Today, my wife Jennifer joins me for Part 1 of our three-part series, “It Is Finished: The Sufficient Sacrifice of Jesus Christ.”In this first episode, we examine humanity's greatest problem—sin—and why only Jesus Christ could provide the perfect and sufficient sacrifice for our salvation. Was Christ's death on the cross truly enough? Five Things the Bible Tells Us to RejectWhat You Must Leave Behind to Follow ChristFollowing Jesus requires more than believing—it requires surrender. Scripture calls us to reject anything that competes with our devotion to Christ or prevents us from becoming who God created us to be.In this episode of A Time in the WORD, we examine five things the Bible commands us to forsake. Discover what must be left behind—and what we gain when we choose Christ above everything else. Listen now and ask yourself: What is God calling me to leave behind?
