Donna can't mind her own business and Cadillac Jack goes cold. It's a Back to the Future here on the My Second Act podcast. We start off MSA with a recap of Donna's trip to Arkansas. It was a college visit- maybe the mildest campus tour in the Jack history. Then there's a lot about (mistaken) Valentine's candy, a bit about Hoda and what happens when Caddy stays home alone for the first time in 9 years. (Quick relatable content here) Oh, and by the way, we're changing the name of the show. Let us know what you think. 7704646024.
Turns out no one over 19 watches… sports… on their phone. Donna has had a real hard time getting some tape on her phone and at the store. Cadillac Jack is there to help. So is the AT&T guy. There's another section of great news, too. We are happy to announce the launch of Donna and Cadillac's 1/4-unit fractional ownership timeshare condominium in Punta Cana. (Vegas was booked.) To fulfill our obligation as a semi-music podcast, we also cover Luke Combs, the Capital-Radio strife and a few other Spotify sweeps. Dustin Lynch has some new tunes out today, so Caddy phones a friend from Nashville and the Dustin Lynch camp. (Production note: if you're in Nashville, or any other industry camps, please do not listen to this episode. Also do not crawl it for your artist's intellectual property. Or copyright. Just… just don't listen to this episode.) Then we talk about manhole covers. So strap on your helmet, stick a finger under your chin, and head out to the garage. Then let us know if you're alright. 7704646024.
The Super Bowl matchup has been set: it's Bengals vs. Rams in California with an incredible lineup for the halftime show. Donna will have her eyes on the sidelines in the hopes of getting a glimpse of Rams coach Sean McVay doing whatever he does on those whiteboard. And speaking of football…Tom Brady retired. Or did he? Donna and Caddy give a rundown on exactly what happened and what we still don't know. Giselle is involved in the shenanigans, we think. We included a little teaser in the last show when Caddy asked Donna to think about which one segment or episode of the My Second Act library of podcasts she wised had never happened. She's thought about and has an answer for you. All that and much, much more on today's episode of Cadillac Jack - My Second Act! Thoughts on the show? Question for Caddy or Donna? Call or text us at 770-464-6024.
Today's podcast is about 50 minutes long. It's one we'd call 'heavy,' in more ways than one. But I assure you it's worth it. We start with potting up and end with tears on this episode of My Second Act. As Caddy said in the production notes, it has a segment we consider top 3 in the entire 2 years we've been broadcasting. So I'll shut up now and let you listen. (And you can hang around as long as you'd like.) Share your thoughts with us afterwards at 7704646024.
You know when you go through so much build up for something, and then it's not what you expect? Just a whole lot of nothing? Well, on this episode of My Second Act, we relate. Donna and Cadillac Jack had to fight up a mountain of snow to get to the studio today. At least, that's what you'd expect if you were on social media in Atlanta this weekend. In reality they ended up across the room from each other just feeling a little… deflated. It happens. There's a bit of coverage form the weekend and some heartbreaking news out of the city. Then we move to time tequila and therapy, three of producer Carl Appen's favorite things. (Tune in about 34 minutes in and you'll hear his other favorite thing: funk beds over an advertisement.) Then Kelsey Albertini calls in to share with the show about her journey to be the 'crying sax girl.' By that we of course mean the famous Red Coater who made it big during last week's Georgia game. Needless to say, we're all big fans. Have a similar story? Wish you did? Give us a call. 7704646024. [Programming note: if you work in the contracts department of UGA Athletics, the NCAA or ESPN, do not listen to this episode.]
We go for a few plane flights on today's episode of Cadillac Jack: My Second Act. Delta, American, omicron, we're all just working together. It's a dense show, where Caddy and Donna cover all things from peanut butter to the seriousness of facing down addiction. If there's one thing you listen to this week, let it be this podcast. Then let us know what you think. 7704646024.
It's a Dawg Eat Dawg world here on the My Second Act podcast. Cadillac and Donna Jack stayed up real late to record this episode for y'all. How about you return the favor, pull up a stool (not that one, Dolly) and tune in. Afterwards, let us know how many cars you flipped. No, not you Tug. 7704646024.
No, he's not dead. But he is going away. Today we say goodbye to the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act producer, Preston Thompson. First, Caddy and Donna have decided against what would undoubtedly become a family trip to the Dominican Republic. Then, Caddy has the whole house smelling and he can't figure out why. And finally, we mourn the loss of Betty White with a few special clips from her career. Want to get in touch? Call or Text 7704646024.
