I'm a creator from the UK who loves talking about art and life and getting my hands on anything creative. This week I sit down with actor, teacher and overall performance creator @ryangilmartin5876 as we talk about a challenge. Ryan like myself is from a background in small towns and villages but also like me has been and seen plenty of the world. Creating shows and experiences Ryan mixes history, folklore and insight to try and bring more creative opportunities to the world. So this week we talk about the challenge of doing that in smaller and more rural places. Embracing the native homesteads and looking at how places like the East Midlands, Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Humberside (I could keep going) face a challenge with not only finding creative and conceptually forward spaces but how generating those places can be a challenge too. To bring something not purely functional to an area where frivolity is met with suspicion is a challenge and a topic close to my core!I do suggest you check out Ryan and what he's up to. At the time this episode goes live he's performing in "Henry the VIII used to hate us" and tickets are available across the east of England.Ryan's links:https://easternangles.co.uk/event/henry-viii-used-to-hate-us/https://www.instagram.com/ryan.gilmartin1/The show is available on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteSupport us onhttps://www.patreon.com/yellingatconcreteIf you'd like to support at all there is a patreon and I have the goal of finding 38 members by the end of the year to make the show fully funded in terms of the running costs! This week I slide down the counter to talk about how rarely some decisions are in your hand, be it through resources, days of the week or simply that the options are too many. I talk through a lazy easter Sunday and think on all that could have been and how my mind often doesn't let me rest.Something I think a lot of people end up dealing with is indecision and splitting priority. Because the world is abundant and you have so much to do and want to do and so little time. So this week I talk through that. The show is available on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteSupport us onhttps://www.patreon.com/yellingatconcreteIf you'd like to support at all there is a patreon and I have the goal of finding 38 members by the end of the year to make the show fully funded in terms of the running costs! This week I sat down with Mariela Flor Olivo "Mari" who talked me through the wonderful world of learning! Mari is an extremely talented individual who has taken on exploring art and creation through performance and continues to do so. This week we talk about how learning skills of self expression is more than just mastering the art itself but gives you all these extra talents like people skills, cognitive theory and mindful practice that transfer to the day to day work we do!I've seen this no end in real life working with people who have side passions and who have made their living at the behest of their art but made it to support their own art as well. So if you're worried about the careful balance of art and capitalism or how working class artists get left behind you should maybe sit down for this chat too as it might help perspective or how people from different backgrounds can find their spaces to create. This week I sit down to talk cognition and problem solving. It seems more often than not when I talk to people about problems the main blocker is they are thinking about it. Over thinking it. Needing to map an idea out and really detail through something. Which is one way of doing it. The other is to go the other approach. Stop thinking. Do something else. Watch something. Entertain yourself. Put your body through some stress. My theory is as a human we've have fight or flight and during moments when we are problem fixated you can use that fight or flight to cut through to what you truly want. So this week I cosy in and sit and think about the notion of just not thinking. This week we talk the draw backs, the struggles the problems with having multiple interests. Being multi interested can be a problem for a creative soul. It means you'll always be stretched thin, always struggle to target an audience and over all always have unfinished ambitions but at the same time...Damn it's fun. After recent conversations with guests @ItsKavi and @AllOneVoice It seems like I'm not alone in my pursuit of being a little bit of everything all at once. So this week I sit down to talk about how to manage that expectation and perhaps give a little insight for budding creatives. Continuing the chain letter of suggested guests! This week I got time to sit down with Ska Punk extraordinaire @DavidMcWane Former drummer now Singer of Big D and The Kids Table. A band who I actually found out about maybe 20+ years ago when I was coming up through the alternative music scene. Dave sat down with me to talk multiple topics the main of which is the American fascination with idols and royals and the impact that can have on artists starting out. It's a sobering lesson for anyone trying to create to know there is a blocker ahead but by recognizing it we can challenge it and keep creating! You should definitely check out Daves music @bigdandthekidstable Especially as they are on tour and live music is life blood! More of a conceptual walk through that a narrative one. After seeing a mountain of Essays and reviews of The Simpsons I decided the only real apporach I could take is to ask. This