    Ivy Insights

The Connecting Podcast is an incredibly insightful and thought-provoking podcast that delves into the core issues of our culture and the church. The discussions are framed in a way that brings truth to topics such as singleness, sexual sin, and how to love our brothers and sisters in Christ well. As a graduate student studying to be a Christian LMFT, this podcast has been an absolute blessing, providing me with valuable knowledge and emphasizing the importance of Christ and the Gospel.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the caliber of guests that are featured. From Sam Allberry to Paul Tripp, each episode brings on individuals who offer beautiful wisdom and perspectives on various topics. The conversations are deep-dives into relevant issues, providing Biblically-based encouragement while maintaining a truthful approach. It is refreshing to listen to a podcast that offers such depth in its discussions and focuses on building up listeners in their faith.

However, there is one aspect of this podcast that can be improved upon - the audio quality. In some episodes, there seems to be a discrepancy in volume between Paul and Shelby's voices, requiring frequent adjustments in volume levels. While this may seem like a minor issue, it can be quite distracting for listeners who want to fully engage with the content without any interruptions.

In conclusion, The Connecting Podcast is an encouraging and enriching podcast that provides valuable insights for both counselors and those seeking counsel. The authenticity displayed by the guests in sharing their heartfelt emotions and struggles resonates deeply with listeners. This podcast offers practical help for Christian living through its wealth of wisdom and nuggets of truth. Despite minor audio quality issues, I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking for meaningful conversations centered around faith and personal growth.
