The theater has scheduled shows from May 3-19, with tickets available for purchase. Tanya Gilmer, Lionheart's founder, expresses enthusiasm for this crowd-pleasing comedy, reminiscent of Broadway's golden days. 300lbs Released, Not Aerodynamic, Yet, but a Hell of a Redesign: My name is Scott King 46 years old. Huge all my life. In 2006 I had gastric bypass. Day of surgery I was 552lbs. Lost weight but as these surgeries seem to go I gained all my weight back. I tried to have gastric again and was denied. I heard Vinnie Tortorich on the Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew show and as a last ditch effort I tried NSNG. I have lost 300lbs from it. Never been healthier. I have set my unicorn of all goals and that's the Ironman Texas in 2025. I hope this journey inspires the hopeless to take a change and encourage others.Quote: Less of me with NSNG Today's Top 3 Takeaways: Kitchen vs the gym.Healthy lifestyle choices vs surgical band-aids.NSNG Lifestyle vs a crash diet. But as I got into triathlon training, I realized I was actually a strong floater, and I wasn't the strongest swimmer. That is, I was very buoyant and so I mistakenly thought that meant I was a good swimmer. That was a whole entire different beast and my first try was a pool swim, a short one, then you go into open water swim. That's a whole different animal too now that you got currents to deal with, even in a small body of water. It'll expose every flaw or weakness you have in any technique.17:30 – I'm going to build up to that Ironman level of training. But with that comes incredible expenses. entry fees, all of that stuff. I mean, just simple stuff like hydration, nutrition, and that sort of thing. Buying shoes, because I'm a big guy, I wear out shoes, bicycle stuff, everything has a huge expense. Let's not forget I have three daughters. I've told Vinnie before I live in a trickle down economic system in my house, nothing trickles down to Dad, I'm the afterthought.24:15 – I had gastric bypass back in 2006 and I lost a good chunk of weight. Like a lot of people though, I started putting the weight back on. Roughly, around 2016-17, I was pretty much back exactly to where I was when I had gastric bypass beforehand. So I've tried to have gastric bypass again, because oddly enough, and I say this in quotations if you can get both or whatever. It was the only thing that ever worked for me. Which is kind of ironic because I'm trying to have it again because it didn't work for me.26:00 – So I downloaded a PDF, just saying screw it, I gotta check this No Sugar No Grains out. It was a simple list of don't do this, don't do that. I'm married, so I get this list, I'm pretty good at it, but I still didn't do anything about it. But one day, we were out front in the front yard. At the time, my two and a half year old daughter ran out to the street. I'll stop right now, nothing bad happened, because it's a very quiet street, but she was already in the road before I...

This guy's incredible—a true warrior in the world of entrepreneurship and personal growth, and he's back on the show to drop some serious knowledge. In this episode, we dive into the heart of it all. Scott's sharing his journey, and let me tell you, it's a story about embracing where you are and making the most of it—even when it's challenging. He's all about being true to yourself and figuring out life, one season at a time. We're also going to discuss how wisdom isn't just some old-fashioned idea—it's alive, kicking, and super relevant. Speaking of books that change lives, Scott has given my deep dive into Proverbs in my book Leading with Insight, a thumbs-up. We also talk about the tough stuff, —like facing our personal giants and stepping up to be better for those who come after us. It's all about changing your family tree and saying "Nah, I'm not gonna settle." We also discuss money—why that paycheck is just the beginning and how to overcome our comfort zones. Hey, we've all hit that snooze button one too many times, right? Check the episode out for some laughs, some Aha! moments, and maybe even a few heart tugs as Scott and I explore life, legacy, and the pursuit of something greater. The nominations are in for the 96th Academy Awards. And wow, 13 nominations for "Oppenheimer," which of course has been racking up awards at all of the awards shows this season. But the big story for us is the Best Lead Actor category, where Jeffrey Wright ("American Fiction") is up against Colman Domingo Rustin. This is the first time in Oscar history where two Black men have been nominated in this category that weren't named Denzel Washington and Will Smith. And these guys are up against some tough competition with Paul Giamatti in "The Holdovers." My next big hoorah goes to the ladies in the Best Supporting Actress category: Danielle Brooks ("The Color Purple"), America Ferrera ("Barbie"), and Da'Vine Joy Randolph ("The Holdovers"). Both of these categories really represent in terms of diversity. But the talk of the town, of course, is the big snub for "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig and the star Margot Robbie. Both were snubbed for Best Director and Best Actress nods. But I'm very excited for Sterling K. Brown's nomination -- his first for the Best Supporting Category -- also for "American Fiction," which got a nod for Best Picture. I've got to tell you, it is really my favorite for this year. We'll have a lot more on the Oscars as we march on to the date when it airs on ABC. That will be, of course, March 10th. Stay tuned for that. Dexter Scott King, son of MLK, passes away after battle with prostate cancer And by now, you may have heard the sad news that Dexter Scott King has passed away at age 62 after a battle with prostate cancer. Dexter is the son of the late Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. Dexter, who looked very much like his dad, was only seven when MLK was assassinated, but he too was a champion of justice like his father and president of the King Estate. I've known Dexter for many, many years, and I've got to tell you, we have lost a great man. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Scott knew he had to change his lifestyle when he realized, in a scary situation, he wouldn't be able to help his family. Vinnie noticed a recent Instagram post by Scott, where Scott revealed something he had been struggling with. It was a new bad habit: he shares that he had gotten addicted to "zero sugar" energy drinks. Scott's sugar cravings came back, even after years of not having cravings by living an NSNG® lifestyle. Scott recommends always being honest with yourself and your habits, so you don't fall back into them. Vinnie and Scott discuss energy drinks, the ingredients, and the detrimental effects they have on your body. (23:00) Scott has decided to give himself a new challenge, a longer-range Ironman Triathlon. (35:00) Vinnie shares some advice, both about the experience and the training.
