This week on the Exodus Cry podcast, Benjamin Nolot sits down with Brittni De La Mora, a former teen porn performer who now runs a nonprofit called Love Always Ministries, which helps people get free from porn, both as consumers and performers. Brittni discusses how her own abuse and neglect as a child played a huge role in her decision to enter porn at 18 years old. After a few years, she found herself addicted to drugs and involved with a pimp. Brittni desperately wanted to escape but was unable to see a way out after a life in the industry. Despite all of this, she explains how she was able to walk away after finding a relationship with Jesus. Brittni was frequently cast into barely legal roles as a teen in the industry. She and Benjamin discuss how these genres negatively affect children on a day-to-day basis as so many young kids and teens are turning to porn for sex education. Former porn star, Brittni De La Mora, recounts her journey from the depths of darkness to the light of salvation in this riveting conversation with Candace. After a life consumed by addiction and a career as a porn star, De La Mora bravely shares her story of perseverance and the unwavering love of God who never gave up on her. This is a tale of true redemption and the power of transformative faith. De La Mora's unwavering mission to help others leave the porn industry behind is unfiltered, brave, and inspirational to all.
In this episode, we welcome Brittni De La Mora to the show. She was a porn star for seven years and was seen as one of the most successful and sought-after porn actresses in the world during her career. She seemingly had it all: she was young, rich, and famous, but, as with many of the people inside of that industry, she was also miserable. She found herself in an endless cycle of shame, drug abuse, and suicide attempts. That was until Christ stepped in and saved her and delivered her from the sex industry. She and her husband now run Love Always Ministries which directly ministers to men and women in the sex industry and people trying to overcome addiction to porn, masturbation, and sex. She also has a book called A Call to Purity, which she co-wrote with her husband Richard, who is a pastor himself. Brittni and Richard also co-host a podcast and YouTube show called Let's Talk Purity. In this interview, we discuss her chaotic upbringing which led her to the sex industry, the misconceptions that the public has about porn and the workers therein, the levels of violence and rape that occurs on porn sets, the high levels of human trafficking involved with sex workers, why she left the porn industry, how Christ revealed Himself to her, what it was like talking to her now-husband about her past life, how shame and depravity have fueled and not crushed her, how she is able to share the Gospel with women that are still stuck in “the life”, and much more. Let's get into it… Episode notes and links HERE Donate to support our mission of equipping men to push back darkness Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
What is your vision? The power of the vision allows us to focus on the greater image, the future full of dreams and promises God has for us. Is the vision that will allow us to say no to things that are convenient at the moment that will deprive us from enjoying the blessings coming ahead. The next time you are tempted to sin or tempted to get out of the road, ask yourself this question; What is my vision? Is this going to help me build the vision I have or is this for temporal pleasure?
Pastors Richard & Brittni De La Mora lead Love Always Ministries, a ministry focused on healing and helping people affected by pornography and sexual inmorality. In this episode we hear their story and how God met them and showed their purpose at the perfect time. God in time makes everything beautiful. If we rush or we step out of His time, things can take some serious bad turns and mislead us out of our purpose. Enjoy this new episode of The Road To Restoration.

Last week, we had a conversation with Brittni De La Mora, who had spent 7 years in the porn industry. She shared that during those 7 years, she hated herself and wanted to commit suicide. That was before God rescued her.Today, we get a perspective from the consumer side of that industry and the damage it causes to individuals, marriages, and families. Our guests are Emmanuel and Bekah Guarino. Emmanuel began consuming porn at a young age, which quickly turned into an addiction. After meeting his soon-to-be wife, Bekah, he had hoped things would change. He decided to quit porn 90 days prior to their wedding. That turned into 60 days, then 30 days. The night before their wedding Emmanuel says he can still remember what he searched for to get his fix. The couple recalls their wedding night when porn-induced ED left them both hurt and frustrated.Bekah shares how that was the start of a long difficult journey to finding a solution to save their marriage, which had just begun. As we shared last week, 56% of marriages that end in divorce are the result of one spouse being consumed by a porn addiction. Bekah made the decision that she was not going to let them be a statistic. They began the healing process together, as a couple.Today, they are reaching out to couples who are struggling as they did, through “Team Vulnerable”. In this conversation, they walk through the steps they took together to overcome Emmanuel's porn addiction. Through the team approach, they can heal together. They both know the vulnerabilities that Emmanuel has and can work together to continue that healing process.Today is the last of our 2-part series on the destruction caused by pornography. As we mentioned last week, statistics reveal that up to 70% of men in the church are watching porn on a regular basis, and up to 33% of women in the church are also watching regularly.DISCLAIMER:Please be advised that this is a topic that is for mature audiences only and may not be suitable for those under the age of 18. Please note that this episode contains adult themes and may not be suitable for those under 18.-------------------Today's guest is Brittni De La Mora. Brittni spent 7 years of her life as a star in the porn industry. She will share how she rationalized the steps she took to become a porn star who received lots of praise, recognition, and money. Yet she was empty and suicidal.Did you know that,47% of Christian families say that porn is a problem in their home6 out of 10 say watching porn decreased their desire to read the Bible2 out of 3 said watching porn decreased their desire to serve in spiritual leadership68% of church-going men view porn on a regular basis33% of church-going women view porn on a regular basisMany believe that their porn problem doesn't really hurt anyone. They believe it is just a substitute or an alternative to sex. However, studies show that it ruins relationships, it ruins marriages, and it destroys families. Porn is not a guy problem, it is a human problem. Most who struggle with pornography believe that they are in the minority and that if anyone found out, they would be negatively labeled. They feel disqualified to take part in church activities, disqualified to be the spiritual leader of their families, and they even feel like God condemns them.In this and next week's episodes, my prayer is that if you struggle with pornography, you will recognize that this is a tactic of Satan to destroy your life and the lives of those you love.If you know of someone who needs to hear this message, please share it!----------------FROM THE SHOW:Love Always MinistriesLove Always Ministries YouTubeLet's Talk Purity PodcastCOURSES:SEARCH - How to Stop Watching Porn for MenSEARCH - How to Stop Watching Porn for WomenSingle & ContentGive Your Kids a Great Sex Talk----------------MORE ABOUT THE PODCAST:Behind The Mike websiteEmailRate & Review on Apple Podcasts-----------------SPONSOR:Covenant Eyes -Get 30-days FREE using promo code: BEHINDTHEMIKEhttps://covenanteyes.com-----------------Support the ShowSupport the showWatch these podcasts on YouTube!Follow Us!FacebookInstagramTikTokTwitterLinkedIn ...