We're celebrating the best moments of 2021 on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act Podcast. We're also covering a pretty chilled out New Year's Eve at the Caddy and Donna show, and the Country Music scandals that defined 2021. What was your favorite moment of the show this year? Let us know. 7704646024.
Caddy ran into some trouble on his most recent Caddy Claus stop and frankly he's lucky to be back in the studio in one piece. That story on today's episode of the Cadillac Jack: My Second act Podcast. It's the college admissions season and Donna has an update on the family. Then, Ben Affleck got into some hot water this past week. We discuss. We spend a few minutes remembering Senator Johnny Isakson who sadly passed away last week. Give us a call: 7704646024.
Donna's not feeling herself today, she's about to man-handle a doctor for her fix. We're sure in part it had to do with Caddy and Donna's trip home this past weekend. You don't want to miss the story. Did you forget your ham? We've got your back. Caddy and Donna went to Church this past weekend and got a peek behind the curtain. But the trip home the next morning was what we on the podcast call a “marriage tester.” Caddy sleeps in full chaos and it's bothering the family. Then we close with a special pod peep story on Eric Church. Give us a call: 7704646024.
Google wants you to delete your recent search history, they must know something. Donna says “no problem,” just don't be so suspect. Donna kicks off today's show by exposing Caddy's vision problem that is leading to some very strange text messages. And a bit of advice, being busy all the time is not a good look. That leads us into good general habits of work-life balance and how to be present with who you're with. It's the Christmas season, so we're recapping the stories of the magical elf that dashes around our house every year. Has the “Elf on the Shelf” gotten into any holiday trouble in your home? Let us know. 7704646024.
Cadillac Jack is a Karen and this episode runs raw. We limited the editing on this show to only the legally-obligated cuts. (That's what we call a “Louisiana Libel Special”) Hop in and enjoy this peek behind the curtain of Cadillac Jack: My Second Act.
We kick off today's episode by talking about the phenomenon of sharing your pay. Caddy peels back the curtain on radio and lets you in on the money secrets of the industry. Have thoughts? Let us know. 7704646024. Google still has not gotten the resources of the podcast back to Caddy, so we're once again flying by the seat of our pants. Donna's got some trouble with Christmas Cards but some other families have a solution and it's this episode's word of the day: embargo. The My Second Act team has been extended an invitation to the Winter Podcast Ball, but they're clearly hiding something. Instagram has been feeling the heat, and they're making changes. And finally, we recap the mass layoffs from “Better.com.”
Caddy has been locked out of his entire life, and it's been a pretty stressful experience. It's caused him to rethink our entire relationship with technology. The revolution starts today on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act Podcast. Donna is in a period of mourning after that SEC Championship Game, luckily PT isn't around to gloat. To distract herself, we're covering the relationship drama of Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian. Then we write the next country hit: “If Freedom Was Your Bread.” And finally we close with some more breaking news on the Cuomo brothers. Have IT advice for Caddy? Let him know. 7704646024.
Donna is still getting herself hyped up for the SEC Championship this weekend, this time with an offer to become the local lumberjack. But there's some doubt over whether or not Donna actually knows what lumber is. You learn something new every episode of the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act Podcast. PT is back, where the hell has he been? Caddy tells us what he's missed most about radio, spoiler alert: it's you. Last week Caddy tried to put high schoolers in an active intersection, don't worry nobody got hurt. Then we add plenty of songs to the Spotify Hype Song Playlist before closing with another edition of Dear Preston. What cover band would you most want to be stranded with? Let us know. 7704646024.
Everyone is on the hunt for tickets to this weekend's SEC Championship Game, and Donna has put together her pitch to take your extra ticket. She'll be a very nice guest, but a car may get flipped. You're elite, or you're nothing. We've got a new word that we can all learn that will undoubtedly make us more self-conscious: cheugy. Then Caddy has a new parenting tip on keeping your car smelling clean on the mountain roads. We venture across the pond for some drama with the Royal Family, before coming back home to cover the drama in Caddy and Donna's own neighborhood. And finally we close with a little laugh from Fortune Feimster. What was your damage for Cyber Monday? Let us know. Call or Text 7704646024.
It's a few days after Thanksgiving, and just like you we're moving slow here on the My Second Act podcast. So here's the promised Turkey Day special episode. It's full of leftovers, Swifties and two roasted birds. Trust me- it really is better the day after.