week i sit down with a word smith in the form of @AllOneVoice Bruce. Bruce is a writer, rapper, poet and journalist who i know of having seen him perform along side one of my other guests! I sort of knew Bruce would be a great conversation to have as his work often delves into topic i consider in my own creative process as well as just being a very well rounded creator who is simply looking at the core to express and enjoy that journey. This week we sit down to talk method, to talk creation and figure out inspirations impact on how you come to be as an artist. A lot of art especially in the modern era is seen as imitational but art inspiration can come from any method or moment not just ones in the same vien as your own. So sit down, grab a drink and consider these points. Also check out Bruce's work. As we enter the new year it's important to take stock and listen to your mind and your body and the random man on the internet as he has a slight breakdown of recent conversations he's had about why we create art. How we improve on ourselves and how that comes through in the work we make. Resolutions can be a flag, a badge of honour or just a bench mark but they dont need to be ruiners of your self esteem and progress. So we discuss how better is a false term and too vague or a line to request feedback or even consider yourself. I'd love to hear the challenges you're setting yourself though and goals for the future so it you're so inclined let me know below. Welcome to 2025! First episode of the year as is tradition I sit down with my brother Martyn and this time his Partner Amy @AlternativeAdventures as we discuss the state of online and what really is "cool" when it comes to an online database of content. Is it slang and constant clout being shown off? Is it just a database of information? Is this just a man in his late thirties complaining about how he's struggling to find content he connects with? It could be all of the above!Whilst myself and Martyn are very similar we differ on many key points and one is how to rectify this. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter in the comments and until then you can check out Amy and Martyn on their channel and find the podcast on other platforms:Alt adventureshttps://www.youtube.com/@UCNt5dFXQHz7u92xOBuLnMKQ Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteIf you'd like to support the show you can do so for as little as a dollar or pound a month over on patreon. Bad is subjective but throwing out a whole things because of one aspect of what you were expecting to me seems like madness? Maybe I'm becoming the poster child of middle ground but I think you can enjoy much more in life if you embrace the things which change your view and expectations. So lets talk, about bad things. Inspired by the recent Joker 2 reviews and Borderlands debacle I decided to look more internally a the things i've disliked and ask is what I like bad or was it just not what I expected?Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. There are a couple of guests on the podcast who have been back many times. Pinch is one of them. We met many years ago at a women in the arts event in Lincoln and since have continued to swap and share stories and tales with one another in personal and professional capacity. We in fact last sat down to do this three years ago! Since then Lauren has gone "full time artist" and settled into the role of being a creative painter exploring the business and personal side in art and what that means to her. So sit down and chill and lets talk about what you need to do to be a "profitable artist" and the turmoil that can create as a creative. Call it a bad habit, call me an enabler but it seems everyone I meet i encourage to make something. This could be a fundamental flaw in myself but if I have a goal that goal is to convince everyone to explore creating. This is not to say everyone could and should be an artist but there is nothing stopping you exploring putting pencil to pad, paper to paper or baked good in a bowl to discover the fun of invention though creation so lets talk about my history of that and how talking to me can be somewhat dangerous for your free time.Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week I get to chat to an enigma. Comic artist of 'The other end comics' Neil Kohney has been popping up on my instagram feed for a while and no doubt you have seen his work! He create comic strips which subvert expectation and jump from extreme to extreme. Wanting to know more about them and the man behind the rats. I reached out to talk, subversive art, the nineties styling in the work but also how to keep an audience engaged and guessing. So come join us on the creative journey and learn how to write comics, form working relationships and grow your own work!Find Neilhttps://www.instagram.com/neilkohneyhttps://www.patreon.com/TheOtherEndhttps://tinyview.com/the-other-endhttps://www.reddit.com/user/neilkohney/Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week I sit down to talk about you! Finding and audience for your work can be hard and everyone and their aunty is out there telling you how to build and grow your views and clicks. So this week I sit down to talk about the other side of it. What about the fear of actually having one? Being held to account and needing to be kept in line because your audience begins dictating what you can and cannot make? I think this is something which stops artists and even myself promoting our work to the nth degree as we worry about losing that freedom to just make.Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week i sit down with NY based musician, artist, creator and overall legend which is @ItsKavi . Who I met a couple years back and has in the last few months become quickly someone I wanted to collaborate with and get to know more. Kevin or Kavi as he's known is a ball of creation working in improvisational word play, music and visual art and really shares a lot of ethics when it comes to making art that I do which is great to find and why I wanted to catch up with him in the first place. So this week we sit down to talk art, how to progress, how to grow and how to stop stunting your own creations before your even begin. You can check out his work here:https://www.instagram.com/kavi.tv/https://www.youtube.com/@ItsKavihttps://itskavi.com/ Hosted on Acast. This week we talk money and how the in reality these investments in art "art" are really short sighted financially. By alienating the creative user base companies are going to quickly find themselves in the process of needing unique ideas. Something AI cannot generate without theft. There is also the question of financial return. If you invest a few thousand in an art art engine and then need people to maintain and manufacture within it you're going to quickly get replicated, packaged and need to work near constantly to stay ahead but what happens if you spend a couple grand on an individual? So make a one off? To make a unique piece you can profit on for hundreds of years?Lets talk about that.Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week i sit down with good friend of mine Emma Louhglin! Emma and I have known each other for a few years now and actually did the terrible dangerous thing of chatting via the internet first when i was streaming throughout the pandemic! Turns out we ended up living in the same area but she is in her own right a talented marketing manager working in New York within the music scene! With a history in small music and big music we often chat about bands and the direction of labels and media so we thought we'd finally take a moment to sit and do a deep dive on it and ask what the kids think of art. How Gen Z are getting their beginnings with no managers, no publicists and no venues to play and how getting started with Art can sometimes be the biggest challenge!Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week we focus on the big questions the non trivial internet answers. What happens when your mind is so focused on small arguments that you expunge your energy and thoughts into the simple idea of putting a fruit on a pie? I tend not to get dragged into internet arguments, even in real life i avoid these kinds of asks because I have other things to focus on. Bigger questions I want answers too like Just where is Carmen Sandiego. So lets explore. Explore the energy you spend on the correct pronunciation of Scone, the idea of Pineapple on Pizza and who makes the best bagel and instead just say ok. Now lets move on. During a very recent solo podcast I talking about how the internet had become gentrified and in a world of online subscriptions, ad block and internet gate keeping we were in a different age. And Along with that I had another thought. Can you gentrify a human being? A mind? A thought? It's something I believe I've witnessed. Something where those who didn't have money no longer appreciate the simple idea of the free item or the low cost option because the price tag had made it worthless to them.So lets pick that scab a little more and ask. Can you gentrify a mind?Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week we break new ground with the most people I've ever had on an episode on an episode!I'm hanging out with local New York based band @PostageTramps . Comprised of members : Tristan, Julian, Sophia and Akshay they have been doing what artists do best and finding their sound and space within NYC. That's not an easy route to take especially in NY and with online spaces dominating new music. But I think they are talented and lovely people so figured we should talk to them.So we sit down to talk, the industry, Live shows vs online, Billy Joel and where an new indie band finds themselves in an ever changing online space when they are just getting started. This week I get a little nostalgic. I get a little reminiscent and I get a little honest about how I was a few weeks back. The older internet was a free place but not completely free. But it was just enough that you could find random spaces and hang out there with no need to buy anything or watch an advert or even pay attention because they couldn't even collect your details! So lets sit down and talk about that and how slowly but surely they are gentrifying the internet.Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week I sit down with Poet Laureate Brooke Finegold. Brooke is an absolutely fantastic poet, comedian and artist. Just filled with a passion which inspires people around her. Not only being a performer in her own right having performed at the Edinburgh Fringe with rave reviews and consistently performing her work round Brooklyn but getting other involved with her Poetry Salon PIG (Poetry is Gay) I had to reach out and see how she got to where she is.We talk a lot of things in this episode not least the glory which is Lucozade and dealing with loss on the subway but all about creativity in general. The internet is an odd place, as discussed recently with WTF Pots the length and breadth of what can get you in hot water with the powers that be of any platform is a real challenge for artists and not just in the modern era. In 1966 Lenny Bruce listed out nine words he'd been arrested for in 1972 George Carlin made a statement on his album Class Clown to follow it up with seven words you cant say on TV. So I thought I'd channel my inner stand up and change the format slightly and discuss all the things you cant discuss on Youtube without the watchful eye of the moderators taking a look. As we discuss not the topics themselves but the premise of what these items create you too can join us as we talk about how to get banned on Youtube. Here's hoping it doesn't get taken down.Available also on:Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. The first fundamental of creating is "F*** your fundamentals" Or rather that the best way to create anything is to consider that your core values and what you're looking to get out of things is often different to someone else.So whether you're looking to understand the fundamentals of photography, Illustration, sculpture, baking, building, music or anything which requires some level of method and technique to complete My first suggestion is to simply just try and work with what you have and then build on top of your first fail. As someone who fully utilizes visual language as a way of communicating and with a podcast which is based around encouraging discussion and communication it felt about the right time to sit down and catch up.In doing so this week we discuss just how little we know of one another despite both of us having a fairly solid online presence and how we've know each other through other people for years but are both very guarded with our own lives. In a world where people are living online and exposing every inch of their day it was great to catch up. Who watches cartoons? Should adults watch cartoons? Is it ok to enjoy cartoons? Mystery ain't it. It seems a generational divide more than anything where adults who play with lego, parents who play video games and people who enjoy oddity are setup to be knocked down when they meet people who are older. This week I wax lyrical on a topic of when i was questioned by an older woman in a lift and discuss how your interest in novelty doesn't define how good or bad you are at taking responsibility within your own life. Feel bad about your life? How dare you? Got a complaint about the world? What a whiny kid you are. Didn't you know there is always someone worse of, in peril or wholly unprepared for whatever situation they are befallen with? You didn't? Oh well let me explain. That's right we're going out on a bang of controversey and logic. Something we were told often as kids or at least my generation was "There are kids starving in Africa" hell our generation coined the phrase "First world problems" but the reality is never so simple. Tragedy and pain isn't comparable and there will be always people worse off. So lets delve into that and discuss the phrases which made us feel guilty and how you can have a bad time and still sympathise with those having a worst one.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. In the second to last episode of the year we talk about defiance, how differing from the status can be liberating but come with many pitfalls and how social media has generated a culture of being seen to be against things but doesn't necessarily progress a cause and how considering your actions and methods along side your online presence can be very effective. It's also just a chance to tell a few childhood stories and apologise for something I did as a youngster and not apologise for some others.tuneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week i have a muse, a moment of reflection on the idea of use it or lose it and how as a sentence it's a very human phrase. We often feel like we're missing out in some way or that we're abandoning a practice but overall it's nonsense. It's our anxiety of facing challenge in something we knew we were previously good at. I'm in the midst of Inktober and a couple other challenges i set myself as well as recovering from being ill and faced this idea many times. If I stop making will i never make again? Will I forget how to draw? how to cook? How to use stairs?Who knows. What I do know is this phrase isn't used by hamsters.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week i talk emotional intelligence and well being and how creative efforts can give younger people an outlet which prevents them becoming emotional stunted adults. We've all me them, the temper tantrums, the poor winners the adults who have struggled to get to their age without realising that the chorus of the world does not sing for them. So what's the answer? How can this emotionally stunted beardo say he knows better? Well simply put I might not. But I do know what helped me cope as a toddler, as a teen and ad a young adult and it was learning to process emotional insecurity and anxiety in a manner which was more productive to the people around me and that seemed to be of more value.