It's out first time back together in person, not at a convention, post COVID! Feels so good to be back in person again. Today we are diving right in to the Marvel TV Universe and sharing our thoughts on the three Marvel shows today. Loki is still going but so much has happened already. Lots of theories and opinions all over the place on Loki. Disney is trying new things and setting us up for real change in the MCU. I think we can all still continue the high level of expectation on their execution, but there is definitely some nuance in how they are writing the stories that is a little different. Join in on the conversation and let us know how you are enjoying the shows, or not. We want to hear all sides of the story. Thank you all for listening, we love you all! ***Explicit warning*** Well the seal has been broken, someone got a little heated during this conversation and threw out a few expletives! So be warned, this is the first episode we've had to mark as explicit. Today we discuss the wave in popularity of video games being broadcast and viewed as sport. What are your opinions? Today we chat it up with a very interesting novelist, Neil Perry Gordon. If you like to read fictional stories and also learn something new about history, Neil's books are right up your alley. We were captivated right from the start of the conversation. So many stories and they are incredibly interesting. Whether it's the adventurous "A Cobbler's Tale" centered around the historic height of the Eastern European immigration to the new world, or the metaphysical nature of "Moon Flower", Neil's stories are going to entertain you from bringing to end. With this episode we started out thinking it would be a general conversation about how the current situation our world is in, how would the movie theater business be effected. Well, this got a bit out of control as some were very passionate about their opinions. It became very interesting to say the least. With studios releasing movies directly to rent via streaming services, new release dates being moved around daily and the current lack of customers, how do you think theaters will come out on the other end? The theater industry has fired the first show declaring they will initially ban any movie from studios using the direct release model instead of waiting for theaters to open back up first. Another fantastic remote interview! A few blips in the audio, sorry about that. Still working out the kinks of these remote interviews. Best known (to us) for his role as "Bad Boy" Mike Barnes from Karate Kid III, Sean has many acting accolades to his name rising to stardom with recurring roles on daytime soap operas such as The Young and the Restless, General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful. We bring all of it into the discussion including his new project on Amazon Prime, Studio City, which is hilarious and a fantastic concept. And the winner, by many miles, is Micah! This week we are talking about our wager we had last year with all the summer blockbuster movies. We all went in on what we thought each movie would gross at the box office and how they would rank in the end. We all picked the obvious #1 which was Avengers Endgame, however, it broke down heavily for most of us after that. Micah was the lone survivor and because of that, he gets to pick a movie that the group HAS to watch no matter what! This may be bad, we'll let you know. This week we sit down with one of the best bands we've ever seen or heard, the WannaBeatles!!! Being such fans of Beatles music, we can't help but really dig what these guys are doing. Their musicianship is next level incredible and their harmonies are off the charts. They are even Grammy Award finalists!! If you've never heard this band you owe it to yourselves to see them as soon as possible. We get a real treat at the end where they play a short set for us and it is incredible. Just don't be quick to judge based on our sound, being a podcast we are not necessarily equipped to record full bands. Please take our word for it, they are amazing and if you are a fan of Beatle music, what are you waiting for. Check out their website at the bottom and see when and where they will be performing next. Thank you all for listening and we love you all! Stay eclectic everybody! https://www.thewannabeatles.com

Oola was a green-skinned Twi'lek slave forced to dance for Jabba The Hut. We meet her in the Star Wars cinematic universe in Episode VI - Return of the Jedi where she was portrayed by Femi Taylor. Today we are joined by Ms. Taylor for a quick interview. This was a great honor for us. Femi was an absolute delight to talk with and we are all onboard to bring Oola back, perhaps in an origin story!. After the interview we dive in to Matt's world and discuss film and TV roles that were small but had a huge impact on the over all story and some that have taken on a life outside the movies, creating special fandoms and cosplay fun. Join in on the conversation and tell us some small roles or character we missed that impacted the story they were a part of. Thank you all for listening and as always, we love you all! This week we sit down and talk with Marci Coleman and Kyle Pruzina who form the band Suitcase Souls. We thoroughly enjoyed this show as this is one extraordinarily talented band. They are newly formed, yet their writing and singing are on a level that would make you believe the've been performing together for years. Not only do they answer some questions for us, they perform a few tunes as well. Please take the time and check them out. Find them on social media using the handle @suitcasesouls Be on the lookout for their full length album to drop later this year and watch for them performing near you as they tour all over seeking world domination. We expect nothing less. Until next time, stay eclectic everyone! In our Jim's Gems segment (#trademark LOL) we lay down some very interesting facts that surprised us, and we're fans. At the end we play a game, well it's not sleep with, marry, kill. It's more like guilty pleasure, treasure, destroy. This was a lot of fun. Please join in on the conversation and let us know your favs of Chevy.