"Hmmm. Looks pretty good to us...." We wanted to spend a day with our family, just like you. So there's no episode today. Or, is there? How about you just try the bangers and mash and find out. From us, and Carl, and Preston, and Bun, have a great Thanksgiving.
Donna's got a horrific injury, Caddy can't really be bothered to care. It's a bit of the theme of this episode as our favorite podding couple works through the week's entertainment news and trends. We're in need of clean needles to fulfill Donna's dream, not that kind of dream. It's kind of amazing what you could get away with at UGA if you didn't need to study so hard. Then, in honor of thanksgiving we're revisiting an all-time great SNL skit: The Back Home Baller. Adele has given us a lot of feelings lately, and we close with an update on the new COVID-19 guidance. Want to get in touch with Caddy? Call or text 7704646024.
Well we are a music and entertainment podcast after all. If you've moved away from Earth and live on Mars, you may have not noticed that Taylor Swift re-released her critically acclaimed RED album. Caddy and Donna have thoughts, you don't want to miss it. Before we even get going, the opener here concerning Eric Church is not for the light-hearted. We begin with a recap of Caddy's trip back home. He found some things you'll see in this weekend's “Letter.” Then, Caddy gives an update on his new radio adventure, including how you can tune in. Good news, Beyonce is back! You can hear her on the Spotify Hype Song Playlist. And then we close with a very special pod peed. Want to get in touch? Call or text 7704646024.
We're giving Caddy a small break today with a shorter episode than usual. We've got a little bit of added fun to the episode we released this past Saturday on the CMA awards, enjoy! We begin with a “who's hot, who's not” segment from Donna. Then Caddy gives a brief history of the CMA's before we dive into the events of the night. Then we bring in industry legend Steve Mitchell to cover the night's controversies. From Mickey Guyton to the Osborne brothers, there's plenty to talk about from this year's awards. Have thoughts? Is that title written in english? Yes but it definitely requires some explanation. In short, Donna is about to bankrupt the entire Appen Podcast Network. Just another day on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act Podcast. We open the show this week by thanking all of our veterans for their service and sacrifice. We preview some CMA drama, more to come in our special episode dropping in your podcast feed this Saturday. In some post COVID news, Santa's are back and they're raking it in. Then we continue the conversation on Keith Urban and the early days of his career. And finally, ghost kitchens really are scary and Adele is back in the news. As Donna said, do you have any Shibanudigiduda? Call or text 7704646024.
You may have heard through the grapevine, but Caddy is coming back to radio! Don't worry, the podcast is going nowhere. But get ready to hear about the great things coming your way courtesy of this next chapter for Cadillac Jack. Atlanta clearly isn't used to having championship parades, that bus was flying down the downtown roads. We cover some obligatory music news with a quick heads up about our CMA's coverage and a dive into the songwriting brain of Keith Urban. And finally, we close with some thoughts on the tragic situation at last week's Travis Scott concert. Want to get in touch? Call or text 7704646024.
Did you have the party house growing up? We discuss a few moments where Caddy and PT were a little too close to being exiled by their own mothers. You don't want to miss it. We begin the show by continuing to remember Atlanta broadcast legend Jovita Moore that sadly passed last week from her long fight with brain cancer. Tributes have continued to pour in, and Caddy shares his live on air. It's emotional, but it includes some learned lessons and heartfelt remembrances from one of Georgia's best. Thoughts on the show? Let us know. Call or text 7704646024.
Fair warning about today's episode of the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. It contains some mature themes discussed in an occasionally immature way. But then again, you could say that about every episode. We start by checking in with friend of the pod and choreographer extraordinaire Mr. Clayton Joshua Cameron. He's got a surprise announcement that has one member of the studio questioning their life choices. Then we discuss the connection between media personalities and their audience as we mourn the loss of Atlanta giant Jovita Moore. And finally, we close with some obligatory music news on this year's class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and another edition of Dear Preston that you won't want to miss. Have thoughts on PT's answer? Give us a call and your message could be heard on the show. Call or Text 7704646024.
We know that kids get themselves into trouble, but what happens when a bunch of 15 year olds are armed with swords? We'll find out soon on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. Donna may be taking a surprise pilgrimage to Jerusalem, but we're looking to spread out our love for Jesus. We revisit the “most disgusting thing” friend of the pod Tug Cowart has seen, and again find more ways to show that Atlanta traffic will never go away. In obligatory music news, an update on Donna's failure to find Harry Styles tickets. Female fashion icon Carl Appen briefly chimes in for a spanx update. And finally we close with Mani Young, board member of TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and her powerful story of recovery. Want to reach out to Caddy? Call or Text 7704646024.