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. Ever watched Mamma Mia? No? ever watched the second? No? Me Either but I was captivated by a video I saw online which came very close to convincing me other wise. Trevor from Media Processing created an absolutely fantastic break down of Mamma Mia 2 and in doing so found me e-mailing him to talk all things film, media and creation.Trevor is a Film/Video and Music producer living in LA and from chatting to him we share alot of the same tick boxes when it comes to noticing the symbolic and nuance of the media we consume. We sit down to talk his music, his life and how learning skills of deconstruction can be a blessing and curse. We also of course talk at length about Mamma Mia 2 and Abba and even touch on Barbie as it had just released at the time of recording. So join us for a lovely jaunt and explore of just what all this visual madness means. You can catch Trevor of at Media Processing https://www.youtube.com/@mediaprocessingchannel/videosAnd if you want to watch his video on Mamma Mia 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aMzBIz7wIE&ab_channel=MediaProcessing it's here. Done is better than perfect is the mantra of Sheryl Sandberg. It was the slogan of tech kids for years and even now in corporations you're seeing bros and brosettes coming out the wood work pushing it. You can see it with the death of twitter and all other apps which are flung into the market. Sloppy products, broken releases and overall just a mess of information and production planning. But it's wrong...Now I'm not saying the slogan is wrong to the extent you should be exploring perfectionism and driving yourself insane but it's incorrect as a statement and there are better ones. So this week we sit down and talk about, how it came to be. Why people like it and what to do to correct it.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week we dip into the psychedelic funky, Japanese, lucid energetic tone of Alpha Chrome Yayo. Yes that's a lot of adjectives but it's hard to describe the work of the Belfast based composer who makes music for films and games and has a mild obsession with Japanese train sims. So we deep dive into why that is, how he sees music and where you can end up if you just listen to the music around you. Genuinely was hard not to enjoy chatting to him as we shared outlooks on life and creations and how part of each of our process is just seeing where the inspiration takes us!.You can check out his work on https://alphachromeyayo.bandcamp.com/https://twitter.com/alphachromeyayo?lang=enhttps://www.instagram.com/alphachromeyayo/?hl=enAnd I recommend checking out his visuals.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. This week I sit down to discuss cost, time and process as we dive into the value or an artists time and anyone's time outside of their final product. Do the people care about where something comes from? Branding tells you yes, you want to know more about the creator their work and why they made it but in social media where product is king and results get views where does that leave human beings? Yes we discuss AI a little but mainly we chat around process of creation. How easily it is to be disheartened when something doesn't land and overall that there is no right way to do this.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. Dave is an artist who's work I've been following for a while and I hadn't realized was local to NY but after being shown the way I was able to reach out and we decided to sit down in person and have a catch up. This week we talk considered creation, using found objects in your work and the concept of saying less with more. Dave creates ceramic pieces often working with reclaimed items he finds out in the wild. Created tongue in cheek and often funny items all whilst just enjoying the process. Lock and load your expectations as we sit down to discuss something which is obvious if you have been paying attention as we discuss my move to the United States of America. In July 2022 I relocated my life to the USA for my day job and in doing so took on all the advice I could on moving to a place I'd never even visited before. In doing so I found youtube littered with click bait videos and comparisons of the top ten things to know and comparisons and UK difference to US and to be honest none of them gave a good insight so here I am once again to set the record straight on what it's actually like moving to another place and hopefully provide some advice along the way.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast. Well this week we answer that question with Black Moth Societies The Thrift Keeper who creates guerrilla art work in public places and as such needs to remain unseen as to not tarnish the work and world we live in. Urgh toxic behaviour am I right? We all have it. Some more than others, some are working through it, some are ignoring it but what's at the core of it is you're stuck with it at least for a little while. One thing I've tried to do through my life is address myself and think about what that means to me. As whilst toxic masculinity and behaviour lead to me doing some questionable but not illegal things they are very powerful tools so often times I've looked at instead turning those tools into something positive. So this week I sit down to discuss "Because I can" an attitude adapted by many a person thinking they can get away with doing something untoward just because they had the means too regardless of motivation and how I try to look at the world through a hole of if it's true for the bad it can be true for the good too.Ituneshttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/yelling-at-concrete/id1238765054Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3T2OhYE07edgaBDXrm86saAcasthttps://shows.acast.com/yellingatconcreteYou can support the show and Graham by visitingwww.instagram.com/yellingatconcretewww.yellingatconcrete.bigcartel.comwww.ko-fi.com/yellingatconcrete Hosted on Acast.
