It's happening again. Gennady Golovkin has vowed to rid the world of evil, and the only man standing in his way is "El Veneno" Marco Antonio Rubio. Okay, so there are a lot of men standing in his way aside from Rubio, but the Mexican veteran is the only heart pure enough, the only balls big enough, to accept the GGG Challenge. (That's hyperbole.) James Foley of Bad Left Hook and The Queensberry Rules' Patrick Connor are proud to be overly kind to Golovkin once more while previewing a fight of his. Also up this week: recaps of Jermain Taylor vs Sam Soliman and Cornelius Bundrage vs Carlos Molina, and a preview of Nonito Donaire vs Nicholas Walters, plus otherstuff. Thanks for tuning in! Dr.'s Edwin Rodriguez and Patricia Lugo from Puerto Rico are a great example of turn around in business. The focus on what matters most is the secret.
The best part about the end of 2013 for boxing, thus far, is that this weekend's Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios bout from Macau, China may not even be the most anticipated. It probably has the single biggest star from now until 2014, but the sport of boxing will be throwing some serious heat at us for the rest of the year -- and in combination. This week episode of TQBR Radio sees Tim Starks, Queensberry Rules and Transnational Boxing Rankings Board founder, joining James Foley of Bad Left Hook and TQBR's Patrick Connor once again. On the menu: Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios tartare and accompanying side dishes, Carl Froch vs. George Groves stew, and last week's foul Andre Ward vs. Edwin Rodriguez plate. Thanks for tuning in!

Another week, another set of fights to discuss, pick apart, have technical difficulties about and so forth on Queensberry Rules Radio. Us boxing fans sure are getting spoiled. But it's probably for the best if we whine, kick sand and make childish jokes. Luckily, that's exactly what James Foley of Bad Left Hook and Patrick Connor of Queensberry Rules plan to do once more on this episode. For starters, Mikey Garcia drew forth plenty of favorable comparisons with his destruction of Rocky Martinez, and don't forget Nonito Donaire sniffing the faint odor of defeat before dipping Vic Darchinyan in a pool of hurt juice. Demetrius Andrade also got a win over Vanes Martirosyan (not really worth the joke, pun or fancy language), and Andre Ward vs. Edwin Rodriguez may be worth a few minutes on the show. Thanks for tuning in!

It seems the anticipation is all with later summer and fall match ups, and boxing fans have had to stumble through the month of July without much in the way of high level action. 2013 has, thus far, been a kind one to boxing fans, for the most part, and Queensberry Rules Radio will stay in there, for better or worse, through sickness and in health, etc. BadLeftHook.com's James Foley and Queensberry-Rules.com's Patrick Connor return to blast nonsense at fellow boxing addicts. This week, Brian Campbell of ESPN joins the show to recap Kell Brook vs. Carson Jones II, Edwin Rodriguez vs. Denis Grachev, Glen Tapia vs. Abie Han, and much more. Thanks for tuning in!