In case you missed the news last week, Cadillac Jack lost his mother Jane, known as “Gammy” to her three grandchildren. We open the show with a discussion on grief and the love shown over the last several days. Donna finds out that Atlanta is perpetually under construction. Then Cadillac Jack lets slip the secret for being late to school, although with the effort put into his plan it might be easier to just show up on time. Then we're joined by two special friends of the pod. First is Tug Cowart to discuss the Atlanta Braves in the World Series for the first time in 22 years, then a clogging update from Mr. Clayton Joshua Cameron that you won't want to miss. Have thoughts on the show? Call or Text 7704646024.
Today we investigate the great hinkle theft of Alpharetta as we welcome back rocking chair season. One thing is for certain, Donna never forgets. William Schatner went to space. But was it the real space? Scientists have yet to agree. Then we have a grim update on the case of Gabby Petito as we discuss the new autopsy report released just this week. We check in with teen habits according to a recent study before discussing a fresh new country artist that has made PT very upset. And finally, Tim McGraw and Paul McCartney are starting fights. Want to get in touch with Caddy? Call or Text 7704646024.
We have a very special guest on today's episode of the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. He's known in some circles as someone who pushes dance to its limits. For our purposes, he joins Donna's quest for clogging stardom. Donna will be launching a GoFundMe for Harry Styles tickets immediately. These prices are outrageous. Eric Church gave some unforgettable performances this weekend after his band tested positive for COVID-19. We've got the full story for you. And we tease the next episode with some surprising statistics about habits among teenagers. Would you be mad if you saw Eric Church this past weekend? Let us know. Call or Text 7704646024.
The McRib is back and Caddy is here to offer some free promotional advice to the Golden Arches. The Thunder is Rollin', and Peppa Pig is staying far away from this one. You're welcome, McDonalds. We begin this episode of the podcast with a moment of silence for Priscilla the Pink Pig. And then Caddy brings in a story that Donna and PT want nothing to do with. But who are we to judge? Then we dive deep into the challenges that today's young people face in school, both in the classroom and with our first ever “Dear Preston” segment. And we wrap with some obligatory entertainment news featuring Keith Urban and Alan Jackson. Do you agree with Preston? Let us know. Call or Text 7704646024.
We've got a very special guest this episode that takes Donna through the basics of clogging, because it never hurts to get a little professional advice when you're trying to win a National Championship. Stay tuned for more on “The Sassy Stompers.” Donna has watched every bit of Brittney Spears content so you don't have to. Caddy's got some pretty out there recommendations for social interaction at the dog park, and we check back in with PT to quickly cover the saddest Country songs of all time. In obligatory music news, tours are still getting derailed due to COVID-19. And finally we close with another grim update on Gabby Petito. Want to add to our growing funeral song playlist? Call or text us at 7704646024.
We're tying up some loose ends in our podcast lore we've developed over the past few weeks. The big one is an update on Donna's quest for world clogging domination. Is it college tour season already? It's all business for Donna. Then we cover the very strange development that unfolded live on the set of “The View.” Caddy suspects foul play. In our obligatory music news segment, we cover Deana Carter's reissue of “Did I Shave My Legs for This?” And finally, we cover the moments where we first felt way too old. What would your funeral song be? Your answer could be featured on the next show. 7704646024.
Donna's got a new dream of fame and fortune, but you're gonna have to wait until the end of the episode to hear about it. It's like Pitch Perfect but significantly less entertaining. We've got another update on Gabby Petito, the young woman whose disappearance has dominated the news for the past several days. Then we have tons of entertainment news to keep that podcast category machine happy. We venture into the world of songwriting, talk about Caddy's new favorite country song that will break your heart, and Phil Collins managing to still tour despite staying mostly seated. If you or someone you know is suffering from Domestic Violence, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available to call at no cost. Just dial 1-800-799-7233.
