Big-time boxing is back on Saturday night as Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez takes on Edgar Berlanga at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Alvarez lighting up Vegas on Mexican Independence weekend has become very familiar over the years and this one could have a very familiar outcome, with Canelo (60-2-2) a best price of 1/12 (as short as 1/25) to prevail. Billi (@SGPSoccer) breaks down the all the odds and tries to find some value in the market, with Canelo being such a short favourite. The episode then moves onto looking at fight between Erislandy Lara and Danny Garcia on the Canelo undercard and then closes out by looking at tonight's UFC 306 main event, where Sean O'Malley defends his bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Stevenson was dominant in 12 round decision and will now look fight at lightweight. Dan gives his thoughts on all. Dan also has two fighters on the undercard that stood out to him. Finally, the discussion turns to Joe Joyce's KO win in the Queensberry Promotions main event over Parker. That's an important win for Joyce and what's Dan's insight on him having a legitimate shot to possibly win a portion of the heavyweight crown. The guys also talk women's featherweight champ Amanda Serrano winning easily by decision on the undercard and whether Eddie Hearn's lawsuit for defamation will cloud a possible Serrano matchup with Katie Taylor, too?Hear it all on "Fight Freaks Unite Recap," as part of the Big Fight Weekend podcast feed and make sure you're following/subscribing on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google, etc.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/big-fight-weekend/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
