Ginny Tonic and Charlie are back from the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) and they're loaded up with comic topics to discuss. A couple of those even make it onto the show this week! Upholding their C2E2 tradition for the second consecutive year, they select three creators to interview during the show and share those conversations. Also this week Ginny and Charlie discuss how to ask for money and cover the nature and sustainability of Kickstarter. Next, they feature a couple beers in the Bottoms Up segment that come direct from the show and include a twist they didn't see coming. The fourth annual Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, or C2E2, happened this past weekend and Pants was there. He talks about his experience at the show and we discuss several of the news stories to come out of the convention. Also Murd gives us his thoughts on the first trade of Saga. (57:52)

Ginny Tonic and Charlie are off on a traveling adventure as they visit the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (aka C2E2). The instant Batman classic, Knight Of Vengance, which tells the alternate universe story of Thomas Wayne taking up the mantle of The Bat, and how he dealt with the death of his son Bruce on that fateful night in crime alley. The guys give us a preview of their new VERTIGO series SPACEMAN, and talk about ther future projects, like Dave Johnson's work on the upcoming new season of the Venture Bros on Adult Swim.Note- The recording of the talk was compromised, so there is some background surface noise, but you can still hear everyone clearly.

From last weekend's Wizard World Chicago Comicon I moderated this panel with DC artist Ethan Van Sciver . In addition to words about his early art beginnings , Ethan looks back at his original creation Cyberfrog, creating new villians for The Flash and Green Lantern, his transformation of Sinestro into the modern threat he represents to current DC continuity and discusses his future plans which include some writing such as a new story in October's Untold Tales Of The Blackest Night . In addition Ethan arranged for a baby grand piano for the room, and performed several f his original songs about Wolverine , Star Trek, The BP Oil disaster , and a post nuclear war future.By the way, in the center that's the recently convicted Illinois ex-govenor Rod Blagoevich, flanked by Ethan and his pal Gil.
