Formed in December 2016 as part of Nelson Pou's vision, the group consists of vocalist Nelson Pou, guitarists Miguel Martinez and Jerry “Shai” Garza, bassist Luis Valentin, and drummer Alex Arneson . Since their formation, Semper Acerbus released their first EP in summer of 2017 and the have released 4singles from their upcoming first album, that will be available in early October l, in all platforms available. Semper Acerbus primarily plays heavy metal and metalcore combining sounds from extreme metal and hardcore. Like some modern metalcore bands, Semper Acerbus vocally combine singing, screaming vocals, and growls.
