Unveiling the Wonders of Animal Communication with Heidi Wright In this episode of Soul Elevation, I was so excited to talk with my friend, Heidi Wright. Heidi is an exceptionally gifted animal communicator/pet psychic, who is regularly featured on TV in Japan and Korea. Heidi shares extraordinary stories from her extensive career that highlight her unique ability to telepathically communicate with animals. Hear about her incredible experience with a beluga whale in the wild, her insights from a grouper in an aquarium, and more. Central to her work is verifying the insights she gets, and it is fascinating to not only hear what she receives from the animals, but then to get these wildly unexpected insights verified by the humans in the animals' lives is astounding. Learn how Heidi transitioned from a law enforcement background to mastering animal communication, and discover tips on how you can connect with animals yourself. This episode also explores Heidi's encounters with diverse animals—from dolphins to tarantulas—and the profound wisdom she's gathered from them. Tune in to be inspired by Heidi's remarkable gifts and her journey beyond the veil. In this episode of The Actor's Career Compass, host Martin Bentsen offers practical, cost-effective tips for actors seeking to enhance their skills independently. He emphasizes the importance of practicing with friends, recording and critically analyzing one's own performances, and understanding the nuances of natural acting.Bentsen encourages actors to engage in a variety of exercises, from running scenes with friends to recording monologues and dialogue scenes. He also highlights the value of cold reads and self-analysis, asking "Why" in every aspect of the performance to ensure authenticity. Importantly, Bentsen advises against making choices solely to stand out, advocating for simplicity and truthfulness in acting. To further improve, he suggests studying film scenes and questioning the motivations behind each line and action. This episode is a treasure trove of advice for actors looking to refine their craft on their own.

2022.10.05– 0643 – Warming Up To Cold ReadsWarming up to cold readsSight-reading is what many rolling news presenters have to do: pick up a news script and read it straight off, with the correct pacing and intonation so it makes sense to the listener. One trick is to be able to sense from the first few words of the story what tone you should deliver it in. This can sometimes be tricky: a story which starts “a police officer who saved a woman from a burning house …” could continue, “…has been praised for his heroism” or “…has himself died in hospital”. So, if in doubt, start the story in a ‘standard' tone, neither light or heavy, so you can move into the correct one when you realise the exact content of the story. Hosted on Acast.