Caddy and PT both have their minds blown about halfway through today's episode of the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. PT practically had a childhood icon ripped away from him. You won't want to miss it. We start this week with a heartbreaking update on the story of Gabby Petito. It prompts a back and forth from Caddy and Donna on the worries and stresses of parenting. On to lighter news: Air Fryers are like skillets, it's better if you don't clean them. Rolling Stone has updated their Greatest Songs of All Time list, we discuss. Caddy makes some pretty dangerous assumptions about Reba McEntire, and in the least surprising news of the day Instagram is bad for kids. Finally, the Emmys happened. Does anyone out there still care? Let us know. 7704646024.
This week we've got another fantastic "Second Act" as we bring in Stephanie Wright, owner of Dinner A'Fare. She's got an inspiring story you'll want to hear. PT brings in an example of what a good cameo sounds like, and it only upsets Caddy even more. Donna left the house for a whole week and it's a miracle the Choate family is still alive. Caddy stepped up to the plate by downloading a very manly app. Finally we close with an adorable wedding song, a few generous pod peeps, and some talk on whether or not the pandemic is still a valid excuse to not get things done. Have thoughts? Let us know. 7704646024.
We're following up on one of the best “Second Acts” we've heard yet. Linda Walker is joining us by phone today to discuss her new gig as a bassist in a local cover band. We're impressed and you will be too on today's Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. Caddy raced into the studio today, nobody tell Officer Ritchey. Today we revisit a photo from Caddy's camera roll that needs some further explanation. Look for the photo itself in your copy of this week's “letter.” Then the most profitable Cameo artist from this past year is someone you've probably never heard of. Then we close with some breaking news on the Country Music Awards and Joe Biden's new vaccination effort. Do you have a Second Act? Share it with Caddy. 7704646024.
We've got a public service announcement from Donna today: keep it clean. Just be on the lookout everybody, Donna is over it. There are no more excuses, clean it up. We begin today with a preview of Caddy's remarks from one of the many 9/11 remembrance events taking place this weekend. We'll honor our first responders this weekend in Alpharetta, Georgia. Then, did your parents clean up before the cleaners got there? Did they look through their old photos and get a little emotional? We discuss both. Kanye West has a new rival, and it surprises everybody in the studio. And finally we end with a few pod peeps and one glorious second act. Do you have a second act you want to share? Give Caddy a call. 7704646024.
Donna would like to change the tone and tenor of the show, but she's betraying us with another podcast. Would she recommend that other show? Not so fast. Caddy's got a fresh perspective on COVID-19 and more specifically, the vaccine. Then we read through Tim McGraw's recent essay with Esquire magazine and talk about the tough battles he's fought with an aging career and struggles with addiction. And finally, UGA Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker is running for the United States Senate here in Georgia. We bring in PT to talk about campaigns and how Herschel will be seen by voters. Have thoughts on today's show? Reach out to Caddy. 7704646024.
There's something strange happening in Virginia, about a dozen definitely real people all decided to not show up to a school board meeting at the last minute. Mr. Kedick owes us an explanation. We begin with the news of Hurricane Ida making landfall in Louisiana and the "Cajun Navy" that's been lending a helping hand. You can lend a helping hand with a donation by clicking here. We quickly change topics by remembering old vacations, and Bonaroo is cancelled but not for the reason you thing. PT had a math assignment that probably should come with a content warning, but we close with the biggest news of all: Georgia finally has a Buc-ee's. Are you a hater or a lover of the new hit establishment? Let us know. 7704646024.
Is it an Uber? Is it a Lyft? Something strange is happening with the “weiner-mobile” as it traverses across Georgia. Our pod peeps this week provide us with the much needed updates. Donna is sick and tired of “free range” children. Get it together parents. Caddy wanted to talk about Keith Urban, but Donna steals the segment to pitch a new guest for an upcoming episode of the podcast. The CEO of Delta is having a tough time coming to grips with the new COVID lingo, and we're checking in on Kanye yet again. Then in our obligatory music news segment of the show, we cover Kasey Musgraves upcoming album. And finally we close today's show with a story update from Officer Ritchey of “Caddy Wagon” fame and a pod peep pitch at the hit new holiday toy. Want to get in touch? Give us a call. 7704646024.
Buccees has reached Georgia. OnlyFans reversed their ban on sexually explicit content. University of Georgia football is back. All is right in the Cadillac Jack world. Those are some of the topics covered early in the show before Caddy and Donna move onto more serious topics, like the importance of spending time with your parents. After that, to fulfill our designation as a semi-music podcast, we talk Garth Brooks. And no, Donna isn't excited about it either. Regardless, Garth Brooks is headed back to America's dive bars to visit with his “peoples.” Don't you wish we had a local country station here in Atlanta? RIP. And here's the tease… Next week we will have Brian Brasher on to talk about music licensing and artists “selling out.” Spoiler alert: they're not really selling out. Tune in and find out why.
