the children. He sentences the entire Igiby family to the inhumane Fang gulag. Is there any way for them to escape?

The final three installments of A SHOW ABOUT ANTHEM LIGHTS, an animated comedy on Pure Flix, take skeptical shots at the Christian music industry and church pastors. In Episode 118, the band goes on a cruise, where they take themselves too seriously. In the next episode, the band attends a Sunday morning worship service and asks the self-absorbed pastor for a favor. Finally, in Episode 120, the band goes to the pastor and their social media publicist to get help with the growing dissension in the band, but they get no help.

In “The Mines of Mandalore,” the second episode of Season Three of THE MANDALORIAN on Disney Plus, Din Djarin and Grogu explore the ruins of Mandalore. Din must “baptize” himself in the “Living Waters” of the planet's mines, or else risk being shunned forever by his former clan. CITADEL is a new spy thriller on Amazon Prime. In the first two episodes, a spy named Mason Kane and his former partner, Nadia, are two of the last living agents of Citadel, an independent spy agency working against an evil crime syndicate called Manticore. Run by eight of the world's richest families, Manticore has found a hidden black case that holds all of Citadel's remaining secrets and access to the world's nuclear weapons. Mason has retrieved the case, but Manticore has captured Citadel's current director, which places Mason's wife and daughter in danger.

In Episode 305 and 306 of STAR TREK: PICARD, Star Fleet sends a woman to investigate Picard's actions on the Titan. Picard could face a court martial. However, the woman is a friend. She warns that a cabal of shapeshifting creatures has infiltrated Star Fleet. They're bent on revenge against Star Fleet and all “solid” creatures. Picard flees from Star Fleet warships. With help from his former Chief Engineer, he sends an Away Team to infiltrate the Daystrom Institute to see what other terrible weapon the shapeshifters took.

1917 is a powerful, patriotic, moral war movie set at the western front in France and Belgium during World War I. A British commander sends two soldiers, Blake and Schofield, across No Man's Land through bombed-out areas to warn 1600 British troops on the front lines that they are heading into a German trap. Blake is chosen because his brother is among the 1600 troops. Schofield doesn't want to go, but Blake heads off, and Schofield follows him. Will they make it in time?
