TALK TO ME, TEXT ITA fresh start and exciting news highlight this episode as I reveal my brand new blog project: AnAmericanist.com! After returning from a quick Tunica getaway, I share my vision for this new conservative platform that delivers blunt takes on politics and pop culture while aiming to include younger patriots in their 30s who are making waves in the conservative movement. My first post tackles Pete Hegseth's restoration of equal combat fitness standards for military personnel—regardless of gender—as it rightfully should be.The episode takes a fascinating turn as we explore an absurd controversy unfolding in a Long Island school district. A parent and NAACP chapter leader has actually filed a complaint against the school's new Spartan mascot, claiming it's "white supremacist" and "anti-woman." This perfectly captures the ridiculous extremes of cancel culture, where even ancient Greek warriors aren't safe from modern purity tests. As Greek-American comedian Ellen Karis brilliantly points out, the Spartan represents admirable qualities like strength, discipline, and fighting for one's community—exactly what you want in a mascot! Before wrapping up, I pose the age-old relationship question about bathroom etiquette: should men put the toilet seat down? After years of marriage, my perspective is refreshingly practical—I can handle putting it down myself! Throughout the episode, I contemplate rebranding this podcast to align with my new blog identity, so stay tuned for potential changes coming soon. Check out AnAmericanist.com, share your thoughts, and join me in celebrating traditional American values without apology.
