It is with a heavy heart that I've decided to pause my podcast. School has been unexpected and presented me with so many things that I would like to try out. This podcast has given me the opportunity to speak to so many amazing people and for that I am forever thankful. Thank you for everything! Perhaps I will return as this is something I've truly enjoyed. However, doing it alone on top of other endeavours has been a struggle and if I am going to do this it has to be 110% which I'm unfortunately not at right now. Thank you for everything. The best episodes are with the people that I can gossip with about our lives afterwards and these were those types of guests. I feel like I'm just now healing from this massive hangover. Instead of a hangover from drinking its a hangover from 2020. 2020 was the blur. It was the night out with your friends where you drank too much and you just go with the flow and you don't really know what you're doing. 2021 is the next day where you're thinking "waitttttttttttt what did I do?" Putting the pieces together, making connections, regretting that hookup, learning from mistakes, and pinky promising yourself you're never going to do that again. POINT IS, I think I've had an "awakening" if you will. nOT to be dRAmaTIc. TRIGGGERRR WARNING Guys, were about to get deep and we're about to get dark.. With interestingly, one of the most entertaining speakers that I have spoken to. It is my first time speaking to a TEDX speaker on the show. So this was very exciting for me. Frank has dealt with something called Chronic suicidal ideation his whole life. Which really scared me when I first heard about it, but a common thing that many people deal with daily. I quote, "My car broke down; I could fix it, buy a new one, or I could just kill myself." A thought that Frank can't help but think in many situations. Why does he think this way? He says it's an issue that is passed through genetics, and something that he has learned to deal with throughout his life. In fact, he thinks its the reason for so much of his success. We get super deep into mental health, depression, what suicidal thoughts are, and how to deal with situational depression (IE what many people are dealing with during covid). I have always been more or less healthy and active but there is aLWAYs room for improvement! These past two years I have gone super micro and have examined the ways I could improve my health on the daily. That includes cutting out unnecessary foods, incorporating anti-inflammatory and immune supporting foods, figuring out what exercises work for me, sleep, and so on. Health is SO much more beyond the way you look... I hate how the mainstream media represents "health". It's about feeling energized, refreshed, light, focused, and ALIVE. Our default is to feel good and alert as humans. You have no idea how much your physical habits affect your mental state as well. Its a huge cycle. This episode covers my daily healthy habits from morning to night. Anything from shots of cranberry juice to freezing cold showers to my motivator for working out.This may not be your cup of tea, its a super chill episode but if you want to learn about/ improve/ get inspiration for your health, I highly recommend. I don't know how I ended up in the Czech a republic embassy giving skincare advice  to the ambassador and his wife while they told me  how they threw a birthday party for the Dali llama but I guess it's all thanks to my mom and the queen herself, Indira Gumarova. I'm so honored to have her on today's episode.