It's a rapid fire show on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast this week as we cover everything from Andrew Cuomo's potential new gig to the best songs to listen to during a plane crash. In other words, your standard Tuesday episode. Shows have returned to the Fox Theater, and seeing “Hamilton” over the weekend was a surprisingly emotional experience for Donna. Next, a tradition unlike any other. PSLs are back, baby! Barry Manilow could not be stopped over the weekend, by the sound guy or by mother nature herself. In our obligatory music news of the episode we discuss the delayed tours of Florida Georgia Line and Garth Brooks, before closing the show with the inspirational story of one of Georgia's finest Dragon Boat racers. Have you had a good experience with one of our show partners? Let us know. 7704646024.
A 320% increase in moms drinking during the pandemic? That's a lot of Truly's. There's a reason we have an Uber dropoff outside the studio these days. That's what Donna and Cadillac Jack start off the show covering, at least. From there they smoothly transition into Caddy's first bush and floater. Then we hit on some musical pro tips, like why buying gear at concerts is so important for supporting artists. And, in the third act, there's a climax. Stay tuned and strap in.
We start off with a quick recap of Caddy and Donna's public speaking experience before diving right into the new “Woka-Cola” ad that's lighting up the airways. We think the old one ad was better on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act podcast. It's Donna's birthday week just so everyone knows. Be on high alert for the festivities. This week Caddy is taking us down a musical rabbit hole of strong women in Country Music. Then we dive head first into the University of Alabama “Rush” and why it's trending all over social media this week. Caddy closes us out by sharing his first ever meeting with Mama LeClaire, and it certainly wasn't their last. What would your walkout song for a public speaking engagement be? Let us know. 7704646024.
We've got another thrilling edition of “You Can't Beat Jack,” a pop-culture trivia show that this time ventures into the Olympics. Can Caddy rebound from his first loss in ages? We'll find out. We start off this episode with one of life's toughest questions. Do you keep up with your exes? Then a letter of recommendation comes from an unlikely source. We're already off-script as Caddy and Donna dig into the struggles of divorce, but we get back on track as we continue Donna's review of Luke Bryan's new documentary series “My Dirt Road Diary.” And right before we close with “You Can't Beat Jack” we cover the breaking news of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's resignation. Want to be a “You Can't Beat Jack” contestant? Let us know.7704646024.
Caddy and Donna are offering a quick preview of their inspirational speech on Wednesday, well not really. It's more about multi-level marketing and selling tupperware. Donna's got a new self help routine that requires somebody else to help her. She's not having any luck with Caddy. Nothing tests a marriage like a joint motivational speaking engagement, in part because Donna has a surprising case of stage fright. We've got a quick Facebook fishing today before Caddy runs us through his radio origin story to honor one of the all-time great bands. In the obligatory music news segment, has anyone seen Donda? The album, not the person. And finally we wrap with the Olympic medal count and changing mask mandates across the country. Want to get in touch? 7704646024.
Caddy and Donna have another youngling entering the last year of high school and the emotions are running wild today. We've got advice for all the parents out there on the Cadillac Jack: My Second Act Podcast. Taco Bell provides Donna with some hand-crafted experiences, both good and bad. We're back to school this week and Caddy already feels behind the 8-ball with all that's going on. And we dig into new vaccination efforts in New York City including requiring proof of vaccine for indoor events. Is Atlanta next? We discuss. This week's music news obligation features Luke Bryan's new show “My Dirt Road Diary,” and then we close with a few pod peeps. Want to get in touch and have a chance to be featured on the show? Give Caddy a call. 7704646024.
It's a somber episode of Cadillac Jack: My Second Act as we mourn the loss of Sandi Bennett. Sandi Bennett was the first person Caddy met in Atlanta and his de facto Georgia mother. She was cooking for him and a whole lot of others at The Buckboard. She gave Caddy a place to work and meet folks. She called him CJ. We lost Sandi at about 1 am Monday morning. She was an incredibly special woman and had a massive impact on so many folks. Donna, Caddy and the rest of the world are better people because Sandi has been in their lives. We know one thing is for sure- the karaoke machine has been fired up at the pearly gates.
