Lord, I was so wrong. In motherhood, just like in life, it is what you make it. And I want it, motherhood, to be big and loud and soft and quiet and whatever it is that I need it to be. Depression takes those thoughts away from you. It lies to you and tells you that you can't have the life you want. When the fog cleared, I saw the life I wanted, and I made it. I'm the boss now.
